The mattress felt a bit old and worn out. 3/5 Breakfast Food options were mediocre at best. Waffles, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, bagels and fruit. I've stayed in hotels and the weekday menu has slightly less options compared to the weekend but this just felt like less overall. 5/5 Parking Lots of spots around the property. We stayed here on a Sunday evening on our way from Arizona to Orange County. This is a nice, safe location. There are no restaurants within walking distance, but there is a nice selection only 2 or 3 miles away. We thought the breakfast wasn't as tasty as we have experienced at other Hampton Inn's and we couldn't find a water purifier machine in the gym as we have at other Hampton Inn's. But this location was very nice, the beds were comfortable, towels were soft, our room was very clean, our 4th fl room was quiet, and the staff was nice. read more

We have stayed at a number of Motel 6 locations over the years and this is probably the lowest rated one for us. A reservation was cancelled without reason, even though it was done on the Motel 6 website. The reason given was that it was not paid for in advance, which I have never experienced before. Kevin at the front desk saved the day and got us into the room desired. The main issue here is location. It is a pretty seedy area with a number of other less desirable options and a cast of characters that might be suspect. Add into that an incessant rumble of loud music quite nearby and the constant noise from nearby trains, including making the room move as they go by. The room also needed a very good cleaning. I had an awful experience with the manager and the assistant manager who each had an attitude unfitting of the Hilton name. The assistant manger, Manuel, refused to give me a late checkout of 15 minutes, declaring that I would have to pay $1 a minute. When I came to check out, he deliberately agitated me with "courteous sarcasm," telling me to have an amusing day after I told him I was not amused. The manager, Luis avoided my call and then defended his behavior. The management has a nasty attitude unsuitable for any hotel or motel, let alone a Hilton. I won't ever stay there again. read more

I stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton in Indio, CA this October while in town for an event. I've stayed at many Hilton properties over the years and never had a problem before, but this experience was really disappointing. After I checked out, I saw a $250 "smoking fee" added to my credit card. I was surprised because I never smoked inside my room. The room was clean when I left, with no smell or damage. When I called the hotel, I spoke with Manuel, the Front Desk Supervisor. He said staff notes indicated there was smoking, but he couldn't provide any actual proof--no photos, no cleaning reports, nothing. Despite my explanation, he refused to remove the charge. It felt unfair and frustrating. I've always trusted Hilton to handle things professionally, but this experience really changed how I feel about this location. If you stay here, check your bill carefully and be aware they might add charges without clear evidence. read more

The place is great like all Hampton Inns, but they dropped the ball on one important thing to me.. the pool. I was excited to see they have a heated outdoor pool in the desert and winter time. We were looking for some place close but also nice for our weekend stay for our friend's wedding and we definitely based this off of the photos and price. We loved what we saw and were set on it. We checked in a bit late since we were stuck in traffic but it was a smooth and easy process. It was basically in the middle of nowhere and it was my first time visiting Palm Desert so it seemed a bit eery but once the next morning rolled around, it was beautiful out! We checked in and the lobby area was very nicely put together with very high ceilings. We checked in and to our surprise, our room was just down the hall on the same floor! I thought it would be too loud being right around the corner from their laundry room and check in area but we didn't hear a thing. Walking into our room, we noticed the very spacious bathroom and big shower! Huge plus and everything was super clean and nice. Walking into the bedroom, I found a nice surprise on our TV that had a screensaver playing that welcomed the person's name that the room was booked under. Super cool and very nice to see walking in. Bed was extremely comfy and AC was perfect. We managed to catch the complimentary breakfast in the lobby on our last day right before we checked out and got to enjoy that. Stayed here the other night and it was a phenomenal experience! Booked direct with Hilton and Sierra was at the front desk to check me in. There was plexiglass protecting the employee and the employee also wore a mask when speaking with clients along with a uniform. The property is brand new and right in front of the I-5. As Indio is still up and coming, there is very minimal around the property besides gravel... There is a WalMart next door, but it is a good 15 minute walk even though some can see it from their hotel room window! As a brand new property, everything was in good working order. The HVAC was pretty quiet and the freeway noise was bearable. Water pressure was great and Wifi was fast. There were numerous channels on the TV and parking was plentiful in the private lot. Mattress was also in good condition, although it seems like the end of the bed was only half-made and the sheet underneath the comforter was too low?!? read more

