    Nachos Festival

Authentic is the word use to describe Oasis food. Amazing authentic Mexican that warms your taste buds up every time you eat it. Oasis offers dine in and carry out options. I have only carried out their food and it was still fresh when I brought it home. I ordered their nachos with chorizo and their steak tacos. The nachos were incredible! They were loaded with meat, cheese, veggies, and their chips were super crispy. The steak tacos were amazing as well. I ordered them with just cilantro, onion, and lime. Every bite made me want more and more of them. When you order their tacos, you get 2 per order with your choice of flour or corn tortilla and American or Mexican style. If you are in the mood for good authentic Mexican food then Oasis is the place for you!

Wet Burrito with Chicken and Green sauce, plus chicken nachos in the background.

Great food, nice people and good little place. The wet burrito with chicken and green sauce was excellent. Watch out for the pico it has a kick. I'll be back!

    Tamale entree ($14.95)

My experience here was fine. This restaurant is the size of a post stamp, so if you're coming with a large group make sure you make a reservation. I decided on the tamale entree, with one being pork and one being chicken. The pork was tasty, juicy and spicy, but the chicken was dry and somewhat flavorless. The black beans on the side were fine but the rice was a bit dry as well. I think it would have been better to just order the tamales a la carte for significantly cheaper than getting the entree. The prices here are very steep, most ranging around $15 for things you could get at most other restaurants for about five dollars less. If you're in the area I can see this place being convenient, but it's not worth traveling for. It's alright. On a side note, it's byob which I appreciate, and they will provide you with margarita mix if you want. The margaritas other patrons were making looked pretty good, gotta say I was a bit jealous as I drank my beer.

Wet Burrito with red sauce. Very good

Enjoyed our dinner here, party of four. 1. Go here for the quality and portions of food. Very good. 2. There IS free street parking around 3. Get the churros for dessert! 4. It is BYOB! You can bring drinks They serve some chips and dips to start. Tried the tamale and chicken nachos for apps- both good. The chicken on the nachos was great. I loved the wet chicken burrito with red sauce; very big, couldn't finish after eating the apps. Tried the fajitas and the grilled veggies were amazing. And, of course, the hot crispy churros with the ice cream was the best of all. You gotta try this place if you want good Mexican food!

The food and service are always spot on here at Oasis. The Burrito's are my favorite choice for takeout and their Fish Tacos with Mahi-mahi an excellent choice and my go-to for eat-in meal. Try one of their daily specials, they are a great choice as well and arr creative and delicious. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portions and the service is always friendly and helpful. Be sure to check out Taco Tuesday here. The restaurant space is small but smartly decorated and inviting and comfortable. They have tables available outside in the warmer weather. Don't forget to bring your Corona's or other favorite beer or wine as Oasis like all of Collingswood restaurants, is a BYOB.

I asked my carne asada "medium".... but it was raw.

We stopped at this place on 2/28/2021 for lunch because of the many good reviews. However, I would not recommend this place at all. First, they never gave us utensils or napkins, we had to ask for them. When they did bring our utensils, the fork was filthy... rice and other residue. Second, the I asked my carne asad medium ("ribeye") and it was not medium... it wasn't even rare; it was raw. Third... this is the worst part. The rice and beans (very small portion) that came with my entree, has a tiny piece of metal wire - probably from a sponge or other cleaning tool. I didn't get a chance to take a picture of that before they took it away and gave me a new one. Needless to say, I lost my appetite and wasn't able to even finish my meal. The lady up front was very nice, but the cleanliness, safety, and quality of the food was terrible. My wife enjoyed her tostadas but as far as my meal, it was terrible , unfortunately. I want to add that after expressing my disappointment, the restaurant removed the entree from my bill.

    Chicken Fajitas

Went to this great Mexican place to day and we had a feast of wonderful foods. Everything was fresh and homemade authentic Mexican food. We had chicken fajitas and potato and chorizo quesadilla. Both dishes were excellent and tasty. Fresh guacamole and nachos were also terrific! Their sauces were slightly spicy and tasty. We had churros and banana pajamas and flan for dessert. All very tasty. The churros were crispy and soft on the inside. I would probably use another frier for desserts that needed frying because they tend to take on the flavor of the foods. The flan was not your traditional flan but a unique version that was homemade. It had more a consistency of cinnamon cheesecake than custard but was good. Service was good and professional with mask. Very nice Mexican place that I will go back again.

