Absolutely ridiculous. Scheduled an appt with pam a week and a half in advance, received a text confirmation of the appt. Went to my appt just for the girl to tell me im considered a walk in because who scheduled me did it wrong. Then when asked how long is the wait time i was told 25-30 mins , we t back inside at 30 mins just for her to tell me its another 45 min wait because she has 2 other people in front of me. Very unprofessional, was not accommodating at all, considering the fact that i had an appt scheduled 2 weeks ahead of time. Absolutely ridiculous, was a loyal customer but the new front desk girl has no idea how to do her job . Pretty sure it was her f up to begin. Hao was excellent. She was super nice and polite the whole time doing my nails and didn't give me any attitude when I asked if she could trim a little more off my nails. The work she did was clean, pretty, and bright. She was just excellent all around! The spa itself was beautiful, clean, and well organized. I was excited to get my nails done today. Not being from the area I went on yelp and the oasis had good reviews. This was not my first time getting dip done on my nails but once the first layer was done on my right hand I was not told to put under the light. I never have anywhere else put my nails under a light each step for dip. Since I did not do so the nail tech had to redo the step. He seemed very annoyed. He was very rough. Left with cuts on three of my fingers. One is pretty deep. I will not return here or recommend this place. read more

This is my go-to nail salon. I am always impressed with the nail techs! They have OPI polish, another must when I'm choosing a salon, but they also have gel...an array of colors. I've been going to this salon for over a year and they always have new, seasonal colors. They don't dilute their polishes like a lot of other places either. Some other positives: back room with chairs that can be used for private parties separated by curtains, various types of pedicures (green tea, orange, lavender, hot stones, etc), comfortable massage chairs, tub liners for pedicures, and more. They have water available or you can order wine from the wine bar next door - add that to the easy listening music and you can be swept away. So the real reason I'm writing another review... I've seen this woman before - I call her the cleaning lady because that's what I always see her doing. And I don't mean just taking out the trash or washing the towels, I've seen her walk around the room wiping down the baseboards. Now to see this once was surprising enough, especially when nail salons can get a bad reputation for being unhygienic quickly, but I've seen this on more than one occasion. BUT today blew my mind!! There is the incredible chandelier in the center of the salon. I witnessed this woman dip the glass (?) balls into some cleaning liquid and polish this chandelier to its sparkling magic. HORRIBLE!! Went in with my daughter for nails and pedi. and these "nail techs" were THE worst! They did not cut down or file my toe nails, they did not cut the cuticles and I can see my nails through the polish. My polish looks all patchy. As for my daughters full set they refused to do her nails in the shape and length that she requested. Said they didn't do that . They had no idea what they were doing! Filed down her nails so much that there was hardly anything left to work with. Needless to say we will never return here. Oh and all this incompetence cost me $210!!!! read more

The salon its self looks to be nice but they do not know how to do nails! My dip powder nails look like a pre schooler did them with puffy paint and my toes have cuts on them from where the lady work on them that are extremely painful. They also place everyones finger in the same dip container which I think is very unsanitary especially during this pandemic. Three stars (It was OK) for the service and one star based on my expectations for a relaxing spa experience based on what their website claims it to be. This is the kind of place you go when you just need a quick walk-in mani or pedi. The woman who did my waxing was nice and did a pretty good job. It wasn't the experience I'm used to but it was fine. I'm new to this area and here's why I'm going to continue looking for another salon: - Even though I had booked an appointment in advance, they had to call the woman who does waxing for them and I had to wait a 1/2 hour until she arrived. - The room where the waxing is done is right off of the main room so, even though the person doing my waxing was careful about not opening the door too wide, it felt a bit too exposing. - The room was cluttered and shabby... not dirty per se but certainly not squeaky clean. read more

I received a gift card for this nail salon, so that is how I ended up here. I asked for a manicure and pedicure. I was sat in a pedicure chair and was handed the "pedicure menu" and the nail tech kept pointing out the $57 pedicure and I turned to the front of the menu, to look at the other options. He kept turning it back to the expensive option. He was too pushy. I ended up choosing the basic $32 pedicure. My entire pedicure lasted 16 minutes (from sitting down, to having a bag placed in the tub, having the water filled up, etc, to having the polish applied). He didn't even clip my nails and the massage lasted less than 30 seconds (per leg). The pumice on the bottom of my feet was a complete joke. He made about 3 sweeps across each foot. ‍ Next comes the manicure (only slightly better than the pedicure). He kept trying to push upgrades on me. All I wanted was the simple option. Stay away from this overpriced salon! You barely get anything for your $, get heavily pressured to buy options that you don't want (I kept politely saying which option I wanted). And the best part, when you politely turn down the upgrades, you get treated like a nuisance. Yucky experience. read more

