Really loved this place. We got there around 7 and talked to Mike the manager and unfortunately an older couple had their RV breakdown so our spot wasn't available. $&@" happens so when it does what is important is how it's handled- he let us park across a row that was empty (we are 65 feet with rig and trailer) so we had a place for the night. Then we moved to the pull through the next day - did I mention they comped both nights. I would have gladly paid but Mike apologized profusely. Really chill- really no pool hours as long as you aren't crazy loud I imagine. Fire pit that the community gathered around on Saturday night. It's a Palm farm right next door and they are planting new palms around the park. If we are in the area we will definitely stay there again.

    Shade trees on tent site

Long time tent camper, first time mingling with the RV bunch. Tent sites were basic, with fruit trees planted at each site for some decent shade. Came with two kids and they both really dug the air conditioned rec room. Location is surrounded by some kind of palm date farm or something, that gives you a weird surrounded by palm trees vibe, I guess that's the oasis part. BATHROOMS WERE IMMACULATE AND FULLY AIR CONDITIONED. Not much more can be said than that.

This RV Park is really nice, with lots to do if you're bored! First, the two things I didn't like: Irresponsible pet owners... even though there is a huge dog run, some guests let their dogs run around to pee wherever they wish, yes, even on other campers' property and some take the dogs to poo at the tent sites instead of the dog run- rules need to be explained. The other thing that didn't bother me much, but did keep my husband awake on first night was the amount of road noise, try to get a space away from the road. Now, everything else is wonderful: stocked catfish lake with rowboat adults can use to fish, no kidding! Tennis courts and recreation room, coffee and pastries in the morning, fire pit, gas grill, clean laundry, bathrooms and showers. Oh, and the wi-Fi was amazing, zero issues with that, better than any great hotel we've stayed in years! As mentioned in other posts, there are flies, so we'll bring some sort of fly traps next time, but there are no smells and they cover and dump the trash often; just nature, I guess. We stayed with a 34' RV and had no issues with the space as they all are level concrete slabs. Full hook ups, minus cable, but we have Roku/Amazon prime, so we were all set. Definitely a nice place and we recommend the Oasis Palms.

One of the better looking camp sites/units

You get what you pay for and this park is adequate at best for the price. It is old and clearly in decline. Beware, the pictures and term resort are misleading. They cater to full time RV-ers and have very few rules for keeping sites clean and orderly. Many of the full timers have excessive junk, garbage, toys, vehicles, etc. Cluttering their sites. The residents and staff are pleasant, quiet, and respectful of your privacy and space. It is gated but you will need to pay a $20 CASH (no credit/debit) deposit for a key card. Well behaved dogs are allowed off leash but there are not many dogs in residence. There is a large dog run but it was VERY overgrown and we felt not usable due to insect and flea/tick concerns. Most important to note the water (sourced from a well) is NOT SAFE to drink or cook with due to excessive arsenic and fluoride. There are however 3 locations in the park with reverse osmosis filters to fill water jugs. The water is safe for bathing and dishes but does have a large amount of sediment and discoloration. It is severe enough that our onboard filter was not sufficient, it left rust colored residue in our porcelain toilet, and for the first time ever we had to add an inline filter as well. Laundry facilities are available but due to poor water quality we chose to do laundry in town. In addition California is in a severe water crisis yet leaking faucets are prevalent here and some full time residents run sprinklers at their sites. Two of these sprinklers near us ran around the clock for at least 48 hours straight. This park was sufficient for our needs for the week we were here, but I can not recommend it nor would I return. We camped at Oasis Palms RV Park in a Motorhome.

    Ants swarming everywhere

Flies and ants! This place seems like it may have been nice in the past, but it's now under new management and in recovery mode, supposedly. We stayed in a popup camper and booked two nights. It's rundown and dirty. There are broken down lawn mowers strewn about. But, you could overlook those things, because you will wish desperately that you could get away from the flies and ants. The flies are horrendous, and swarm into your RV, car, or tent immediately. You'll spend a lot of time killing them before you go to sleep. I know we did. This place is in the middle of large agricultural plots. It's like staying at a farm in that sense... Flies and ants. The ants are so bad that your foot and leg will be covered in 5 seconds. We ran around stamping and waving our arms like lunatics. Abort, abort!

Nice place to stop. Lots of fresh oranges to pick. Manager Mike was very helpful. We had a great time at the rec center shooting pool, watching the Olympics, and building a puzzle.

I think the experience would be better for everyone if visitors and long-term residents were placed in separate areas whenever possible. It would allow vacationers to relax and enjoy their stay while also respecting the peace and quiet that full-time residents expect. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and would definitely consider returning.

