Our side yard and a corner of our backyard had gotten out of control this summer so we called Oasis Landscapes and scheduled their "clean up services" through Lawn Maintenance. From our consultation with Mike Goodall, to scheduling with Tricia Anthony, to the actual work completed by Henry and his team... our experience was exceptional. It is the dead of summer, so after our initial consult, it took a few weeks for the work to get done, but Mike was very transparent about this up-front, so I was totally fine with it (It is summer! Everyone wants their lawn cleaned up!). Tricia was available through email and phone when we were scheduling. Henry and his team, who spent two days cleaning up, were thorough and transformed our side yard. On day two, I requested that a few areas be trimmed up even more and Henry was gracious and patient (I had a lot of questions because I was not home the first day they worked in the yard). Their price for this clean up was very fair and comparable to the other quotes I received and they had the work knocked out in a very short amount of time. No showed for an April 2nd appointment. Spoke to the co-owner who confirmed they were enroute. NO ONE showed up. No call, text, apology, made up excuse or acknowledgement of the no showed appointment. So then they emailed a week later like nothing happened to visit our property on some random day we had absolutely no knowledge of. When I reminded them that they no showed for our appointment and we weren't interested, they took the reminder as confirmation and came by anyway! I can't make this up. RUN..and fun fast. The level of unprofessional is next level. From reading the other reviews, we dodged a bullet- and the unprofessional comes from the top which is really concerning. read more

This co. lacks integrity and follow through. Hired them to do an a landscape project costing well over $30,000. They offer warranty that states if you have an irrigation system, which we do, and foliage dies within a certain time frame, which it has, they will replace. I lost two green giants and several shrubs, sod etc. Only wanted them to replace the two trees. Was passed around several times, finally was told the owner would resolve this issue, not so. Kevin ( the owner) has ignored over 6 emails inclosing photos and plead for resolve. We were only looking to have two of the dead trees replaced, not even adding the sod that died along with several bushes. We were willing to take the loss. Well it all was a loss. Kevin would not and will not respond to ANY of our correspondence. Called Po Boys the owner had integrity and he cared. I wish, I'd found them sooner. They replaced my trees and working on outdoor kitchen as a result of our appreciation of cleaning up up Oasis mess. River Rock bed pitched improperly cable lines left suspended in air after lying of sod. Oasis was not the experience we were looking for, at all! BEWARE! read more

Oasis techs, Brian and Erica came out to repair my irrigation system, which had not worked for several years. I thought they were gonna give me an estimate, but Brian was so thorough and knowledgeable. He repaired it on the first call and had everything running and programmed in three hours; the competitive bed I had was over $500 more than what Oasis charged. Today I had an irrigation system installed. The two young men that showed up were nothing less than professional. They made sure they explained how and why they were installing the system. They tested the system to ensure it was working properly. Explained in detail how to operate the system and cleaned up the concrete upon completion. I don't have the name of the two men, but they were amazing. Best decision I made in a long time. I would highly recommend Oasis for any outside project. Hats off to those two employees. Poor execution on a simple job. Had them install weed barrier and river rock in a low spot in my backyard to deal with the mud. They had the rock dumped on my front lawn. I had to pick out the left over rock so that we could mow. did not use any plywood sheets to to disburse the weight of wheel barrel to move the rock to the back yard subsequently taking out berms that control water and turning my gravel side yard into a mud pit. Which they offered to fix for $3800.00 Left a messy job sight (see picture). All seemed unprofessional given their website and limited reviews. Have had all kinds of work done in our backyard before and never had such a mess. WARNING their website is very misleading. Website pushes the need for a professional landscape design. Leading me to believe they are landscape architects.... NO they are not. Those beautiful picture on their website.... think those are samples of their work? NO. Don't make the mistake. Whatever the opposite of customer-centric is, that's what Oasis is. They are reactive at best, and completely went dark for weeks at a time. Example: I bought 5 trees to be planted. While 4 of them lived, the one in the middle died. 1.5 years later, I'm still waiting on my replacement. I've had 20+ exchanges w/ them, and I always get excuses as to why they haven't replaced it w/ a tree that will match my other ones. I have recently left them for another provider for monthly service, and my experience is so much better in my new world. read more

