Such an amazing homely getaway !!! Everything from arrival to departure was such a pleasant experience. The staff in the office once you arrive are so patient and welcoming, so checking in was so easy !!! If you have any issues in your suite or questions about locks, they will gladly come over and assist you. The excellent cleanliness of all the suite and the attention to detail to making your stay comfortable is outstanding !!! The rooms are spacious, very clean, full kitchen, large bathroom, very very comfortable bed, living room, dinning room, a nice balcony and chairs for you to enjoy view of the water, sunset and sunrise, easy access to boardwalk and gazebo on small pier. Also with access to a large swimming pool and hot tub for relaxation... Another plus is it's located between Manteo and Kitty Hawk, so you have plenty of options of places to go for drinks, a good meal, sight seeing, or for a good time in the water. If you are planning to come out here do keep them in mind for a great and comforting stay. Do inquire about specials for special events and specials rooms. Great hotel that is centrally located in OBX. Stayed here for a few days with a view of the Sound. The entire experience was relaxing. We stayed in one of the suites with a separate bedroom, which worked out great. There was a lot of space to spread out. Something minor to some but I loved being able to self-park close to the room. We stayed here for 3 nights while getting in a little spring surf fishing. This is an excellent little motel with very nice suites available. It is located on the Causeway, very near Lone Cedar Seafood Restaurant. The suites are well sized, bright, and very attractively decorated. The king size bed was one of the most comfortable I've found in a motel. The bathroom has a jetted tub, abd a separate shower with an outstanding shower head. There is a nice kitchen area, as well. The only negative is that it is on the Causeway so there is some road noise, but this is still a nice place, and we'd definitely stay here again. read more

This is a great place to stay! My husband surprised me with a trip here for our anniversary! We had a water front suite and it was wonderfully appointed. The hostess was so kind and efficient. Truth be told, I was nervous as this is the first overnight I've done anywhere besides home since the pandemic lockdown. There was access to a private walkway and the sunset views were surreal. It was quiet with only the sound of the water and occasional seagull. You are close to town for dining options, groceries (beer) or whatever else you need, It's reasonably priced and recommended. We saw that they offer wedding packages, this would be a perfect venue! read more

We found this charming hotel through a Google search, and we were not disappointed. The hotel is amazing and right on the bay. We had a room that opened up to the board walk, and had a lovely view. The staff was super friendly and made great recommendations on places to check out. The room was very clean, and housekeeping did a great job. We stayed here for our Anniversary and really enjoyed our stay. When booking the room, just ask for the water side and not the street side. The room we stayed in was gorgeous and really well done. They even had chocolate covered strawberry's for us (by request)! Our room had a full kitchen and the kitchen was completely stocked. It was nice to have an ice maker for cold drinks. This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The entire hotel is gorgeous! You MUST book a suite facing the sound... the view is gorgeous and listening to the water lap against the pier from your balcony is the ultimate! (the other side does have a view but its on the street side and pretty noisy) The rooms are exceptionally clean and the kitchen fully stocked! Plenty of towels, linens, blankets, soaps, etc... They don't offer a continental breakfast but they do have small danishes and a kuerig w/ a nice selection of coffee/tea/cocoa I wished we'd have stayed more than just the one night. We'll just have to come back! I would stay here again in a heart beat! read more

I'd like to give this place more stars. Everything was beautiful and clean! Comfortable and clean. My only problems was after 2 nights we asked for a change of sheets. They usually only do it every 5 days. Since we asked they did do it. Stupidly, I didn't check the sheets before going to bed and woke up to a bloody cover street. It was really scary and gross! They did apologize. Too late now, I already slept under them all night. They have just one washer and dryer for the whole place. The dryer was broken all week. They said they were waiting for a part. They don't offer any type of breakfast or snack machines. The office closes early along with all the stores in the area. If you need anything overnight you are SOL. The people here are so friendly. The towels were changed on the regular along with the trash. It was great having two large comfy beds. It was weird that one of them was in the living room. There two couches, a dining table, a stove w/ dishes, a fridge, a balcony and a jetted tub w/ shower. The bad thing is one of the burners on the stove were broken and when we cooked any smoke would make the smoke alarm sound because they were over sensitive. We just opened the patio door. I really liked this place overall. I'd stay again when I can take advantage of their pool and hot tub! read more

