Please beware of that place! I have never been in a hotel that bad. The rates were overpriced and the room was in bad condition. Filths were everywhere and it looked like it had never been cleaned. Cracks in walls, mold in shower, windows never been cleaned, everything is broken--water damage on the ceiling and wobbling ceiling fan. The door not closing tight. I canceled the reservation right away and now they give me the run around for my money. Please do yourself a favor and book someplace else or stay in the park. You thank me later !!!!! read more

We only ended up here by accident as I confused the name with another park I wanted to go to when in a panic to book. Booked 3 nights online...the owner(?) was kind enough to refund the difference of 2 nights and putting us in an over flow spot as they didn't have what I paid for. All that being said. It's probably the noisiest location from highway traffic of any place I've ever stayed. The park seems ok for a moderate place. Really didn't look around much. read more

I stopped with no reservation and was welcomed in. Emma and Mick were great hosts, working hard to fix the facilities up. I enjoyed a soak in the spa after dark and had great conversations with Mick. Toilet facilities are fine, showers need some work. Outdoor spaces and weather was fine for my visit and i will go there again. read more

Owner states he is no longer accepting discount cards from certain RV groups (PA). I can't think of any other reason to stay here if not for half price overnight stays. Totally unremarkable, and in the middle of nowhere. If you have other options I would choose them. read more

Just needed a place to sleep before an early morning work schedule in the area. They've got a pool, hot tub, and tennis court. Lots of vegetation on the grounds and surrounding area. Gated and secure. Very close to Salton Sea. Staff contacted me ahead to make sure they'd be around at my arrival time. WiFi code available, worked fine. Pet friendly. Pool and hot tub temperatures were ideal, it was so relaxing to swim the night before work. Restrooms were extremely clean. There is highway noise as the location is close to Highway 86, but the place is so pleasant I just shrugged it off. Other resort users were courteous and quiet. There's a small market just around the corner. About 10 miles to a restaurant. read more

Great find! Close to Anza Borrego Stat Park, Borrego Springs, Salton Sea visitor's center. There is a casino just down the road. This is a gated area so all can feel safe. There is a bit of road noise from highway 86 but tolerable. We had a huge pull through site. Plenty of room for our slides and toad. The rig parked on a level cement pad with the rest of the area all grass and fruit trees (pick what ever you like). We had a lemon, tangerine, grapefruit and oranges trees all within 1 or 2 sites. We received the Passport America discount and Mike fit us in at the last minute. We stayed for a week but wished our plans allowed longer! BTW, Mike is around all day with his dog as his sidekick. The entire park is dog friendly!! The pool and spa area are clean and run great. There is a group fire every night to help intro folks. Mike has coffee going in the office all day and baked cookies in the afternoon. The pond area is well kept and has camping right by it. Nothing overly fancy but everything feels warm and friendly. read more

Really loved this place. We got there around 7 and talked to Mike the manager and unfortunately an older couple had their RV breakdown so our spot wasn't available. $&@" happens so when it does what is important is how it's handled- he let us park across a row that was empty (we are 65 feet with rig and trailer) so we had a place for the night. Then we moved to the pull through the next day - did I mention they comped both nights. I would have gladly paid but Mike apologized profusely. Really chill- really no pool hours as long as you aren't crazy loud I imagine. Fire pit that the community gathered around on Saturday night. It's a Palm farm right next door and they are planting new palms around the park. If we are in the area we will definitely stay there again. read more

Long time tent camper, first time mingling with the RV bunch. Tent sites were basic, with fruit trees planted at each site for some decent shade. Came with two kids and they both really dug the air conditioned rec room. Location is surrounded by some kind of palm date farm or something, that gives you a weird surrounded by palm trees vibe, I guess that's the oasis part. BATHROOMS WERE IMMACULATE AND FULLY AIR CONDITIONED. Not much more can be said than that. read more

