Clean & new hotel. Feels safe. Convenient to groceries, store, fantasy springs casino (driving) & Coachella. Nice high ceilings.

We were looking for some place close but also nice for our weekend stay for our friend's wedding and we definitely based this off of the photos and price. We loved what we saw and were set on it. We checked in a bit late since we were stuck in traffic but it was a smooth and easy process. It was basically in the middle of nowhere and it was my first time visiting Palm Desert so it seemed a bit eery but once the next morning rolled around, it was beautiful out! We checked in and the lobby area was very nicely put together with very high ceilings. We checked in and to our surprise, our room was just down the hall on the same floor! I thought it would be too loud being right around the corner from their laundry room and check in area but we didn't hear a thing. Walking into our room, we noticed the very spacious bathroom and big shower! Huge plus and everything was super clean and nice. Walking into the bedroom, I found a nice surprise on our TV that had a screensaver playing that welcomed the person's name that the room was booked under. Super cool and very nice to see walking in. Bed was extremely comfy and AC was perfect. We managed to catch the complimentary breakfast in the lobby on our last day right before we checked out and got to enjoy that. Would definitely stay here again!! IG: @ammysalamii

Nice location. Close to food, town, entertainment. We were greeted shortly after entering. Kind and efficient at the desk. The elevator ride was not my favorite. Very warm in there. No air. The room is nice. I did buy Lysol wipes to wipe the handles and door jams. Lots of finger prints left behind. They wiped away quick and easy all is well now. Breakfast is served here and it was a very nice spread. The biscuits and gravy are ok. The omlette also just ok. Waffles seems like a good choice regular and pumpkin spice. But there was a long line. Muffins and bagels are good. I scored some yummy Oatmeal with toppings. Lots of coffee all around all day that's awesome !! Breakfast wasn't my favorite but it works to fit the needs. Also loooove that theybhave forks/spoons left out by the coffee at the entrance. Thanks for being sure to have them accessible we always eat in our room and never have forks. This made life easier!! ****The pool**** definitely needs to be cleaned the water is on the warmer side and it's a cloudy green. So I won't be putting my body in that at all! It's sad because we really wanted some pool time. All in all I would stay again.

Stayed here the other night and it was a phenomenal experience! Booked direct with Hilton and Sierra was at the front desk to check me in. There was plexiglass protecting the employee and the employee also wore a mask when speaking with clients along with a uniform. The property is brand new and right in front of the I-5. As Indio is still up and coming, there is very minimal around the property besides gravel... There is a WalMart next door, but it is a good 15 minute walk even though some can see it from their hotel room window! As a brand new property, everything was in good working order. The HVAC was pretty quiet and the freeway noise was bearable. Water pressure was great and Wifi was fast. There were numerous channels on the TV and parking was plentiful in the private lot. Mattress was also in good condition, although it seems like the end of the bed was only half-made and the sheet underneath the comforter was too low?!?

This time around, there was a bit of confusion with our room booked, through Booking (not the actual hotel), and Rene, Denise, and Jay were all extremely helpful in getting us the room we needed. I came last year in June and September, when renovations were happening, and now that they are done, the hotel looks great. I always enjoy their full breakfasts, in the morning, and a coffee/tea station that is always available. The past few times, I have visited, now include different tacos each morning, and many breakfast items to choose from. They also have Social Hour on Wednesdays, which is a nice touch. Social Hour seems to be more regulated than a few times before when people, who were not guests, were coming in causing a major disruption, both in the kitchen area and pool. One area that should be highly considered is the overall cleanliness of the room, especially with these new renovations. My bed spread/top blanket was not clean. It smelled musty and dirty as if it's not being washed between guests. I pulled this off and never used it during my stay. The thermostat was also very dirty with dirt and whatever else. I always bring sanitizing wipes to clean down surfaces and they came in handy. In addition, I always use the kitchen area to make something or use the dishes. On many occasions, including this visit, every dish, glass, or utensil I pulled out had crumbs, dry food, or smudges on them. There is no soap or sponge in the kitchenette, so I do bring my own, but these should be fully cleaned and sanitized before each guests arrival. Upon leaving, I did a full dishwasher wash of every utensil, glass, and plates/bowls in the cabinet. My stay here is usually quiet, safe, relaxing and comfortable, and overall, this is a great place to stay.