Nice location. Close to food, town, entertainment. We were greeted shortly after entering. Kind and efficient at the desk. The elevator ride was not my favorite. Very warm in there. No air. The room is nice. I did buy Lysol wipes to wipe the handles and door jams. Lots of finger prints left behind. They wiped away quick and easy all is well now. Breakfast is served here and it was a very nice spread. The biscuits and gravy are ok. The omlette also just ok. Waffles seems like a good choice regular and pumpkin spice. But there was a long line. Muffins and bagels are good. I scored some yummy Oatmeal with toppings. Lots of coffee all around all day that's awesome !! Breakfast wasn't my favorite but it works to fit the needs. Also loooove that theybhave forks/spoons left out by the coffee at the entrance. Thanks for being sure to have them accessible we always eat in our room and never have forks. This made life easier!! ****The pool**** definitely needs to be cleaned the water is on the warmer side and it's a cloudy green. So I won't be putting my body in that at all! Stay // I chose to stay here while visiting some friends and family in the area, and it was not a bad choice. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the breakfast was not too bad. The room itself was modern, and had all the essentials I needed during my stay including a coat holder, a TV to watch some games on my down time, and a desk to get some work done. During the morning hours they have breakfast, and some hot coffee to get your day going. My stay was about $160 usd. Location // The only kind of odd thing about the hotel is that it is literally in the middle of nothing. There are other business nearby, but not really close walking distance. This is an up and coming part of the town and I sure it will all get filled in the future. read more

Easy check in and clean room. There was a problem with the TV, they switched me to another room, no problem. Big smart TV so getting Netflix and Youtube was simple. The room was quiet and clean, slept well. Iv'e stayed at several Hamptons and the breakfasts are comparable. The choices vary but are good and there a decent variety. Eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffles and cereals. I like the lobbies and eating area. There's plenty of space and plugins it if you need to work. read more

The overnight front desk attendant on 4/25/2025 around midnight discriminated against me for my religious beliefs. After making a purchase at the front desk, the attendant directed insulting and threatening statements towards me then asked me what my faith was. I responded with catholic and he declares in a rude manner "makes sense". This made me feel very unwelcome, uncomfortable, unsafe, and upset. I hope management corrects this young man's behavior and trains future employs to be professional and appropriate. I have been a Hilton honors member for two decades and have never had such an atrocious experience. read more

Everything was as it should be! Well, the check in was good. The pool area was lovely, the room was clean and fresh. Sounds pretty good. Well with two exceptions. The standard method housekeeping makes beds at all Hampton properties anymore terrible! Does Hampton hear complaints about the way y'all make our beds??? Once in bed the covers do not reach beyond the elbows for guests of average height! One must either struggle to tug and yank to free up the bedcovers or get out and unleash it all. Second. The "sausage" Pattie's served Sunday at your location and all other Hampton we have stayed at in our recent travels morning were both tasteless and rubbery! The squeak made against one's teeth was a tell tale sign that it probably doesn't really qualify as true sausage Any more than Velveeta is real cheese! I doubt seriously that anyone who is devoted to using the gym on site would seriously want to fuel their bodies with these round rubbery excuses for breakfast meat. The potato's were almost as bad but for other reasons. Thank Goodness Hampton always has Bigelow teas. For $400.00 per night at the Indio property including fees and taxes for one night Guests should NOT need to go out in search for decent breakfast! I feel strongly about this!! Booked this as a last minute new years stay and it has been nothing but fabulous. Close to the main highway but very little to no road noise, rooms are spacious and clean, bathrooms are spacious and clean as well, interior of the hotel is beautiful and all newly renovated not to mention tons of FREE parking which is a rare find! Close to loads of restaurants - we loved Thai hot and the cantina (both within 10min), also great location for all the golfers heading to Indio. Close to lots of great courses. This Hass to be the worst Hampton Inn or Hilton hotel I've ever stayed in. No room servicing at all. The staff duh do not care if the guests are happy or not. You can steal the snack shop blind as they don't even come out to see if anybody is at the front desk. I would never recommend this hotel to anybody. I have been here for one weekand have had to ask for toilet paper towels and came home to no linens on the bed after being here for 5 nights! Worst hotel service ever. I had a few problems with my stay let's start with the check in I came in late 120 am I had to wait 8 mins before he picked up the phone maybe. The guy at the Front desk was on brake. Great room 102. Was set up like a studio apartment. I was here for Coachella- if I ever come back wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

