Where to begin. I called to make an appt and they said to come in. I waited 15 minutes just sitting in the chair. Not awful but I could've run an errand in the time it took me to get here and wait. Then after she started my pedicure she stopped after cuticle work to paint someone else's nails. Then when she put the hot towels on, she went to get ANOTHER person and started her pedicure. I went to oasis nail spa at 4:00 and was there up until 6:00. People during my appointment came and went but still, my sister and I who had been there first, and didn't have any intricate design in mind. First of all, the quality of the nails are actually HORRIBLE. I have had bad quality nails in the past but to be honest, nothing compares to these. The nail "artist" while drilling cut mine and my 11 year olds sisters fingers, causing bleeding and irritation. Secondly, they put the acrylic on very lumpy and uneven. Also, painting a nail seems like the easiest job, until you go to oasis. They got paint all over my fingers and hands and I cannot even describe how irritated I am. Yes, in their defense they were quite busy, but in order for this company to succeed, they need to put their quality and efficiency first. This is not the first time Ive been to this place, and honestly, it was one of my go to spots, but after this experience, I will NOT be returning. The whole vibe was off from the very beginning and I should've trusted my gut. 130 dollars down the drain!!! read more

First incident: If I could put negative stars on my experience here I would. I asked for acrylic nails, and he asked if I wanted long tips. I miss understood what he meant by long tips because I never get long nails. Even after I asked for acrylics he assumed because I wasn't getting "long nails" that I meant gel dips. I questioned why he wasn't putting on fake nails (acrylics), and he stopped and sighed. He continued to fight me to prove his point, instead of fixed the misunderstanding. Regardless, the customer is always right! When they are not happy with a service, the employee should never try to prove the customer wrong and he did exactly that. Incident two: When I go to get pampered I don't want to feel like I am being rushed. Oasis nails did exactly that! Starting with my big toe design they couldn't take the time to create the art I originally wanted so I settled for polka dots. The polka dots came out horrendous, and after being rushed through my pedicure where they didn't fully scrub my feet I was still being rushed out the door. The salon closes at 7pm, but at 6pm the employees were frustrated that my friends and I were still there so two of the employees made a point to start cleaning while my toes were still drying. While they swept and mopped the floor under my wet toes, all the employees kept talking about me. I did not feel welcomed and I will never return. Third: While I was getting my pedicure another worker was doing my nails. This was not comfortable because I had to completely turn my body to one side, and the worker made me turn off the massage chair. I couldn't enjoy my massage because they were still rushing to finish, instead of taking the hour left to make the customer happy. On top of that I had to ask my manicurist to do my cuticles, which automatically comes with every manicure. Fourth: I had to ask for water at the beginning, and ran out of it quickly. I was not asked if I needed any more nor did I want to speak up again. Fifth: The water when I first put my feet in was scorching. The lady giving me the pedicure didn't completely scrub the bottom of my feet or fix the cuticles on my toes either. I have never been so displeased in my entire life with a business. I will not being returning in the future, and will warn everyone to stay away. This is my first yelp review because it was such an awful experience so I needed to take the time to do it. I really wanted to like this place, it was a convenient location, and so I took my Daughter and Sister here for a surprise girls day treat while I'm here visiting Omaha. I don't understand why it's so difficult for nail technicians to just follow the "rules" of applying Gel Nail polish. They would polish two fingers on one hand, then have you put it under the lamp to cure it, while they would start on the second hand, Do 3 nails, and then back to the first hand, and so on....So odd. Then they forget what they've done- and some nails end up with 3 coats of gel- and some with 2. Very sloppy. As a Spa Owner myself, I do know a thing or two about treatment protocols. When applying gel polish to the nails- you have to remove all oil from the nail in order for the gel to cure properly- otherwise it moves away from the cuticle, leaving sides of the nail unpolished. When I addressed this, because my daughters nails looked AWFUL, the nail technician "corrected" me and told me that my daughters skin was "too oily" ...... This was ALMOST comical. Then to add insult to injury, this nail technicians "regular" client showed up, so she got up and just left my daughter sitting there. She didn't excuse herself, nor tell my daughter she'd be right back. She just left her there for several minutes, while she tended to her regular client, setting her up, Talking to her, AND then came back to finish my daughters nails. She acted inconvenienced when I told her she needed to get my daughters nails finished correctly- and she didn't speak to either one of us again. Also, we did call ahead for appointments- and they told us to come on over. We waited for 1/2 an hour at the stations they sat us at waiting, while they ran back and forth between clients. I understand not wanting to turn away business......BUT you also won't get repeat business when you treat people this way. Don't herd us in like cattle. That's what it felt like. They were understaffed. There was a man that worked there that was very nice, and polite. He smiled a lot and thanked us for coming in. But the attitude of the one nail technician- and the inconsistency of the nail service was just subpar. You can do better. Not sure where. Just not here. read more