So when I say they lost a genuinely loyal customer, I've got the play history to prove it. And they lost me over twenty dollars. The short version: I had a $20 cash-out ticket that went a little past its expiration. Took it to the cashier. Rather than pull up the rewards card that was literally in the machine when I printed it -- the thing that proves the ticket was mine -- they voided it, took the paper, and spent the whole interaction insisting they weren't "keeping" my money, just "voiding" it. Either way, I walked out with nothing and no explanation, and they walked off with my $20 and, as it turns out, all my future business. As for the property: it feels old and worn to me. The machines and the floor give off a tired, run-down vibe, and if you're not into sitting at slots there's basically nothing here -- no sports bar, no variety, not much atmosphere. I've never had a meal here I'd recommend. The one exception, credit where it's due, is the Rock Yard; the outdoor shows are legitimately fun and the only part of this place I'll miss. Here's the real tell, though: Agua Caliente, which isn't even a place I'm crazy about, treats its guests noticeably better than this. And Augustine is on another level entirely -- the service they give locals and regulars is genuinely excellent, the exact opposite of what I got here. When the casino you don't even love is better, and the locals' spot is in a completely different class, that says everything about where Fantasy Springs put a loyal regular on its priority list. The point is a casino looked at a regular who spent real money here consistently and decided a $20 voucher was the hill to die on. They won the twenty. They lost the customer. I'm taking my money to Augustine, where they actually act like they want repeat guests.

Because it was the weekend of the Coachella music festival, the entire resort was full and it was extremely busy. Check in was quick and easy with friendly staff. Since it is a WorldMark location, we were offered the timeshare presentation (marketed as a "tour of the property"); we politely declined and they never bothered us again about it. The following items really annoyed me and I am not sure whether this is the norm or if it was because it was busy and the resort was full. - The resort DOES NOT provide additional towels. You can only replace dirty towels by calling housekeeping and trading your dirty towels for new ones. I have never seen a resort/hotel do this and did not like this practice. Just really annoying. - The resort does not offer housekeeping, even though we stayed for 4 nights! Our room was never cleaned as a result and we had to take the trash out ourselves. I even tried leaving the trash outside my door so that housekeeping can just grab it, but I found that it was just left there all day. Some other cons... - The AC does not work in the bedrooms. It is strong in the living rooms, but there is no air in the bedrooms for some reason. Being in the desert, it was sooo hot getting up to the high 90s outside. AC is necessary! - The food in the market/cafe is pretty mid... With WorldMark Indio being a large well-known resort in the area, I would expect the cafe food to be better. Pro though - I like that they have a market/cafe; definitely helpful to get a quick lunch in before heading to Coachella. - The security becomes very aggressive if you do not have their resort wristbands on. I accidentally left mine in the room on the first day and was almost not let back onto the property even though I could tell them my full name with ID... The best and really the only PRO I can tell you about is that there are shuttles here that take you to the festival! It is run by a private company called LF Festivals. It is very convenient and costs $145 per person. It is expensive but it was convenient and made it so that we had one less thing to think about. One thing they could work on though is the wait times. I waited over an hour sometimes to get onto a shuttle since the line was so long. Sometimes though there was no wait and I got onto a van immediately. Okay, I know I have a lot of negatives to say but it's a solid place to stay. I guess I just had high expectations because of the high price. Overall, nearly every staff I interacted with was very friendly and helpful and the front desk is quick to answer the phone when you need assistance with something. The room was clean and there is a microwave, fridge, freezer, and stove. Very convenient.

Unfortunately, while I was showering, I noticed that the water was not draining. Because I was so tired, it took me a moment to realize that my feet were standing in several inches of dirty water. When I removed the drain cover, I was horrified to find a large clump of thick black hair measuring approximately 3 inches by 3 inches and about three-quarters of an inch thick blocking the drain. I immediately got out of the shower and thoroughly washed my feet, but by then I felt physically ill. I went to the front desk to explain what had happened. The staff seemed less than sympathetic and offered me two options: move to a room that was not as nice as my current one or wait for housekeeping, although they could not tell me how long that would take. I explained that I simply wanted to take another shower as soon as possible and asked if housekeeping could be expedited. My request appeared to inconvenience them, despite the fact that I remained calm and courteous throughout the conversation. When housekeeping finally arrived, the experience became even more disappointing. The housekeeper came without any cleaning supplies. Instead, she picked up one of the washcloths from my bathroom and used it to wipe away part of the hair. No disinfectant or cleaning products were used. She then looked at me and, in a rude tone, asked, "Is that all you need?" I was completely shocked by both the lack of professionalism and the absence of any attempt to properly sanitize the shower. Fortunately, I had taken several photographs of the hair before housekeeping arrived. I returned to the front desk and showed the pictures to another guest relations employee, whose reaction confirmed that my concerns were justified. She immediately called over the manager on duty. After seeing the photos, he apologized and offered to move me to a pool view room with a larger balcony than my other pool view room, which I appreciated. However, by that point the damage had already been done. I was still nauseated from having unknowingly stood in filthy, backed-up water containing someone else's hair, and I was emotionally drained after what should have been a relaxing start to my trip. After such a long drive, this was the last experience I expected, and it significantly impacted my impression of the hotel. I hope this experience is taken seriously, not only because of the obvious sanitation concerns, but also because guests deserve to be treated with empathy and professionalism when issues like this arise. I sincerely hope steps are taken to improve both housekeeping procedures and customer service so that no future guest has to endure a similar experience.