First, the nice things: the hotel is new and inviting. The front desk staff is very friendly and outgoing, the property is clean and nice, the rooms are big, comfortable, and modern. But that's what i have come to expect from Hampton Inn, which for years has been my "go to" hotel whenever I am traveling on the road for business or short vacations. I've stayed at Hampton Inns all over the U.S. But this location was a BIG disappointment. First off, the pillows were paper-thin...and when I asked the front desk for extra pillows, they told me that they don't have any. Second, this hotel is right next to the freeway and is VERY noisy, which is a surprise, since I have stayed at many Hampton's next to freeways and that has never been a problem before. Third, the walls are so thin you could hear what the guest in one room was watching on TV and the conference call / zoom meeting the guy in the next room was having. I had to wear ear earplugs in order to sleep. Fourth, the breakfast biscuits were so hard, you could throw them at a window and break glass and the eggs tasted like something created in a test-tube. Epic breakfast fail. I left in the morning for a day of work and when I returned that night, the room had not been made up and the towels hadn't been replaced -- I complained to the cheery fellow at the front desk who shrugged, gave me some fresh towels, and said, "oh well, they must have forgot to do your room." I am a big Hampton's Inn fan, but if this was my first experience with the hotel, I doubt I would ever be back. read more

One night stay here at this hotel on 12/20/2022. I was concerned after reading a few of the reviews of what I would find at this property but, very glad I booked here, and I would certainly return. I had a first-floor room, the place was spotless, the front counter was quick and friendly, and a lady serving the breakfast did a great job and was very friendly. I did have a minor issue with something upon arrival with my room, I was going to ding a star and only give a four-star review, but it was handled so well this morning upon my check-out ( 12/21) by a young lady at the desk I am sharing five stars. Pros- Breakfast at this Hampton is excellent compared to many others. Front counter, very excellent service. The room was spotless. The common areas were all spotless and looked nice. Comfortable room and very updated and new. The price was very fair. Plenty of parking and easy access to hotel entrances. Lots of places close in the distance to shop and eat at. Non- None, I would return and will book here in the future. read more

We met with George he was at the front desk and I asked him if I could get a room with one king bed because I knew my reservations said something different. BOYCOTT THIS HOTEL, They do NOT Want Local residents Renting their Rooms. This weekend we had our 3 sons over for my Birthday & Fathers Day. So several weeks ago I did an online reservation using my Hilton card to reserve a room for Saturday night 6/19/21 at the new Hampton Suites in Indio on Spectrum. On Saturday afternoon, my son was running late, so I went over to the Hampton to check in for him and pay for the room. As I was checking in I was informed by the front desk that they normally do not accept reservations from "Local" residents, but "she is going to do me a favor and let me have the room this time." I have been all over the world and have never had a front desk tell me that they do not want local residents in their Hotel. Needless to say, that upset me a bit, and I told her I can not believe what she was saying. Then she escalated the situation by started to yell & screech at me to give her my Key back and go to another hotel. I refused, I told her I have just paid for the room then went up to check the room and turn the A/C on. When I departed the hotel, the manager started to chew me out and said it is their policy that they do not want local residents in their hotel. I bit my tongue. This is not the 4 Seasons or the JW Marriot, but a Hotel in north Indio. So to me that means they are discriminating against local residents and Seniors that need an additional room for a night. What if our AC went out and we need a room in this 120 heat? Even thought this Hotel is less that a mile form our home in the Del Webb Shadow Hills Resort, I will Never go back to this Hamilton again. there are 5 other hotels in les that a 4 mile radius. Please Boycott this Hampton, they do not want our local business!! read more

We stayed here for one night as we didn't wanted to drive back the same night after star gazing at Joshua. Rooms are clean, modern and spacious(including shower rooms). Neutrogena bath products are used (rather than some unknown bath products). Plenty of parking with side door accessibility to the hotel. Closer to major shops and eateries. We will stay here the next time we plan to be in the desert cities. read more

My car was overheating and my replacement was going to be there at 6pm. The manager was not empathetic or helpful. I had to pay a whole additional night to stay until then. I get it if it was just for fun, but I was stuck in the desert (with children) due to the unforeseen circumstances. I understand needing to pay extra but he was being rude. Not hospitable at all in a very stressful time. I looked online at room rates for that day and they charged me more. They refused to price match when I asked. read more

Stayed here two nights, it was quiet and clean. I like the fact that it was next to Walmart and Starbucks. There was no housekeeping, which was fine. I had my own supplies to clean with, they do clean the rooms once you've checked out. I would stay here again. read more
