There is a bit of a wait, but with them taking your name/ number and texting you when it is ready, it makes it super convenient to check out other vendors/food trucks. I didn't hear mine, so my mother-in-law politely asked about our order. Instead of simply checking, the young man at the front responded with an attitude and repeatedly pointed out that our name had already been called. When my mother-in-law then asked for napkins, he visibly rolled his eyes. I understand that food trucks can get busy, but there's no reason to treat customers that way--especially when the environment makes it easy to miss your order being called. A little patience and courtesy would have gone a long way. The food was okay, but the customer service left a much stronger impression, and unfortunately, not a positive one.

Even the employees wear white uniforms and white chef hats. Originally, I was confined this restaurant was going to be a cheap knock-off. Ordering is done through an in-store kiosk. Although I was skeptical using the computer screen, I found it easy to navigate and was able to fulfill my lunch order without requesting any assistance. The meal took a few minutes to arrive, but that was because the servers were freshly making it on the spot. I started to get a good feeling as I witnessed the chefs in action. As soon as I took my first bite, I realized I was mistaken about my initial impression. All tacos are prepared with fresh ingredients with a smoky flavor. The shells are soft and doughy. Juices from the protein slightly compromised the appearance, but the taste is fantastic! There is a salsa bar offering complimentary toppings for your tacos. Limes, pickled onions, and three flavors of salsa are an option. The seating is kind of tight, but it's meant to be eaten in a fast paced atmosphere. My order total was roughly $20 after taxes, tip, and a random $1 online ordering fee. Since I added so many sides, I decided to check on my order when I picked it up. The sides were correct, except I erroneously ordered queso fresco instead of queso blanco (womp), but the tacos were covered in tomatoes. They corrected it and made me fresh tacos in just a few minutes, which I appreciated. My first bite into the tacos tasted like pure salt. Unfortunately, they didn't get any better. They were also pretty greasy, and my stomach wasn't a huge fan by any means. I ordered them with hard shell tacos, which was an upcharge, and they tasted way overcooked. All told, I just didn't enjoy the dish. The chips were extra salty too. I heard the rice was good though. I'm probably being generous with a 3-star rating, but I'm hoping it was just a bad night for them. It does seem like this spot is hit or miss based on other reviews here. I wouldn't be opposed to trying them once more on a future trip to Jersey, maybe next time I'll do a sit-down dinner, as their dining space looked quite nice and they even had outdoor seating too.