This RV Park is really nice, with lots to do if you're bored! First, the two things I didn't like: Irresponsible pet owners... even though there is a huge dog run, some guests let their dogs run around to pee wherever they wish, yes, even on other campers' property and some take the dogs to poo at the tent sites instead of the dog run- rules need to be explained. The other thing that didn't bother me much, but did keep my husband awake on first night was the amount of road noise, try to get a space away from the road. Now, everything else is wonderful: stocked catfish lake with rowboat adults can use to fish, no kidding! Tennis courts and recreation room, coffee and pastries in the morning, fire pit, gas grill, clean laundry, bathrooms and showers. Oh, and the wi-Fi was amazing, zero issues with that, better than any great hotel we've stayed in years! As mentioned in other posts, there are flies, so we'll bring some sort of fly traps next time, but there are no smells and they cover and dump the trash often; just nature, I guess. We stayed with a 34' RV and had no issues with the space as they all are level concrete slabs. Full hook ups, minus cable, but we have Roku/Amazon prime, so we were all set. Definitely a nice place and we recommend the Oasis Palms. read more

You get what you pay for and this park is adequate at best for the price. It is old and clearly in decline. Beware, the pictures and term resort are misleading. They cater to full time RV-ers and have very few rules for keeping sites clean and orderly. Many of the full timers have excessive junk, garbage, toys, vehicles, etc. Cluttering their sites. The residents and staff are pleasant, quiet, and respectful of your privacy and space. It is gated but you will need to pay a $20 CASH (no credit/debit) deposit for a key card. Well behaved dogs are allowed off leash but there are not many dogs in residence. There is a large dog run but it was VERY overgrown and we felt not usable due to insect and flea/tick concerns. Most important to note the water (sourced from a well) is NOT SAFE to drink or cook with due to excessive arsenic and fluoride. There are however 3 locations in the park with reverse osmosis filters to fill water jugs. The water is safe for bathing and dishes but does have a large amount of sediment and discoloration. It is severe enough that our onboard filter was not sufficient, it left rust colored residue in our porcelain toilet, and for the first time ever we had to add an inline filter as well. Laundry facilities are available but due to poor water quality we chose to do laundry in town. In addition California is in a severe water crisis yet leaking faucets are prevalent here and some full time residents run sprinklers at their sites. Two of these sprinklers near us ran around the clock for at least 48 hours straight. This park was sufficient for our needs for the week we were here, but I can not recommend it nor would I return. Fridge in the lounge, which also has a pool table, darts, games, books and television. FREE WiFi Outdoor BBQ by pool, for guests to use. Bonfire by the lake. Establishment is clean, bathrooms are well kept, campgrounds are maintained. Public outdoor places always cleaned up despite many guests not cleaning up after themselves. The staff is so kind and friendly. Willing to answer any questions and find you whatever you're looking for. Will be back, if not for Stagecoach for normal play! read more

DO NOT STAY HERE. The park looks absolutely nothing like the web site. The pool was not filled and the jacuzzi was very dirty. Every shared amenity space was in shambles. In addition to the park being in complete disarray, the park manager was extremely aggressive. We were traveling with children so I had my husband pull into our spot and I was in the process of walking to the office to check us in when the manager came chasing us down in his car. My guess is he was going 15-20 miles per hour inside of the park. He then proceeded to belittle us for not stopping in the office prior to going to our spot. He was very aggressively saying that there are signs everywhere stating to check in to the office first. There are no such signs. I do realize that is standard practice in most parks so I went up to the office and repeatedly apologized and let him know we did not want to start our stay off on the wrong foot. He then made some off the cuff comment about getting his shot gun out if it happened again. If it hadn't been so late, we would have let that night. We ended up leaving first thing in the morning. The only positive thing I can say about Oasis Palms RV Resort is that they refunded us with little resistance for the second night. read more