I received my sod this spring. Within 60 days all of the weeds from the prior lawn were growing through thicker than before. I called to have Ross come and look at the situation but he doesn't return calls. We texted him pictures of the problems and agin, no return calls. The owners are very friendly but always put me back to Ross. Now after 6 months, 1/2 my yard looks worse than before and I have had to go out and hire a company to treat all of the awful weeds. I give them 1 star due to poor customer service and the lack of doing anything once they got my check. read more

This oasis is a mirage. I have left three messages over three days and no response. Today I finally caught someone, who said that they were going to a meeting. She said that she was going to call me right back following her meeting. And, guess what? She never did. It's interesting how the only other comment on here says the same. Absolutely our worst nightmare was hiring Thom to do a very simple patio with pavers! No cuts, and very easy terrain to work with. His initial setting was so uneven that he even admitted it was bad. He reset the pavers, but in both installations failed to follow the manufacturer instructions for the polymeric top sand. The result has ruined the pavers. Once you sign his contract he never responds. Now that he knows we have an issue he has totally blown us off. Sadly, we are now pursuing legal action to recover our loss. read more

Not only is the appointment a "no-show" after I called their office they told me they had not no appointment on their books and to make matters worse no-one has called to re-set the appointment. Steer clear. Some guy named Rod Cobb came out. Sat in his car for 2-3 mins while I stood nearby. Gets out, walks around my yard and doesn't have much constructive input and at the end of it all he asks me to follow up with him because he's busy. Nice enough guy, just a weird interaction considering I'm a customer ready to spend $10k+ to fix his landscape needs. Needless to say, no follow up, no estimate, no further contact from the company. I've had them come out twice to do service work and couldn't be happier. The communication from inside was excellent, the guys showed up on time, assessed what needed to be done and did it to my satisfaction. They tested and ran my system while they were here, checked all the zones to make sure they were working. My experience both times was excellent. read more

We had a great experience working with Oasis! They came and re-did the front yard area of our office (cleared everything out/put in better grass and then added a firepit, shrubs we picked out and trees for privacy.) They were extremely professional and completed the entire job in just ONE day. I've never seen a landscaping project go so smoothly. Kevin the owner is extremely nice and great to work with. He came himself to do the consultation, which I was really impressed by. He gave us a few different options on everything and worked with us to stay within our budget. That being said, this is definitely not a cheap landscaping company, but the work they do is so high quality I would say they are definitely worth it. read more

We had Oasis come out to our home in early september to look at sodding our yard and fixing the drainage. We told Ross how much $ we had to spend. Ross had a quote out to us in a day or so and once we accepted, we were on the calendar for a late September instal as we had to get the sod down. Ross and Brian (project foreperson) showed up on the day and they got the project completed in the 4-5 day time frame they said it would take. Ross, Brian and Ben are a great team and did a great job on our project. I would recommend them to people looking to do work to their yard. read more

From what I can tell, many of these negative reviews are for the Woodstock/Marietta location, or wherever that is. This review is for the Doraville/Winters Chapel Rd. location. We dealt with Kasey, Tricia, Ben from the office/sales/management side, and Fabian and his crew were the installers. It took us forever to find a company that responded to messages, came out and gave a good, reasonable estimate, and showed up when they said they would. That's what Oasis did--we were so excited to complete the work, and they did a really nice job. There were some minor annoyances along the way, but nothing compared to what we've spent the last year dealing with from other companies. I would have given five stars if they hadn't kept trying to talk me out of the plants and trench I wanted, and had followed up to ask how everything went and whether we are satisfied (Customer Service 101). However, since the work looks good and was done professionally, we are still happy with this company. We wanted to use them for maintenance, but their contracts have too many "rules". We would use them again for major installations, sprinklers, etc. though. read more