There are only 28 pull thru sites for short term rental. And they are located right at the park entrance with no gate, no check-in stop and no lighting, cameras or security. The first and only night we stayed here our $2,000+ electric bike was stolen off our locked and covered bike rack at 3:30am. And the Thule bike rack was ruined. We were awakened at that time by a loud but short motor sound followed by a bang and a shaking of our trailer. At first we thought the wind had blown something into our trailer. It took a couple of minutes to gather our thoughts and look out the windows before going outside. After cautiously proceeding, it was discovered that our bike had been stolen. The next morning we spoke with another camper 1 space over to see if he had seen or heard anything and he did hear the noise but didn't see anything. He also thought it might have been wind related and thus put his awing in. He did however, inform us that at check-in he was told "if you have bikes or camp valuables they recommend that you keep them inside your RV if you are gone or at night". The reason is they have had theft problems before in the RV pull thru sites. We were not given this piece of information. Also that morning we spoke with a full time resident who was taking a walk and she told us this has been a chronic problem at the RV pull thru sites and the complex has done nothing to resolve it. And they usually will warn you to secure everything. We did call the police and they came out to take a report and they confirmed that bike, motor cycle and car theft is pretty pervasive in this area. And they aren't sure why the complex hasn't done anything for better security. Now comes the bulls--t from the management or office staff. We went to complain and inform them of the theft and to request our money back. We also asked why they didn't inform us of the problem and the recommendation to lock stuff in your RV. The woman said "oh we never tell anybody that" which means our site neighbor and the resident just made that up. I asked why there is no gate or lights or cameras or security and here is her response. I paraphrase "The police don't care to even look at camera footage, the city won't let us put in a gate, (even though the police have recommended it), we are not responsible for stolen property or damages". I even asked why wouldn't you attach a flyer or note in the check-in paper work letting people know there is a theft problem in the area? Her response was "if we did that people wouldn't want to stay here". So the result is get your property stolen so we don't lose any customers. Now comes the wonderful customer service - NOT!! At first they offered to return our money. But after going through all the "why do nothing for security" options my wife said "well, we will be noting this problem in our review", and the lady responded "well, if you're going to give us a bad review, forget the refund" and threw my credit back at me. Good Sam has been notified of the park problems and that this park in no way meets the Good Sam standards and should not be recommended.

He didn't even ask for a paypal payment for the postage before, but I made sure to send it right when I got it.) Some have mentioned that the hot springs weren't hot. I normally like the temp really high, and the springs here do not disappoint. And if you want it even hotter, there is a hose right next to the springs that you can use to fill your tub with more hot water (it comes out very, very hot... you do have to wait 30-60 seconds though for the water to start coming out very hot). There are 6 individual hot spring tubs, and about 50 feet away there is a pool area with a jacuzzi. At night when I went, the water was hot (perfect temp). I also went in the morning, and the water was really warm, enough so that you can stay in for an hour or more comfortably. At night I would stay in for a few minutes, and get out to cool off, repeat, etc. I think they do that on purpose (cooler temps during the morning, maybe daytime) so you can enjoy them even though it's hot outside. I did use the hose in the morning to heat up the bath even more, and it worked well. People around were chill, seemed like everyone had good vibes, everyone was doing their own thing. They did have a BBQ on Saturday where everyone got together, they have food an everything, and everyone in the campground was invited - I didn't go as I had just got there, but next time I will for sure. Seemed like there are many longer term guests that all know each other, everyone we met was very kind and generous. Overall great experience.

Honestly never heard of this place until we were looking for something to do. It's just a couple miles from the main strip of 111. But tucked behind some of the beautiful gated communities, you end up here. We didn't know what to expect or how it would be. Thought it would be some park of sorts. Well... It is tucked with the mountains in the background which makes for a beautiful view. Hiking is not far from it and there's loads of beautiful homes in gated communities. We didn't know that camping was also offered here. It's a little drive up to the main gate which there's a fee for entering. The person working the station was gracious enough to let us in as we just wanted to check it out. First off, it's a man made lake. You enter the park area with parking both to the left and right side. There's plenty of spots in both of the parking lot. We went to the right which from the looks of the park, it is well maintained. There's a small little playground on one end, a pool area in the middle and a pickleball court and a basketball court to the other end. That's would be the main park area. If you continue to drive down toward the front, there's campsites. Areas with a grill, a spot for your car as well as water and electricity. Depending on what you need, the fee will be added. You could just camp as if without the electricity. Also the sites are pretty much next to each other. We drove to the other side where there's more campsite which this one is more primitive style. Bring everything yourself. The other side was more of a dirt lot. Not sure what it would be utilize for. Lake area does look man made and well maintained. Looking down it looked as it was like an amphitheater with the steeps leading down. We did find out that you can fish but no swimming or boating allowed. There's a fee if you wanted to fish. Basically a fee for everything. Overall, it's a decent park tucked away. Camping available but not the roughing kind. Small park area but does have a pool. It was pretty quiet when we arrived as it was hot. Would we pay to come in after we've seen this place, probably not. But at least we know what to expect incase we do happen to be back again.