So I don't frequent ALOT of RV parks so I will review this place as a novice. We were here to set up base camp for Stagecoach 2013. It's about 30 mins from the grounds. After waiting 20 mins to get to your car and get off the grounds 30 mins doesn't seem like much more. The grounds itself was spacious and nice. We went on offseason so we basically had the whole place to ourselves. Mike and Ann were the managers of the place and man they were ridiculously hospitable. Basically let us do whatever we wanted. Music at the pool, NBA Playoffs in the lounge, dinner in the lounge, at all times of the day, free peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies, and smansy coffee. Not only that, they were super social and super pet friendly. They let our little pup Miles play in the pool with us. The pool a the lounge really feels like your own home. Lots of space, AC inside (CLUTCH!), pool table, direct tv on a plasma, full size pool, hot tub, full showers and stalls (3 each), laundry, karaoke. Overall a really welcoming vibe. I loved it. We will definitely come back next year. We are also thinking about getting a bunch of friends During the offseason and throwing a party there. Like an all out, loud as ish, come one come all party. Booked this place as it was convenient for some night photography I was doing. Upon arrival I was called back from the front desk in the dirty dingy lobby and into the manager's office. Beer, leftovers and cash laying all over his desk. I asked for a quiet space away from traffic and shaded as I would be sleeping during the day after photographing all night. After some hemming and hawing got a space up by the office but not shaded. Had to give $20 cash deposit for a key card to use the gate. Rusted shut cover on the AC hookup and no cap on the grey water drain, which was filled with trash. Place had a very, very run down look and feel. I came back at 4:00 am the night before check out, after being out doing Milky Way photorgraphy and wanted to hook up the water for a shower. My Water Hookup was tied to a sprinkler that was running at 4 in the morning. Went to bed at 5 and set an alarm for 10:40 to be out of here at 11. At 10 a.m. the manager was pounding on a camper door, apologizing to wake me up, but to remind me check out was in an hour and he had the place rented for Stagecoach Festival. Still stole 40 minutes of sleep for me and somehow I can't imagine there was a person waiting for my space among all the open spaces. I checked out and I went to the front at 11 to return the key card and collect my $20 deposit. Unfortunately the manager wasn't around and the office was locked. About 15 minutes later he showed up. Definitely should have stayed at Johnson's Landing RV Park. Restaurant right there, friendly people, much better view. Also closer to the places I was photographing anyway. Flies and ants! This place seems like it may have been nice in the past, but it's now under new management and in recovery mode, supposedly. We stayed in a popup camper and booked two nights. It's rundown and dirty. There are broken down lawn mowers strewn about. But, you could overlook those things, because you will wish desperately that you could get away from the flies and ants. The flies are horrendous, and swarm into your RV, car, or tent immediately. You'll spend a lot of time killing them before you go to sleep. I know we did. This place is in the middle of large agricultural plots. It's like staying at a farm in that sense... Flies and ants. The ants are so bad that your foot and leg will be covered in 5 seconds. We ran around stamping and waving our arms like lunatics. Abort, abort! read more

It's a shame zero stars is not an option. My wife and I have stayed here before for stagecoach with no problem. So this year we decided to do the same and we booked it nearly 4 months ahead of time. We booked our reservation for a campsite and got our confirmation. With less than a month before the stagecoach festival we got a call from Mike (the manager) that said they could not honor our reservation because it was a glitch and the price we got was too low. He then proceeded to tell us that our price would increase by $400 for the weekend. We told him we got the confirmation email and had already paid our 50% deposit. He said that the confirmation was no good because we found a "loop hole" I told him that was awful customer service and he needed to honor the price we had a confirmation for. He still continued to say he couldn't honor it and the owners would not allow it. While on the phone with him my wife went onto their website and booked yet another reservation for the same price we had originally booked. The "loop hole" price and he continued to say we had to pay the increased amount. The whole experience has been so bad and we haven't even made it to the campground yet. We are now saying somewhere else where someone actually appreciates their customers. Mike was so rude and disrespectful it was unbelievable. He is simply trying to rip people off to make a dollar. read more

Follow Up to this review- We received an email stating that our refund was processed and our reservation was cancelled. We had to be very squeaky wheels but in the end they did the right thing. If there was an option to do "negative stars" I would do it gladly. SO this "gem" of a place, happened to be in between our place in AZ and a trip to CA- we needed to book 1 lousy night en route between here and there, easy peasy NO BIG DEAL. So I booked my one night, got my receipt, clearly stating that the rate was $41 and we had paid a deposit of $21. Fine, Great. Imagine my surprise when a few days later I get a call from someone who says we were charged the wrong amount, it should be $60 .. what the effin ef??? Ok so I tell this charmer that we wished to cancel our reservation and get our deposit back.. Well you would have thought I was asking for the hope, bloody diamond! After explaining to me that somehow his booking system is screwed up.. and we never should have been able to book at that rate to begin with (how this is somehow my fault, is beyond me, but it seems super important to him, so important that he repeats is A BUNCH) he hints that somehow I 'bypassed" his system to score a fake rate.(I do have my receipt clearly showing the amount I agreed to pay, a receipt sent by THEIR system), for my 12 hour stay.. I ask for a refund, again, he tells me that he needs to speak to the owner, but that their policy is not to give refunds.. even if they screw up.. come on! I've been in sales and customer service for 3 decades. This place is the United Airlines of RV parks, I guess we have been re-accommodated, with a big screw you in the process.. AVOID this place like the plague unless you want to fall victim to MAGICAL rate manipulation, some screwball booking system and one mean mother trucker of a receptionist. read more