Steak & chicken tacos were declious! I am very picky when it comes to steak but here they were juicy and tender! I didn't love some items but others I did. I would definitely recommend giving this place a shot !

Small corner restaurant serving authentic Mexican food down at the quiet end of Haddon Ave in Collingswood. Ordered the chicken and fish tacos. Both were well prepared with fresh ingredients. Very friendly service.

    Chicken burrito lol

Pretty good! I got the wet burrito and my partner got the fajitas and we both enjoyed. The portions are definitely good. They give you chips and a variety of salsas as a stater which is nice. Overall the burrito could of used a little bit more flavor but the fajitas were great, we would go back.

Located on the main strip on Haddon Ave, we wound up here quite by accident. When we walked in, and it was funeral parlor empty. The inside is nice, spacious and super clean, but zero customers had us feeling "uh oh." But our server came around the corner and ushered us into an adjoining room, equally as nice, that had a few other patrons dining. Fears alleviated, we sat down and got to ordering. The menu is great, with something from everyone. We got the birria burrito for me, lobster tacos for the Misses, mac and cheese for the Little One, and a side of Sweet Plantains for everyone. FIRST, god lord almighty....them sweet plantains are MAGICAL! They taste like French Toast. OMG......SOOO good. The rest of the food had an extremely high bar to live up to, and it did. Everything was fast, fresh and delicious. Even the price was tolerable. Our server was extremely nice, though I wish he would have written stuff down, as we had to remind him a couple of times about our requests. No biggie. We will, 100% be back, and if it's anything like last time, I have a feeling Paloma will be moving onto the 5-Star list quickly.

The weathers are a nice addition as well for the fall/spring. Only two downsides are I wish they offered more beers in 16 ounce pours (they have 50+ on draft but typically only offer 20 or so in 16 ounce pour, the rest are 12 ounce) and that the TVs weren't blaring for some of the sports events. Mother's Day brunch at Sabrina's Café with my beautiful daughter We made sure to get there early…read morebecause if you know anything about this neighborhood gem, you know they don't take reservations. This wasn't my first time at Sabrina's, so I already knew the service would probably be a little different with the Mother's Day rush -- and understandably so. Overall, the food was still good! We started with their Blueberry Lavender Lemonade, made with blueberry and lavender, then garnished with fresh blueberries and lemon. It was so refreshing and honestly one of my favorite parts of the meal. For our entrées, I ordered the Shrimp & Grits and added salmon, while my daughter got the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl. For appetizers, we tried one of their "Heated Rivalry" May specials: Shane Hollander's Jambalaya Benedict. It came with shredded potato waffles, two poached eggs, fried shrimp, Creole sauce, smoked beef andouille sausage, pico de gallo, and green onions. Now listen... it looked AMAZING on the menu and had so much potential, but the taste was a little underwhelming for me. The dish came out room temperature, almost like it had been sitting for a while, and I really think it would've hit differently if it had been served hot -- especially the potato waffles. Still, I understand they were extremely busy and trying to accommodate everyone during the holiday rush. Sabrina's is definitely still a local favorite that I'll continue to support. Overall rating for this visit: 8/10

My young son really enjoyed this. The fried buttermilk chicken was so on point that we ordered a second one as a side dish. Likewise the buttermilk chicken sandwich was great. I added bacon which was a good call. I would have liked the bacon a bit crispier and I think raw spinach rather than sautéd spinach would have helped the chicken stay crispier. We also order pancakes. The pancakes were super big. I'm talking dinner plate big. Unfortunately the taste did not live up to the big size. The texture was off putting and the flavor was strange. As for ambiance, it can get a bit loud since it is essentially and empty room with only a little decoration. They do have a small outside eating area which was quieter and could be quite nice on a day with comfy temperatures. All in all it was a good experience and we would go back again.
