I've been going to Oasis every two weeks for probably over a year now. I'm super picky where I go. It seems like most places leave bubbles in your nails (biggest pet peeve with shellac) or leave tons of extra dead skin even after a manicure. Oasis's manicures are always SUPER clean, and I rarely ever end up with any bubbles in my nails. After two weeks my nails aren't even peeling yet. I asked for some of the worst looking ones to be redone, and instead of soaking off the shellac, the woman aggressively filed my natural nails with an electric drill. Maria did my nails and she made sure they looked good from beginning to end. She is also who does amazing eyebrows! I've been debating on if I wanted to post this or not but I'm actually kinda upset. I've been coming here for years and have always been satisfied with the previous owners but within the past year or two they sold their business to new owners. I showed my nail tech (man with longer hair) what I wanted my full set to look like he agreed and did it. Didn't cut my nails or push my cuticles which I thought was weird but whatever. Then he told me he was done with my nails and when I looked at them he didn't do the designs on them that I wanted even though I showed him a picture before he started. He said that I never said any of that to him but quickly remembered when I showed the picture again. He said he can't do that now and that it would be extra anyways... okay I'm willing to pay for it be done? He could tell I was fairly upset but I'm not one to yell at a worker. He eventually agreed to at least put on the rhinestones for free before I left. Fast forward to a couple weeks later when I wanted to get them taken off I went there again and my new nail tech I believed was the manager? She was super nice and all but to get your nails off it is $10, now the old owners would charge you $10 to get them taken off and they would also paint your nails really quick as part of the price. She said that if I wanted my nails painted it would be extra and being the broke college student I am said no, that's okay. She got the nails off which was painful but she also "filed" them. They were jagged super bad, I'll attach pictures, just zoom in and you'll see what I mean. I didn't really notice how bad they were until I left and I had to redo them at home which I feel like I shouldn't have to do if I just paid for it??? Pictures are attached. read more

Had a long wait, although we did go 3 days before Christmas so it is to be expected. I got dipped nails and they are subpar. They are bumpy, sticky, and rigid. My mom got a French pedicure and they made her bleed. She clipped too much skin on the side of the nail, didn't say anything, and covered it with nail polish. Then, she was using a dremmel nail file and ripped off her cuticle. It was a very bad pedicure overall. My sister got dipped white nails and all she can say are, "bad." Service was terrible but the people were extremely nice. read more

Brian Loc is amazing and has a good since of humor. Not awkward to talk to. He is a perfectionist with my nails and I really appreciate that. The price is more than fair. I would only suggest new chairs for the manicures, they are pretty torn and worn. Adding to review one week later: my nails started breaking the very next day. I don't know if the solution used thinned them out or something. The gel nail polish started to chip after about 4 days. When I have gotten this done at other places, it usually lasts almost 2 weeks before the nail polish chips. Bummer. read more

Very crappy, terrible people. I had an appointment which he cancelled. Okay, no problem I thought. Things happens. I show up the next day to my new appointment and he's working on a different client. I have a splitting headache but my nails need to look nice (not just for frivolous reasons. For my job. ) I wait, I wait. He finishes with other client. Starts to prepare pedicure station and I tell him I just need a manicure. He's angry. "U sure u no want pedicure" yes, sir, I am sure. "No u want" no sir. I do not "u say u want" Sir. Thank you. But I don't need one. Manicure only. He huffs then goes to his break room. He's in there 20 minutes then comes out with his frickin keys and a pack of cigs. I give a confused look. The lady looks at him, pointing at me, and I can only assume saying in their language that I've been waiting for now almost an hour. He rolls his eyes at her holding up his pack of cigs, assuming he's telling her he will do it after he smokes. He then leaves. I tell them that he's an ass and the lady tries to say she's sorry and for me to wait but heck no, I walk out. There are some good reviews here but its hit or miss. look at all the other bad reviews. Similar situations as mine. Just don't go, OK? Don't come here. These people are garbage. read more

I came here a couple of times, I will NOT be back. The Last time I was there they acted like they hated their jobs. Very lethargic. Each of them had the same attitude! The long haired guy was so irritated that I couldn't understand him! And the dressed up girl was talking to the person that walked (asking questions about pedicures etc.) she was answering them with a mask on! And therefore had to repeat herself several times! Made this place my "go to" a few months back after having a great first time experience. Well, unfortunately I won't be back here to get my nails done as the last time I was there (about a month ago) the nail tech literally rushed me out of the seat, didn't give me my full manicure, pretty much just changed my nail polish color...so needless to say I won't be returning and have since returned to my original home (Luv Manicure) where it's a little more pricer but the services are whole lot better! read more