I've been going to Oasis for several years when I visit Winter Haven (which is approximately 5 times a year.) Over time the service has declined dramatically. Yesterday was my last and final visit--for a toenail polish change and gel nails. A polish change no longer consists of trimming the nails...tech didn't even ask. Sloppy, rushed job on my gel manicure...no lotion on hands and arms. Expertise the problems I experienced were either an extremely large communication gap. Or a lack of experience not sure which! Service Seldom anyone available that speaks English, so very difficult to communicate with service personnel. two weeks ago made appointment for 0930 (at opening) for three pedicures. One a standard pedicure, and two specials. the guy doing the standard understook no English, we were trying to ask him to turn on mom's chair (she is 87, with dementia) and he appeared to simply ignore my requests, finally asked the guy doing my pedicure to ask the other guy to please turn on mom's massage chair, and he finally did, but made no attempt to put it on a setting befitting an 87 year old customer! then when my daughter and I selected what type of pedicures we wanted they told us no! and brought us something else, we insisted and finally got the pedicure we requested, but my guy made the water so unbearably hot that I couldn't put my feet in for a long time, he finally cooled it down a bit so he could at least put his hands in it. then the pedicure itself was not done well too long to go into the details. then a week later made an appointment for my daughter and I to go back for manicures, My daughter requested corners of her nails to be rounded, he made them squared, and cut them way shorter than she requested. when she got home, she called back in, and they did try to somewhat salvage the job he did...but the three of us will never go back here! horrible! read more

I gave this salon more than a chance. I had a full set put on and had to go back next day because my gel all came off within a night because it wasn't set right. Two days later 3 of my nails broke so easily, beyond frustrated i went back and requested for them to be taken off and to be told it was the style of nail why it broke. I was charged for the removal (don't mind) until I came home and realized there still a thick layer of acrylic on my nails. HORRIBLE. My nails are in so much pain. Gel is cheap and will peel off within a week On your toes as well. read more

Painful Pedicure! I paid for a $60 pedicure to have a tech make me yell that hurts when trimming around the nail. Next when she was filing my toe nails her focus was on talking to other techs and she filed the tops of my toes scrapping some of the skin off. Eight hours later they were still hurting. She did not give a leg or foot massage just rubbed lotion in the legs. Painful experience. I have had good pedicures there before with other techs thats focus was not conversation. Learned my lesson make an appointment to make sure I get a tech that focuses on their job. read more

Literally the worst service I've ever experienced at a nail salon. It was rushed and i didn't even really get much of a massage. I paid for a classic pedicure and it ended in under 25 minutes. The tech was rude and impatient. At the drying table, there is a sign that states that basic pedicures last at least 30 minutes and if your service was anything less than that to see a receptionist. The mere fact this even has to be posted says something about the salon. read more

Pedicure experience was horrible! She didnt say anything to me the entire time. The person doing my pedicure didnt ask me if I want my nails cut down or shaped, she just cut them down. I got the green tea pedicure- water was cold, she didnt use the sea salt that was suppose to be included in the service and the wax treatment did not stay on my heels. She just sat my feet on top of the bags and not place my feet in the bag and tie it up, like they have done on previous visits. Definitely not worth the money that was charged. First time going today. My nail tech was Cindy and she was very lovely; kept asking if I was okay. I got a full set and gel polish which came out so good. Not bulky at all like some other places do it. The prices were reasonable and the place is beautiful. There is a huge chandelier in the middle of the room. I must say there were a lot of workers lounging in the pedicure section but I guess that's because I went in at like 2pm when it wasn't really busy. I've been so disappointed with nail spas since I've moved here last year, but I'm happy to report I've found the best nail spa I've been to in Winter Haven so far. I'm rating based on quality of services, customer service, cost and overall building. Nina did a wonderful pedicure and my shellac manicure is on point. They had a customer appreciation for the Christmas holidays on a Friday and made delicious egg rolls for all of the customers. I thought that was a pleasant surprise and a kind gesture. I called yesterday to schedule an appointment with a specific nail tech (required during COVID-19), my appointment was scheduled for today at 11am, they took my name and number at the time I made my appointment. I arrived at 10:40am, went inside to check in, the lady at the desk told me to wait in my vehicle until and then come in and sign my name. I went back to my car and waited as directed. At 11am, I entered and signed in, the lady asked me who my nail tech was, I told her and she said "Oh, he didn't come in today," but you can sign in and wait for an open slot......BEHIND the 5 people who technically got there well after I did ! Male nail tech could not do what he said he could- and then when I tried to discuss the issue - he was very rough with my nails- made me bleed and was annoyed I did not like what he did. Terrible service. The nail technicians rushed us to sit down and rushed the massage and whole experience. I grew up here, but live in California now and rarely come back to visit, but wanted to spend some quality time with my best friend. Wrong place to come. It would be worth driving to Orlando to get better hospitality. We got green tea pedicures and it said it was 35 minutes. The massage was about 3-4 minutes ( not 10) and the whole thing was done in less 30 minutes. They rushed us to get up when we were done, but didn't have any chairs available for us to dry our nails. My friend's polish was sloppy and had polish all on her skin around her toes. She had to ask him to fix it and he got an attitude and said you only get good service if you get the $40 pedicure, not the $35. read more