To celebrate our anniversary , my bf booked a room with a "water view" in nags head to enjoy the water and near by beaches . However , what we got was a room that faced a busy road and sad views of a weak wetland next to a parking lot. To start, we were welcomed by an enthusiastic and very kind receptionist , she took our information and as we were about to go the owner of the hotel steps out and rudely speaks to her to ask if she got our credit card info ( which she did). Not only was she speaking to her like she was dumb , but she was just overall unnecessarily rude . We felt pretty bad .Later on in our stay, we were heading back to our room when she stopped us before getting on the parking level elevator and asked if we were staying in the hotel (?!) Now, I don't expect management to remember everyone who stays in the hotel, but this is a small establishment and we had clearly just pulled in with the hotel parking voucher in our window... it was an odd experience . The room itself was beautiful , and well done. The decor was nice and the place was extremely clean, I also thought the second vanity was a nice feature. The noise from the road at night was a bit overbearing and the tv's didn't have a DVD player or a movie channel . Usually this wouldn't be a problem, but it did rain during our stay and we were limited in our options. If you do book a room , make sure that it faces the rear of the property where the actual water views are; it's very pretty. Also, the food in the area was pretty phenomenal! We would highly recommend Lone Cedar Cafe for seafood !! Overall, I wouldn't stay here again. Although the room was nice , I feel like it was wrongfully advertised as a water view room just because there was water across the street. In addition to the odd character of the owner , I probably couldn't find another reason to stay here again . read more

This place is fantastic! Definitely a gem amongst the kit hotels that are usually found in these areas. We stayed in the family suite which said it slept 6 but in reality could have slept 8 because there was a pull out couch in the living room. It had a full kitchen complete with microwave convection oven (Score!), utensils, pots&pans, the works. The bathroom had a shower stall and jacuzzi bathtub. The furniture and complete decor were very luxurious. The layout was very open. The living room and the kitchen were one area. The two additional queen beds also flowed from the same space. There was one enclosed room. There were two balconies one in each room. One minor thing I did not like was that our room was facing the street so it was a bit noisy sitting out in the balcony. But we were facing Roanoke Sound which was beautiful. I recommend that you ask that your room face the quieter side of the hotel. You will know which one I'm talking about when you get there. The staff were super friendly. They even provided us with a welcome package complete with free microwaved popcorn :). They have free coffee/tea and snacks in the lobby for all the guests. I'm not going to lie, it wasn't on the cheap side but if plan on staying with a bunch of people or a family with kids it is definitely worth the price. high five oasis suites! I have nothing but raves reviews of every aspect of this hotel. My mother, daughter and I stayed 3 days so we could tour the area. The location is conveniently located between Manteo and Kitty Hawk. The suites are beautiful, spacious and extremely clean. The view of the sound was beautiful and enjoyable from the large balcony. The entire staff, from the front desk to housekeeping, was kind, professional and eager to help with anything we needed. The feeling of that you are a true guest and genuine appreciation is something that you will not get at a corporate hotel. read more

My boyfriend surprised me with a trip to the Outer Banks for the weekend and we stayed at Oasis Suites Hotel. The suites are amazing. Very luxurious. As I stepped in, I was surprised with roses, champagne and rose petals leading to the bedroom. The suite was huge and we had an amazing view of the Roanoke Sound. The staff at the front desk were very friendly. They helped us find things to do while it was off season. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who plans on spending a romantic time at the Outer Banks. read more

We came to the Outer Banks having really no idea what to expect, but we wanted a "nice" room, so we opted for the Oasis Suites. Because in the photos on their website they had chairs on the balcony. Seriously - that's why. I just wanted to sit on the balcony overlooking the water and have my tea in the morning and cocktails at sunset. A girl can dream. I was so windy that it never really happened comfortably - tho I tried! But no matter, the room was beautiful. The beds were comfortable. The spa tub was most welcome. And the desk staff was so sweet and helpful. And the location turned out to be perfect for us. I will generally always choose oceanfront when available, but I really didn't want to stay at a major hotel chain and the independent beach places all looked really run down - especially given the money they wanted. It wasn't quite season yet and it was super windy & cold, so I knew we wouldn't make it to the beach, anyway. This way, I was still on the water (get a room in the back) and close to all of the places we wanted to go. The only downside is the walls are super thin. I heard the guy in the next room snoring! Luckily, there was another bed in the living room (hence the plural beds). There was a wedding party there during our stay. I would suggest, for those prices, that the property be adults only. Thin walls and wailing children suck. I'd still go back. read more

