This is a late post. After reading some of the other posts I'm compelled to add my two cents. My husband selected this venue for his 50th birthday party in September 2017. I too recall when the building was Kid's Castle and I hadn't been there since then...years ago. At first I'll admit I was a bit skeptical. But during the initial walk-thru it was apparent that they paid great attention to details related to decor and the layout of each hall/room. My husband made his decision and followed up with additional visits with Nirav for food tasting as well as a final walk-thru hours prior to the event to make sure everything was up to our standards. Any concerns my husband expressed during that "day of" visit were fully resolved by the start of the event that evening. My biggest pet peeve is a lack of customer service. Businesses are quick to reel you in but once they cash the check they'll treat you as though you're invisible (euphemism). The Oasis staff was courteous and attentive. No dirty dishes lingering on tables. The food at the buffet remained available and hot. The chef came in, introduced himself and let us know he was available for anything we needed. All beverage dispensers were refreshed regularly. I was impressed! I seriously will let a business have it if I feel I'm not treated appropriately. Our guests were thoroughly satisfied. I haven't heard a single complaint from any of our guests. They loved the service. They loved the food and it was plentiful. We brought in our own DJ (shout out to DJ Hennessy) and we rented a pool table for the occasion from Video Amusement, Inc.. The Oasis Palace was cooperative and accommodating in that regard as well. All in all our family had a great and memorable time at the Oasis Palace. I'd definitely recommend them. We booked Oasis Palace in Sep 2018 to celebrate my wife's 40th (surprise) birthday . We really had a blast. Starting from planning the event, Nirav and team were very helpful helping us with ideas for the decor. We also had a photo booth and professional photographer that we had setup for us to capture memories. Nirav helped us with the setup for the same. Food , we had very good vegetarian options from the menu which the guests really enjoyed. The whole place is very clean, bright and well maintained. There were few other parties going on in the adjacent halls but still we got enough attention from Oasis folks. We hosted our son's high school graduation party at Oasis Palace. The management and staff were very helpful for the entire process. A big thanks to Nirav Ji who guided us through decorations and menu selection. We were very happy with the final look and the food was excellent. Very bad service. DO NOT book through Neerav. Absolutely rubbish man with no manners. - He will not return your calls after you pay booking amount till your event. You will always have to visit him to discuss arrangements. - He will charge unreasonable for the decoration and will change the decoration last minute if you question the prices. - will ask to pay in full before the event starts and then no person to attend at all while the event. You will have to go several times to call them for service. My experience- You can get better service, better halls, better food else where with same or lower prices. read more

I normally don't do reviews, but after we had our organizations party there at the oasis palace, I must say how well organized and efficient their staff was, their commitment to make event a successful with service and taking care of every little detail with out any extra cost, food was great and decorations they did for our party was wonderful. Ekal Vidhyalaya Foundation of Bay Area did a fund raiser at Oasis Palace Newark on May 5th 2018. It was a very successful event. As a volunteer with Ekal group, I observed that Neerav was very responsive and cooperative with our Ekal team. Terrible terrible experience. The guy on booking side Neerav never calls back. I called him to book for a party he talked 1st time nicely told me they have availability as well. and then we discussed that we will call back to finalized. And when I called I called 4-5 time and left voice mails, I waited for 2 days, the guy never called back. It seems like he is waiting to have a bigger party as our group is only short 80 people and their capacity is 120. This is so so unprofessional that person is continually calling to follow up for a party booking. We went here for a pre wedding party. I was a guest so not sure about prices or how helpful management was. The hall is nice with big bright chandeliers which makes your event elegant. Didn't give 5 stars because they make you leave at midnight and we party past midnight lol. read more

Service and food was great. The staff and management were very helpful in finalizing all event related details. Awesome ! Awesome !! Awesome !! We had our lil gals 1st birthday party at Oasis palace last weekend. Everything was amazing. For any party you need a big hall, party decorations and super yummy food. Everything they have. They have very good customer service and the Manager Nirav is such a co-operative human. He will never disappoint you for anything. Being a host you will always worried about the food and other services. Don't worry at all,just call and Nirav will guide you the best. They have several party halls,i think which can accommodate 50-60 to 200 people. They have a very nice play area for kids,so kids will never get bored. Me and my husband were little nervous for food as we never visited oasis before even though they have a lot of good reviews in Yelp. We discussed the same with Nirav and you know what happened, we end of having our dinner at Oasis on the 1st visiting day itself. The food was undoubtedly awesome. The quality and taste of food is awesome. Best part is they are little flexible for customer for the food selection,which is great !!!! We recently had our son's first birthday party. I would definitely recommend this place, overall we had a great experience. Mr. Nirav is the person who gave me the tour and explained everything about the venue. He has been extremely patient listening to all our requirements and giving suggestions. He showed few photos of previous parties to have an idea which was really helpful and also helped in deciding the menu. Food was really delicious specially their Papadi chat on appetizers. Absolutely a perfect and wonderful place to host any event. We had hosted my daughter's grad party, and it became the most memorable event of her life. Right from the process of selecting the banquet hall, to menu and decoration, it was an amazing experience with Mr Nirav from Oasis Palace and he ensured that he understands our requirement and in no time was able to suggest some nice ideas and designs and menu too which were in line to my teenage daughter's choice and expectations. I would give 10 out of 5 stars if I could! I am so glad we were able to find this place to host the engagement ceremony for my wedding. There is so much to say that I don't know where to begin. But I will start with what I liked the most about Oasis Palace Restaurant - their halls. Each hall is beautiful, spacious, and suitable for a large variety of occasions (weddings, birthday parties, anniversary dinners, etc.). The other thing I liked the most about this place was the fact that everything was so well-organized. From starting to finish, Mike-ji and Nirav-ji ensured that the entire process was seamless - from booking the actual venue, to a detailed explanation of the price breakdown, to free food-tasting from a large menu of delicious dishes, and finally, the process of choosing decorations. A huge shoutout to Nirav-ji for patiently sitting with us and helping us choose how to decorate our hall of choice for our special day. We couldn't have done this without him. This has become my most favorite place to hold a party. Have tried 3 different occasions from 50 to 80 people and has been the most satisfying place. Staff and service are excellent. I would suggest work with Nirav bhai. He helped make my Diwali party a few weeks ago, a grand success. His help on food selection, setup and quality was very involved and every guest admired it. We hosted the 50th Wedding anniversary of our parents. We had a couple of meetings prior to our event to finalize the details. During these meetings, we met Nirav from Oasis. He listened to our requirements and helped us pick the right hall within Oasis, individual food items, and decorations. He helped us relieve a lot of stress by making all the selections based on our budget and his experience. We kept our decoration budget limited and Nirav was able to give us great stage and table decorations in it. Being a Punjabi event, we are highly focused on the food and the stage for a dance. The appetizers and the dinner items satisfied every guest. They were served hot and tasted great. (Mango lassi could have been served in a better dispenser, as kids complained about it.) Nirav kept communicating with us during the event while managing other concurrent parties in Oasis. He gave some good suggestions at the peak of the party and we thank him for that. read more