Kept slamming my foot down on the footrest.. tried to make my foot bend in a way that was not natural and the massage he gave me was horrible. No pressure. Just not a good experience. Every time I come here I truly try to love this place, but every time I come here it's a race to the finish. My mom and I went to go get two pedicures. I called before and she said to come. She did not take a name or anything. We showed up and it was amazing. Then as other customers started coming in they started rushing through our pedicures. My tech cut my toe up, scrubbed my foot so hard it was sore, and then rushed through our $45 pedicure. When I was leaving I noticed he missed a whole part of my toe while painting, and all my toe nails are uneven. I walked into the salon at 3:10 pm and my nails were finished by 3:27 pm. Talk about rushing through a job... I got shellac done and the lady only did two coats of white polish, in certain lighting you can definitely see through the color. Not only did it feel like they were rushing me out the door but she didn't even ask if I wanted a certain nail shape or another layer of polish. Overall a sloppy job in my option and not worth $36. I was told it was to much work to fix a problem I noticed with a pinky nail.. the tech begrudgingly fixed it after I said something again.. then I noticed my pointer fingers were different lengths before acrylic went on.. was told it was fine I just have crooked fingers. After acrylic I said something again.. was told again it was just fine it would look the same when it was done..... Still uneven.. and the tech didn't even offer to fix it. (There's kind of a happy ending) i went here today and I've gotten acrylics many times but I've never had such a painful experience! She accidentally filed my skin so hard it started bleeding and i have an open little cut on my finger now! By the time i noticed it wasn't just the usual accidental rub on the skin & it was burning, she had stopped. Looks like a deep paper cut! Numerous times through out were a little painful.. she drilled on my real pinki nail and i felt a burning sensation. After that I had a red divot in my nail that was tender for a minute.. The end result was really good though... what is it they usually say? No pain no gain?! read more

The guy refused to let me do a regular shellac manicure, made me try the new powder dipping version of it but gave it to me for the price of the "old style" shellac. Didn't soak or trim my cuticles, just used the electric filer. After it was all done the tips of my nails were really rough and scratchy and were filed very unevenly and the polish is see through in a few places. read more

My teen daughter went to Oasis with a friend to get acrylics. She has been there before and had a great experience, which is why she convinced her friend to try it. But this time she came home very disappointed. Her color was applied haphazardly--some on the skin around her nails, and they were rough. One nail even had a hair painted into it. She had pointed it out, but the technician dismissed it. She said her friend's nails were even worse! I ended up taking her back in and complaining. The pricing is reasonable, the people are friendly. They are usually able to get walk-in's seated fairly quickly, which is nice. I had an acrylic fill, and pedicure, and both were great. The massages that were given to me (both feet and hands) were FANTASTIC! They really make you feel pampered in that aspect. Their spa/massage chairs are comfortable, and overall they keep the salon clean. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is simply because they do not have a large nail polish selection. I wanted my nails painted. I was told by the owner two of my nails were too short. He said he would put on tips for me. It was not what I wanted and had no idea he was charging me $40 to do it. He was in such a rush to get done he was filing my nails so hard I yelled out "ow" a couple of times. After leaving I noticed blood on my hand. Eight out of ten fingers had cuts around one or both fingers. I was concerned about these open cuts ecspecially after I saw him grab tools from the table he used on the previous customer. Didn't repair my cuticles even after I brought it up. He just grabbed the electric filer which he just used on the previous customer. While sitting there I never saw them sterilize the foot tubs between customers. I went back there to discuss my concerns. They were rude and not apologetic. I will never go back again. read more

my friend got her nails done here while i watched. the employee was in a rush and careless. so much so that the nail fell off while he was filing he replaced it (obviously). the end result was really lumpy and weirdly textured. it was probably over 15 minutes. i on the other hand got mine done at Lush Nails and they did acrylics, took their time and had wayyy better quality then Oasis (FOR THE SAME PRICE). just FYI, good reviews come with taking your time. read more