He and his partner worked hard and got the work done much more quickly than expected. The work made a big improvement. He obviously knew what he was doing and took his work very seriously. The crew were professional, courteous, and asked good questions to make sure they met our wishes. They stand behind their work. There was no end to the problems I had with this company. I eventually had to hire another company to tear up all the work they did in my back yard, including tearing up all the sod and my patio, put in drainage to fix the flooding, and build a new patio. Ross Day and the Oasis team have been excellent to work with on our project. We had quite a few areas in our yard that needed attention, including tree removal and plant replacement. We also wanted to add new flower beds and a fire pit. The team (led by Jose) put a lot of effort into their work and listened to our feedback to correct anything that didn't fit our specifications. They were courteous, timely, and responsive. Ross made the project perfect. He worked closely with me throughout the design and implementation, and truly listened to my ideas and wishes. He was able to respond to make things just right. We are pleased with the final project and can't wait to continue working with the team in the Spring to add to our flower beds and perform continuous maintenance for our yard. read more

In less than four years since we replaced our entire retaining wall done by Oasis, we noticed some shifting and bulging of the wall. Turns out that the wood was rotting due to carpenter ants infestation. Oasis used the cheapest and untreated wood. We had to redo both levels of the retaining walls. Can I give no stars? Oasis Landscaping took two weeks after I called for an appointment to come out and see my property. Everybody's busy...no big deal. Finally Ross Day shows up and we spend about 45 min discussing maintenance plan and property ideas. Ross and I discussed all plans and solutions on October 16th. Today is November 4th and I still don't have any quotes of what we discussed other than a maintenance plan. He won't answer my calls. He said he will call me and he didn't. He said he would have Tricia call me and she didn't call. I cannot beg anymore to be their customer. No timely follow up or communication! I've wasted over a month trying to make this work. Their website is plastered with badges of endorsements and ratings, which is why I called them and was willing to wait weeks for an appointment. Once they came out I then waited several more weeks, at which point I had to call constantly and practically beg for an estimate, and yet still another week went by. They said they were behind on projects and the estimator hadn't gotten a chance to write it up yet. I called and expressed my exasperation with the process and gave them a chance to fix it. Another week went by and more phone calls before I finally got the estimate...which was just a list of the ideas I had with a number next to them. Probably took him an hour. No diagram, no imagination, no drawings. I asked a follow-up question and a week later I still have no response. I am flabbergasted as to why they even came out to my property other than to just delay my project for 2 months. read more

I had a poor experience with this company. A consultant initially came to my house to assess my front yard which I was interested in fully redoing. He essentially laughed at my $5,000 budget and estimated that it would cost around $15,000. He also said my irrigation would need to be completely replaced. I paid a $250 deposit (for the drawing) and he said he would get back to me in a few days with the completed design and a bid for the work. Several days later, nothing. I called Oasis and it turns out the guy was fired. I get that sometimes there are issues with employees so I decided to give them another chance. I took more time off work for another guy to come out and assess the yard. He told me there is no way it would cost $15,000 and my irrigation looked good. He also said he would get back to me in a few days with the design which he said he would expedite since it had been several weeks since I put the deposit down. This consultant didn't come back to review the plan for several weeks...I kept calling and he said it would be just a few more days and that they were really backed up. Ok..I get that but I am starting to lose my patience at this point. He finally comes back out to my house and we review the drawing. This drawing is nothing like the drawings on their website. This was a 2-D black and white sketch with the names of the plants. I am not a landscape expert so how was I supposed to envision what my house would look like? He maybe spent 10 minutes reviewing the design and bid and bragged about the huge projects he has been working on with 50-100k budgets which is why he is so behind. I told him to send me the drawing in color and I would get back to him with a decision on the bid (which was still 2k over budget). He also said for my inconvenience that 250$ would suffice for the drawing instead of the normal 500$ (how nice...) I emailed him multiple times to get the sketch in color and finally he sent it. I didn't even like some of the plants but I was so fed up that I basically just took the 250$ loss for the crappy drawing and walked away. This company treated me so poorly and it was such a terrible and stressful experience. Some of the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Be careful spending your money here... read more

I like to support local companies, so it is difficult for me to give a bad review. However, I have no choice when it comes to this company. Bottom line is I paid them several thousand dollars to fix an irrigation problem that was never fixed. I will now need to hire someone else. After several attempts, I gave up on trying to get them to fix the problem. They came back once, but did not solve the issue. Look elsewhere to spend your landscaping dollars. read more
