Since Nordstrom moved out it's just so eerie. Not a lot going on. I happened to come in as I was checking out a potential new gym which is coming in - Club Studio - and they're going to be pretty huge and take the old Bloomingdales space, people were super friendly and helpful so hopefully that will help but Santa Monica is gonna need a lot more investment in order to drive the people back to shop in person because there is really no good selection of stores of value - just a few boutiques and some brands like Nike or Johnny Was or Paige. Din Tai Fung and Cheesecake on the top floor which is great but other than that... let's hope for more stores in the future.

Anchor stores Bloomingdale's and Nordstrom closed recently. They do have upscale tenants like Tiffany & Co., Louis Vuitton, Tory Burch, COACH and AllSaints. There are also places to eat like Din Tai Fung and Cheesecake Factory. The Cayton Children's Museum is a fun entertainment option for kids. Santa Monica Place is three levels and has a L.A. Metro Rail stop nearby.

I had to make multiple trips across the road as I came alone and could only lift 1 item at a time and they just ignored my presence whenever I came back to grab the rest of the stuff. Edit: I can confirm they asked me where I parked however it was just that and was not offered help carrying items. They just asked if I had parked close by and I responded with that I parked somewhat close across the street and the conversation ended there. I do apologize for the lateness on picking up the order however I was not aware of the order until yesterday when I was asked to pick it up.