Close to my home & easy to get in. If you call to make an appt they will just tell u to come in, which is odd. Everyone is Vietnamese so their English is poor and limited. They do what so many others do, talk 90mph in their own language to each other instead of focusing on their customers. This drives me crazy and it's just rude, but they are a different culture so what do you expect. Their prices are good and even though they may try to upscale you to the new powder it's not that expensive and looks nice. I'm not sure why one review said she was forced as she could e said "NO". Anyway, the business is clean, they sterilize their equipment and have a fairly good selection of polishes. They use OPI and another brand I wasn't familiar with. If you do the powder route your colors are limited but you still can find a shade close to what you are wanting. For what you pay it is worth it, now if they charged any more then I would say no way. Think of this place like going to get your nails done in the mall. read more

Spent 40 minutes waiting for a pedicure which wasted my entire lunch hour and because I had to get back to work I had to leave after they were going to charge $20 just to paint my toes no other extras! Nowhere in Omaha have I waited that long for a pedicure. This was me giving them a second chance too. Previous to that I went in and a guy did a horrible job on my nails. I left with cut and bleeding cuticles and a poor job on the "dipping" which I feel they force you to do. Excellent service, if you have to wait a few minutes, it is worth it. I am a regular and make appointments which is easier for me but I have seen walk-in's wait no more than 10-20 minutes and that is on a Saturday when they are packed with regular appointments. I have checked nail spa's in my area and they do not provide all the services that Nancy and Lee do with their business. The salon is very clean, the tech's are knowledgeable and also very nice. Pricing is very fair and if you have a problem they are more than willing to take care of you. Make sure you show up early enough before closing to get the full benefits of their service. read more

I went in there on 08/01 to get a pedicure. I had a $20 gift card. Total bill was $18.00. No one in the store, except for one girl, knew how to ring up a gift card. I asked her to add $5 for a tip. My sister, mom and I took my niece (who is almost 3) to get her nails done for the FIRST time yesterday. My mom, sister and I each got shellac manicures, and my niece was to get her nails and toes just painted. We experienced the worst customer service from the nail tech that was doing my sisters nails. (They made us all go first and made my niece wait - which was not what we had asked for. We wanted the day to be special for her and to be about her.) The tech that was doing my sister's nails rushed through hers and was shaking his head the entire time and was talking to his co-worker, clearly about my niece being a little wiggly. The guy that was doing my nails was GREAT! and was interacting with my niece and being very kind - the guy that was doing my sister's never said a word to my sister or my niece. After my sister was done, the guy said something to the owner and the owner came over and said "Oh, she is not ready, she's too tired." (reference to my niece) My niece had been looking forward to getting her nails done ALL day and was so excited and LOVES to get her nails painted. This was supposed to be a special day and they didn't care about that at all. I will never and would never recommend anyone to go here because of this experience. We went to another place down the road and they were so sweet and kind with my niece and she had a blast and was perfect the whole time - all was good in the end but we should not have been told "No, she is not ready" by a place of business when parents/family know best. read more

Everytime I get a fill, I get the owner (man) he is so rough and in a hurry. He burns my cuticles and never gets polish on the far sides of my nails. I recently had 2 tips replaced and they are crooked. On the plus side, on pedicures I always get somebody else and I think they do a good job on massages. I been other places where they are way less then expected. Just disappointed on my fills, even when he pulls your skin away form the nail he is just too rough. His hands are very rough too. I think they need a better selection of nail polish. Also I noticed when soaking your shellac off they have you soak your hand in bowls, from what I have observed those bowls do not actually get washed just rinsed so your nail cells go on to the next person. Also I just noticed their foot brushes for pedicures....they were rinsed out in the water that I had my feet in. So as my feet were soaking he was rinsing out the foot brushes but never ran clean water....don't think I'll go back there. read more
