Oranges , lemons, limes, grapefruit, tangerines ~ picked fresh daily. On the RV grounds! Host are wonderful. Thank you Ann for the day trip ideas .

Really loved this place. We got there around 7 and talked to Mike the manager and unfortunately an older couple had their RV breakdown so our spot wasn't available. $&@" happens so when it does what is important is how it's handled- he let us park across a row that was empty (we are 65 feet with rig and trailer) so we had a place for the night. Then we moved to the pull through the next day - did I mention they comped both nights. I would have gladly paid but Mike apologized profusely. Really chill- really no pool hours as long as you aren't crazy loud I imagine. Fire pit that the community gathered around on Saturday night. It's a Palm farm right next door and they are planting new palms around the park. If we are in the area we will definitely stay there again.

    Shade trees on tent site

Long time tent camper, first time mingling with the RV bunch. Tent sites were basic, with fruit trees planted at each site for some decent shade. Came with two kids and they both really dug the air conditioned rec room. Location is surrounded by some kind of palm date farm or something, that gives you a weird surrounded by palm trees vibe, I guess that's the oasis part. BATHROOMS WERE IMMACULATE AND FULLY AIR CONDITIONED. Not much more can be said than that.

This RV Park is really nice, with lots to do if you're bored! First, the two things I didn't like: Irresponsible pet owners... even though there is a huge dog run, some guests let their dogs run around to pee wherever they wish, yes, even on other campers' property and some take the dogs to poo at the tent sites instead of the dog run- rules need to be explained. The other thing that didn't bother me much, but did keep my husband awake on first night was the amount of road noise, try to get a space away from the road. Now, everything else is wonderful: stocked catfish lake with rowboat adults can use to fish, no kidding! Tennis courts and recreation room, coffee and pastries in the morning, fire pit, gas grill, clean laundry, bathrooms and showers. Oh, and the wi-Fi was amazing, zero issues with that, better than any great hotel we've stayed in years! As mentioned in other posts, there are flies, so we'll bring some sort of fly traps next time, but there are no smells and they cover and dump the trash often; just nature, I guess. We stayed with a 34' RV and had no issues with the space as they all are level concrete slabs. Full hook ups, minus cable, but we have Roku/Amazon prime, so we were all set. Definitely a nice place and we recommend the Oasis Palms.

One of the better looking camp sites/units

You get what you pay for and this park is adequate at best for the price. It is old and clearly in decline. Beware, the pictures and term resort are misleading. They cater to full time RV-ers and have very few rules for keeping sites clean and orderly. Many of the full timers have excessive junk, garbage, toys, vehicles, etc. Cluttering their sites. The residents and staff are pleasant, quiet, and respectful of your privacy and space. It is gated but you will need to pay a $20 CASH (no credit/debit) deposit for a key card. Well behaved dogs are allowed off leash but there are not many dogs in residence. There is a large dog run but it was VERY overgrown and we felt not usable due to insect and flea/tick concerns. Most important to note the water (sourced from a well) is NOT SAFE to drink or cook with due to excessive arsenic and fluoride. There are however 3 locations in the park with reverse osmosis filters to fill water jugs. The water is safe for bathing and dishes but does have a large amount of sediment and discoloration. It is severe enough that our onboard filter was not sufficient, it left rust colored residue in our porcelain toilet, and for the first time ever we had to add an inline filter as well. Laundry facilities are available but due to poor water quality we chose to do laundry in town. In addition California is in a severe water crisis yet leaking faucets are prevalent here and some full time residents run sprinklers at their sites. Two of these sprinklers near us ran around the clock for at least 48 hours straight. This park was sufficient for our needs for the week we were here, but I can not recommend it nor would I return. We camped at Oasis Palms RV Park in a Motorhome.

    Ants swarming everywhere

Flies and ants! This place seems like it may have been nice in the past, but it's now under new management and in recovery mode, supposedly. We stayed in a popup camper and booked two nights. It's rundown and dirty. There are broken down lawn mowers strewn about. But, you could overlook those things, because you will wish desperately that you could get away from the flies and ants. The flies are horrendous, and swarm into your RV, car, or tent immediately. You'll spend a lot of time killing them before you go to sleep. I know we did. This place is in the middle of large agricultural plots. It's like staying at a farm in that sense... Flies and ants. The ants are so bad that your foot and leg will be covered in 5 seconds. We ran around stamping and waving our arms like lunatics. Abort, abort!

Nice place to stop. Lots of fresh oranges to pick. Manager Mike was very helpful. We had a great time at the rec center shooting pool, watching the Olympics, and building a puzzle.

We had paid the extra $40 or so to get a room on the second floor and to our surprise, the double queen room came with a nice natural spring tub and was very spacious. The pools are open late with the back part closing at midnight while the main pool and hot spas are always open. We were able to go to the pools late at night and early in the morning and it was nice to have the room right there. We saw a few people who just got the day spa passes asking about the rooms and expressing regret that they hadn't just booked rooms here. Everything was really nice including the staff and service when we ordered food and drinks near the poolside. The skyline is beautiful and to be there on July 4th, we could see the fireworks in various parts of the sky. There is plenty of parking but it is a little odd of a location as it is mainly in a residential neighborhood with a few options for food. But they maintain the property well and it was a beautiful stay at a reasonable rate. We would recommend staying here!