This salon is interesting to rate because they do a decent nail job, but their customer service is lacking. If that's important to you, then I wouldn't recommend them. Allow me to share my story as an example--I called at 3:30 PM and asked if they were busy (I needed a manicure with shellac). I was told they currently were not, but they would be in 20 minutes, or so. Fine. I live 1 mile away. I packed my 2 children in and was there at 3:45. THERE WAS 1 CUSTOMER GETTING HER NAILS DONE, which left 2 of the 3 workers available. I was told to pick my color and sit at a station, which I did. After I was seated, the 4 PM appointment came in which was 3 women (2 for pedicures and 1 for a fill-in). They arrived slightly early at 3:50 PM, to which the head nail lady asked them "are you sure you have appointment?" And when their spokeswoman said "Yes?..." and began saying what they were there for, the head nail lady finished their sentence for them, like she already knew. Odd, right? Why challenge them in the first place? Well, after this peculiar interlude, the head nail lady comes over to me SITTING AT MY STATION, and KICKS ME OUT, saying, "Sorry, the appointment's here, so you wait now or come back." I was just taken aback by this. Even the spokeswoman for 4 PM appointment found this shocking & rude was like "Um, it's OK, you can do her nails first. That's totally fine," to which the nail lady just said "No..." and then trailed off saying something in Vietnamese to her coworker. Sure, I could have given her a piece of my mind, but, I was just so shocked by it all (and had my children with me), that I just left and will never be back--and that's a shame. I've been coming here for a couple of years now. They know me & I know how they operate. They were NOT busy by their standards, even with me + the 3 women for the 4 PM appointment. I've waited PLENTY of times with a scheduled appointment because they either overbooked, or took too many walk-ins, but I have NEVER seen them tell a person who's already picked a color and sitting at a station to get out the seat. This was personal. I think they don't like that I bring my 7 month old with me, but I'm a busy full-time RN, wife, & mother--sorry, not sorry, that I travel in a pack & fit my manicures in when I can. Nevertheless, I didn't deserve to be treated that way, and neither do you. Just consider my story a fair warning--You never know if you'll be their next unfavored customer. read more

Came here the first time without an appointment and they turned me away even though there were technicians available. I accepted it because it was my fault I didn't make an appointment. Next time I made an appointment in advance and said on the phone I just wanted a plain manicure, she asked if I wanted shellac. I said no, but I do have dip on my fingers currently. She said that was no problem. I then go in when my appointment was set, and the lady at the front says they can't remove my dip they can only remove shellac.... I explained how it was discussed on the phone with no issues, she then brought the girl up that took my appointment and she straight lied to her face and said she stated they never do dip. The staff was so helpful with picking out a nail color that I needed for a wedding. My nails looks amazing! At one point I started feeling light headed and everyone was beyond kind and opened the door and even gave me a cold water. They went above and beyond and I am so thankful for them. read more

I had been a customer there for 17 years. Brian and Lonni were great owners. Great nails. They couldn't have been kinder. The new owners are rude, all regular employees are gone. They are now charging to remove old set of nails even when they put them on. Henry is gone. I will NEVER go back. Found a great nail shop on telegraph and ford road in Dearborn heights. Shop was disgusting, stuff was rude. I'm pretty sure I saw a cockroach on run across the store while I was getting my pedicure. When I informed the staff about it they told me I was seeing things. Staff also tried used dirty appliances when doing my nails and feet. My friend even ended up getting an infection from this salon. I went in to get a full set for the holidays. I was really pleased with the price it was only $23 for a full set and color. I've never had that done before. So I didn't know what to expect. The first attendant that did the full gel and the set of acrylics was very friendly and very talkative. The atmosphere was friendly and small. However, the gentleman that did the actual color did not talk to me at all, he didn't listen to what I asked for, and he didn't seem very friendly. Overall it was quite a long wait and a very quiet atmosphere. I would have liked a more friendly open talkative place. I especially would have liked them to listen to what I asked for. read more

I have finally found a nail salon I will continue to go back to! After having many bad experiences at multiple nail salons (Wonder Nails on Warren Road in particular) I decided to trust the good reviews for Oasis Nails & I'm so glad I did. Friendly staff, warm environment, & nice management. My nails always turn out exactly as I want them - absolutely no complaints. Everyone seems to ask for Brian. He is absolutely wonderful but I haven't had an issue seeing anyone else. FYI- this place gets busy! Especially on Saturday mornings. But I don't consider that a bad thing. It means I'm not the only one who thinks Oasis is great. Try them out! You won't be disappointed. read more

I used to come here every two weeks but last time I went I waited for more than an hour which wouldn't be a problem if they didn't start with people that came after me.