We had a great experience at the beautiful Oasis Suites! My bridesmaids and I spent the night before our wedding having a girl party, and the fridge and appliances were perfect for snacks and drinks, plus all the incredibly comfortable beds were perfect. The suite gave us lots of places to take photos and get ready the next morning, and the balcony was a wonderful addition, with a sound view. Knowing that it was a wedding event, the staff was kind enough to bring an extra mirror and a stool for makeup and hair, without us even having to ask. We also got lots of extra towels and blankets. It was also perfect for the night of the wedding, surrounded by lots of gifts and wedding stuff. The bay windows and jet tub were also great aspects. It was definitely expensive, but since this was a special occasion, we were willing to splurge. If it's in your budget, I definitely recommend it! read more

We booked almost the entire hotel for a wedding to be held at Festival Park ( a short drive away). The staff at the hotel were accommodating and pleasant. The rooms were beautiful and the views spectacular! It worked out perfectly for the bride and groom to be on separate floors while getting ready for the big day. There was plenty of room for 2 hair stylists and 2 makeup artists for 14 women to be glamorized! The kitchens allowed us to have cold beverages and platters of food. The beds were super comfy and bathrooms were luxurious! Highly recommend this establishment! read more

This place was amazing!! Perfect for a romantic weekend getaway. The staff was super friendly, and the rooms were gorgeous! We had a room overlooking the sound and it was just beautiful. The jacuzzi tub was a nice, relaxing touch, and the beds were oh so cozy. The place was super clean, and it really felt like a Covid safe getaway. Only two little side notes to mention. On the first night the elevator did smell like cigarette smoke, but this may have just been from someone smoking outside that wafted into the elevator. Also, the TVs were quite dated, however we were not there to spend time watching TV, especially when there is such a beautiful water view to look at. I only mention in case that is important to someone else looking for a place to stay. Overall it was an absolutely wonderful visit and I wish we could have stayed longer. Will most certainly return next time we are in the area. Keep up the great work! read more

After staying at a few 1-star places on the Outer Banks, we were absolutely thrilled to discover this place. It was a wonderful place for a romantic getaway. It offered just the right mix- comfy, cozy, (a bit luxurious) rooms, fantastic views of the sound, and an accessible location to entertainment/adventure. We enjoyed champagne on the balcony at sunset and coffee at sunrise. We had a jacuzzi hot tub in our room and a full kitchen. It was really difficult finding the "right" place for us using the web. I would highly, highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great place to stay where comfort and nice amenities is a priority. I should also mention the staff at the front desk are wonderful. read more

This is our second time staying at the Oasis. I have thoroughly enjoyed both stays. The hotel isn't very big which I like and was quiet during both of our stays. If you don't like the sound of the road I would recommend getting a room on the backside of the hotel, however I do have two children and we weren't affected by the noise. They have a salt water pool which we really enjoy! The rooms are extremely clean and the views are beautiful. They have a kitchenette which comes in handy. The extra vanity is also nice. The sunsets are gorgeous. The hotel manager is very sweet and accommodating. My husband and I like how it's on the outskirts of nags head. My two boys love the spa tub in the room! Overall our stays are always wonderful and we can't wait to return! Would deff recommend staying at the Oasis! read more

I cannot begin to describe what an incredible and relaxing experience it was to sit on that big beautiful porch drinking a glass of wine with a gorgeous view of the water and gazebo. I took every opportunity to sit on that deck. The room was large and luxurious with a kitchen. The staff was warm and welcoming. I'm only disappointed that it was time to depart. The four of us stayed 2 nights in 2 separate suites. Roomy, quiet, comfortable with a nice staff. No food, but a Keurig Coffee machine in the lobby along with Danish in the morning to wake you up before you go off for breakfast. Nice view and convenient parking. Full-size kitchen if you're staying for an extended period of time. Our 2 suites each had 2 queen size beds in separate rooms so it's good for a family. We'd come back again. read more