Great place to stay. The road noise from Hwy 86 is a little annoying, but you get used to it. Other than that, it's a really nice place, lots of grass, fruit trees, pond with fountain. What a treat! Sure this is camping (sort of), but with all of the fabulous amenities and wonderfully helpful staff/owners it does feel more like a resort. We stayed here for a Coachella weekend, and will definitely be back. We stayed there for weekend 1 of coachella. By we I mean about 10 of us. Plenty of space at the campground. Couldn't have been happier with the staff. They had coffee and pastries ready for us by the time we woke up. It was great. The shuttle they provided for us was outstanding as well. Anyone who attends coachella should stay here. I've been to a few RV parks , mostly we do the boon docking thing and use RV parks as a last resort (sorry for the pun) Most are crowded , not very dog friendly (if at all) . Oasis Palms was none of that ! Set in the middle of what seemed to be a former citrus orchard , with Grapefruit (the sweetest I've ever had) Tangerines and Lemons in abundance and available for the picking. Large spaces with grass in-between , SUPER dog friendly , in fact I think my two Aussie Shepherd had just as good a time as I did. Full hookups with 50 amp service , free wifi , laundry facilities that were clean and user friendly , nightly campfire sing alongs , different entertainment nightly. I can't say enough good things about Mike and Ann , really warm and inviting people and home baked Chocolate Chip cookies to boot. WE will definitely be back , and soon ! read more

Horrible experience! My husband drove 2 hours to this Oasis Palms RV Resort to set up our trailer for our daughter to stay in while she attended Stagecoach. After arriving he checked in with the office manager Michael Sparks and was given instructions on where the RV spot that was listed on the confirmation paperwork was located and given the go ahead to set up the RV. He was informed that the site was paid in full but our daughter still needed to check in with the office when she arrived to have her I.D. checked and to receive a wrist band. After setting up the RV my husband drove 2 hours back home. Our daughter was scheduled to arrive at the resort after work that night. And after hearing from her father that she needed to check in, she called the office to inquire how late the office would be open. Michael Sparks, the manager, then informed her that her dad needed to come back and move the RV to a different spot because they had double booked that spot. Mind you my daughter reserved and paid in full for this spot in February for this specific event. It is now April. When Michael Sparks was informed that we were 2 hours away and my husband was almost home already and that we would not be returning that night to move the trailer Michael Sparks became belligerent and started to yell at my daughter. He then yelled at me and continued to yell when my husband called him back. He insisted my husband drive back and move the trailer or he'd "move it himself". All because of their own mistake! He refused to compromise or negotiate in any way and ended by demanding we take our RV and leave immediately. By this time my daughter was terrified to stay there because he was so belligerent and so out of control she was afraid he might harm her. Long story short my husband and daughter returned and removed the RV the next day. Michael Sparks was there and he refunded my daughter for three of the four days reservation. But he never apologized for his behavior, the inconvenience or the fact that my daughter was now stuck looking for other accommodations in an event area that is sold out months in advance! NEVER NEVER NEVER well we do business with Oasis Palms RV Resort again. read more

Had a wonderful time here! Hosts are wonderful and our site was perfect. Quiet location, nice pool, and rec area with a ping pong table, pool table, and nice lending library. Shade for our dogs on the pool deck and a great BBQ grill for us to cook our meals. Tennis court too! But, too hot for us this time of year to play, so we sat in the pool. We came across this place randomly looking for a place to camp offsite for Coachella, and it turned out to be a great choice! The site itself is pretty nice, the bathrooms were really clean and had hot showers. Their clubhouse and pool were amazing for staying cool and out of the heat. The best part about this place is definitely the staff though. Vince, Mike, and the other people there were always incredibly friendly, hospitable and made it feel like home for us. What a wonderful RV Park with great hosts! The pool and hot tub were so refreshing and the showers were very clean. We had an orange tree right on our site. Lots of activities for people staying: poker, pot lucks, hikes, golf, etc. They were very accommodating when we had to extend our stay at the last minute. Laundry facilities were nice, one of the dryers didn't work very well. My only complaint is that the highway is kinda loud, try to get a spot closer to the pool to avoid extra noise. Great two weeks!