Our family held two events at Oasis Palace: our Jaggo (or lady's sangeet) and our wedding reception. Since planning any large event has many moving parts, I felt it was appropriate to break out my experience with Oasis Palace. Planning: There were some aspects of planning these wedding events through Oasis Palace that I loved. Specifically, I liked their check sheet of options which showed the pricing. Food, decorating, and flowers could be purchased through Oasis. Check, check, and check. Sidenote: the stage furniture was not available at Oasis Palace. We had to handle that through a different vendor. That being said, we didn't enjoy stopping by Oasis to have follow up talks or discussions. Part of this was our problem because we live 90 minutes away from the location and could truly only be there on weekends - their busiest days of the week. This meant that all of our meetings with the two staffers (Mike and Nirav) were regularly interrupted by coworkers for questions or they had to tend to something. I had wished that some of our conversations would have been more productive via telephone or that there was a private meeting space that wasn't in everyone's path. I always felt confident that Nirav understood my vision and that Nirav and I could effectively communicate. I sometimes felt like Mike didn't see my vision and so he asked more questions. This made some of our communications overwhelming. I have personally wondered if Nirav would be a successful person for handling the sales meetings and Mike as a General Operations Manager for the staff. That's merely my own humble opinion. When it came to the final week before our wedding (you know, the really stressful one), we started receiving phone calls for clarification, or because the table numbers had been incorrectly calculated, or to notify us that something that we had been very specific about was not available. This was stressful because we had called a couple weeks prior to do so. Given that in mind, our two guys (Mike and Nirav) acknowledged the shortcomings and made an extra effort to really deliver on the event. It showed (I've attached photos). The events: The food was great and the location was beautiful! The flowers were much more abundant and beautiful than I had anticipated for the price. Although we (bride and groom) didn't get to eat much, we were told the food was spectacular. At the first event, the food was a tiny bit too spicy for our non-Indian friends and family. Certainly not unreasonable. We let Mike know, though, and the spice level was perfect for our reception. Overall, I would recommend Oasis Palace for your next event. The whole team really just wants to see your hopes and dreams come to life. That's a blessing in itself. read more

We organized our baby shower here couple of weeks back. Nirav, the banquet manager & his team was really supportive in having the place nicely setup & beautifully decorated. Even went extra mile to accommodate few of our last minute requests. They let us come the night before the event to setup some of our personalized decorations. I had one of my pre-wedding events (Sangeet) in one of the banquet spaces of Oasis and it was absolutely amazing! My event was held in the dance studio, and my (now) husband and I were so impressed with how the space was transformed into a beautiful party venue thanks to the uplighting, sound system, and stage that Oasis provided. We also had Indian food served buffet style, and the menu had amazing choices that were all super delicious. We would highly recommend their chaat here (my non-Indian husband likes to refer to them as "Indian nachos" in case that helps everyone understand what this dish is like) :) Their chaat is seriously some of the best we have ever had. I have actually been coming to Oasis Fitness for years (back when it was Kids Castle), and I have used the gym facilities and dance studio many, many times. The gym is full of great machines and there are plenty available, even when the gym gets super busy. The dance studio is a great space for any type of rehearsal and is connected to a great sound system which comes in handy. The owners of Oasis are wonderful and really care about their customers. I would totally recommend working with Oasis to book your next big event. All of their banquet spaces, including the dance studio, are full of these gorgeous custom chandeliers that add a great vibe to any event. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Manager Narive needs to be fired and never employed in a customer service related position ever again. Health department was also notified of their unsanitary ways of handling their food disgusting! He was screaming and cursing at us and snatching things out of our hands. Our event was very unorganized and delayed, the plates and utensils were dirty. I'm not sure if the owners of this venue are aware of the way their employees are treating their costumers and their lack of cleanliness, but I do warn all other people of this horrible experience. If you're willing to have chewing tobacco unintentionally spit on you while he's speaking and are willing to deal with a dirty venue and unorganized/rude manager, then by all means book your event here. read more