Beautiful suites and excellent location. Very friendly staff. I think what makes this place unique are the balconies, high quality beds and furniture, the size of the bathroom, and the outdoor pool and hot spa. The bathroom has an extra large shower stall and a whirlpool/jacuzzi large sized tub. The kitchen had all of the kitchen utensils to cook. There was a standard large pot coffee maker, an extra large overheadmicrowave, and a large fridge. I am not sure if there were an oven or dishwasher because we didn't need them. The outdoor pool was huge! Outdoor "clean" restrooms at the pool site. Plenty of room for a family of 6-8 to sit. 100% clean! A couple reasons why I gave 4 stars: An employee transferred my clothes from the washer to the dryer. I came out to transfer the clothes 35 mins after I put them in. She put the dryer on high heat and I had delicates in there that shrink easily. I also do not dry my bras. She had just started the load, so no damage done. I appreciate the fact that the employee was being helpful, but I don't like people touching my personal items. I would much more prefer that if I needed to transfer them as soon as they were done, to simply knock on my door. They weren't sitting too long if that were the case, because I deliberately waited 35 mins, which is how long my washer takes at home. And then parents be aware: the outdoor wooden walkway platform does not have a double railing, and it is completely open to the ocean. My kids ran ahead to get to the pier and I immediately see the danger of a kid tripping and/ or falling in to the ocean, and there is a two feet drop. Again, very nice and friendly staff. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel!! The price was more than reasonable. I will be staying again given the opportunity! read more

My husband and I stayed here to attend our nephew's wedding at Festival Park in Manteo. What a gorgeous and comfortable place! And, the sound views...well, were spectacular! Special shout out to Beverly for her warm welcome!!! My husband (in remission from leukemia) had just had a successful bone marrow transplant in August. So this trip was also a time for celebration. Beverly was able to upgrade our room and we were most grateful. We also were kindly attended to by Betty Lou. Both women were the true essence of southern hospitality! In advance of the wedding, we also referred the bride and groom to this "oasis". They spent their wedding night and were equally pleased with the hospitality! A wonderful little spot to stay for your vacation or to have a wedding. There was a wedding while I was there on the gazebo overlooking the water. The staff is the friendliest you will find ANYWHERE. They were more than accommodating and were excited to give us ideas for food and things to do on the OBX. The hotel is very close to Jeanettes fishing pier, the beach at the pier, the town of Manteo, and the town of Nags Head. Jockeys ridge is also very close by. The fishing was pretty good right from the dock at the hotel. Bring some shrimp and a fishing rod. There is a pool and hot tub also. I can't recommend this place enough. read more

Yes, it is not on the beach but during the winter months the sound view from the suite is great. Amenities are a bit lacking - cheap toiletries from China - take your own. This is a spectacular hotel/suite. We had such a great time and the room was amazing. I loved the parking, the deck, the gazebo, and the staff-- and just unbelievable views. They are near everything but at a little distance (.5 miles) from all the hustle and bustle so you can get rest. I was there during the hurricane and, while terrified of Hurricane Arthur, felt safe at Oasis. I can't say enough about the staff. So welcoming, helpful and reassuring . From the manager to those cleaning the room, just some class act folks. The place is well maintained and very clean. It was a bit noisy from the room next door but the front desk handled that. The soaps and the jacuzzi and the separate shower was great. And me and my fiance loved the double sinks! It pains me to write this review because I don't want the word to get out! I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I am a professional who wanted to surprise my father with a beach get away for Christmas but the hotel is a complete rip off. The day I booked my trip I asked the receptionist if it was okay if more than two people stayed in the suite (that accommodated 6) the woman said it was no problem. We arrived on Christmas night and the property manager then told me it was an additional $100 for two children. Since it was Christmas night and we had just driven 3.5 hours, I had very little choice but to pay (especially since they would have charged me for my stay regardless of me staying or leaving). On top of the bait and switch on the price, I looked outside and realized that we are on a pier! No sand, no beach just pier! When I entered the room it was pretty but everything except the furniture was cheap. Toilet paper was 1 ply, no dish rack in the kitchenette (not a full-size kitchen), no salt/pepper to cook with and cheap towels and toiletries. To top it off I am currently sitting in my room listening to a fire alarm at 9am. Relaxing, this place is not. Not worth the price, yes. I have stayed in much better places than this for much better value. Save your money and your peace of mind because apparently the Travel Lodge would be better than this. read more