As such, I have stayed in a long list of Marriott brand properties, all were great, however, the Renaissance Esmeralda stands out above the high standards of the others. My first experience staying at this magnificent property was over the 2018-2019 New Years. Not only did we get to enjoy the wonderful experience at Renaissance Esmeralda, we went down to the great New Years party in the lower level between the bar and stairs/fountain. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the following year to celebrate New Years and have stayed a few other times when we had family and friends visiting. More recently, while celebrating my 50th birthday, I stayed at five different Marriott properties over the course of my birthday and the days leading up to it. The fourth stay/night was at Renaissance Esmeralda and was by far the best! My experience there exceeded the wonderful stays I had at the other four Marriott properties, one of which was a W. The Renaissance Esmeralda also exceeded my expectations compared to a stay at the Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage a few months ago. From check-in to check-out, my experience there was outstanding to say the least. Charlie checked us in and provided exceptional service, as did Jonetta at check-out. It happened to be the eve of my birthday, so I was able to wake up at my favorite Marriott property ever! I was upgraded to an absolutely beautiful and large suite, which had panoramic views of the beautiful mountains, the one-of-a-kind resort style pool area and more. We arrived and found the suite that was absolutely impeccably clean, and a very nice and thoughtful surprise, a piece of birthday cake along with a bottle of wonderful wine. We also very much enjoy and appreciate the updated suites with their mid-century modern style, especially the cool bathroom wallpaper with some of Palm Springs' best mid-century modern homes. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast where Amparo provided exceptional service and food. In both the evening and the next morning, we took time to enjoy the refreshing pool area. I also very much appreciated the covered garage parking with complimentary EV charging, where we were able to charge my truck, so we didn't have to stop in the morning before heading back to Redondo Beach, allowing us more time to enjoy all the greatness Renaissance Esmeralda has to offer. Finally, we like to walk each morning with my service dog, and the property and surrounding areas couldn't be better, as there are many grass areas and some nice shaded spaces. We are already planning on returning the Renaissance Esmeralda in November when we will have family visiting, and since they are golfers, they can enjoy the adjacent beautiful course. I highly recommend this outstanding resort and property for any couple or family who wants to experience the absolute best that Marriott and the Coachella valley offer.

First, the biggest issue: roaches and spiders. Yes, you read that correctly. There were both roaches and spiders in my room. When I reported it to the front desk, I was shocked by the response. The employee simply said, "That's common here," as if it were completely normal. Instead of offering a meaningful solution, they handed me a new toothbrush because a roach had crawled all over mine. And that was it! Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed. I've contacted the corporate office and hope they'll offer a refund or some other form of resolution. The food was decent, but it was overpriced. You won't find much on the menu for under $13. On a positive note, the spa was wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed my treatments, and the staff there were warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Along with the kitchen staff, servers, and bartenders, they provided excellent customer service. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the front desk, whose response to a serious cleanliness issue fell far short of what I expected. The furniture is falling apart and the floor is stained. The cleanliness of this place is unfortunately subpar. There were random rags just laying around for some reason, and no one picked them up (so I did). Very disappointing for the amount of money I spent...

So when I say they lost a genuinely loyal customer, I've got the play history to prove it. And they lost me over twenty dollars. The short version: I had a $20 cash-out ticket that went a little past its expiration. Took it to the cashier. Rather than pull up the rewards card that was literally in the machine when I printed it -- the thing that proves the ticket was mine -- they voided it, took the paper, and spent the whole interaction insisting they weren't "keeping" my money, just "voiding" it. Either way, I walked out with nothing and no explanation, and they walked off with my $20 and, as it turns out, all my future business. As for the property: it feels old and worn to me. The machines and the floor give off a tired, run-down vibe, and if you're not into sitting at slots there's basically nothing here -- no sports bar, no variety, not much atmosphere. I've never had a meal here I'd recommend. The one exception, credit where it's due, is the Rock Yard; the outdoor shows are legitimately fun and the only part of this place I'll miss. Here's the real tell, though: Agua Caliente, which isn't even a place I'm crazy about, treats its guests noticeably better than this. And Augustine is on another level entirely -- the service they give locals and regulars is genuinely excellent, the exact opposite of what I got here. When the casino you don't even love is better, and the locals' spot is in a completely different class, that says everything about where Fantasy Springs put a loyal regular on its priority list. The point is a casino looked at a regular who spent real money here consistently and decided a $20 voucher was the hill to die on. They won the twenty. They lost the customer. I'm taking my money to Augustine, where they actually act like they want repeat guests.

Just really annoying. - The resort does not offer housekeeping, even though we stayed for 4 nights! Our room was never cleaned as a result and we had to take the trash out ourselves. I even tried leaving the trash outside my door so that housekeeping can just grab it, but I found that it was just left there all day. Some other cons... - The AC does not work in the bedrooms. It is strong in the living rooms, but there is no air in the bedrooms for some reason. Being in the desert, it was sooo hot getting up to the high 90s outside. AC is necessary! - The food in the market/cafe is pretty mid... With WorldMark Indio being a large well-known resort in the area, I would expect the cafe food to be better. Pro though - I like that they have a market/cafe; definitely helpful to get a quick lunch in before heading to Coachella. - The security becomes very aggressive if you do not have their resort wristbands on. I accidentally left mine in the room on the first day and was almost not let back onto the property even though I could tell them my full name with ID... The best and really the only PRO I can tell you about is that there are shuttles here that take you to the festival! It is run by a private company called LF Festivals. It is very convenient and costs $145 per person. It is expensive but it was convenient and made it so that we had one less thing to think about. One thing they could work on though is the wait times. I waited over an hour sometimes to get onto a shuttle since the line was so long. Sometimes though there was no wait and I got onto a van immediately. Okay, I know I have a lot of negatives to say but it's a solid place to stay. I guess I just had high expectations because of the high price. Overall, nearly every staff I interacted with was very friendly and helpful and the front desk is quick to answer the phone when you need assistance with something. The room was clean and there is a microwave, fridge, freezer, and stove. Very convenient.
