Sausage pizza (sorry I forgot what it was called on the menu) but it's amazing!

Success! Ratatouille moment when I took a bite of their pizza. Sooo good my 10 year old ate her entire pizza! My girlfriend had the caprese salad and it was just as amazing. Definitely Something to be said about their mozzarella. We've been her for 3 days and this may be the first restaurant we visit twice! Staff was polite and friendly, even gave great recommendations.

It was one of the places in Piazza Navona. Not our first choice but it turned out very good. The service was great and the taste of the cheese and prosciutto, including the pizza afterwards was delicious. Very good food quality. The price was like every place around. We also had two wines by glass. It is a good option.

Buffalo cheese salad sampler: from top right -- stracciatelli, mild, ricotta, smoked and intense in the middle.

For a slightly different dining experience in Rome, visitors should give Obica Mozzarella Bar a try, especially if buffalo milk mozzarella is something you enjoy. There are several of these around the city, I think these comments would apply to all their locations. For buffalo mozzarella fans, this place is especially fun and interesting because you are introduced to a variety of cheeses made from buffalo milk from different regions: light flavored, intense flavored, smoked, in ricotta form, as burrata and, my favorite, stracciatella. The stracciatella was so good, I had to return several times to get more of it. Unlike the other forms, this buffalo milk cheese has a liquidity consistency that put me off initially, until I tasted it and became a devotee. Aside from the cheese offerings, the menu items I sampled were rather nice for a casual and reasonably priced dining experience. The service was very accommodating to my many queries about the menu items. Pizza is not the focus of this restaurant, so I would discount the earlier negative comments regarding such. Don't go there for pizza. Go for their buffalo milk products and other non-pizza offerings. One final note, the desserts are quite good, enough for me to violate my low carb diet. And that takes serious temptation before I relent.

5 stars for Mozz...4 Stars for Overall Menu + Service Obica [Campo dei Fiori, Roma] has a special place in my heart due to its location in one of my favorite piazza's in Italy and it being one of my first experiences with mozzarella sourced from Italy - Bufala Campana DOP. Obica flaunts an extensive menu with offerings of pizza, tuscan bean soup (which is delicious and a great starter!) and full entree's, but where it shines is in its core business... MOZZARELLA! If you're going with three or more people, I'd recommend diving right into the Gran Degustazione paired with Prosciutto Crudo di Parma DOP and a bottle of Rosé. It is all so reasonably priced and with exchange rates at almost a 1:1 on the USD, you'll be pleasantly surprised when you walk out for less than $100. Before you jump in face first into the selection of cheese that will be presented to you which will leave you satisfied for hours, make sure to stop at Forno just a few doors away. It is hands down the best pizza in Roma and will get your metabolism in the mood for a bowl of Stracciatella from Puglia (my personal favorite!) If you find yourself in Rome wandering around wondering where to hit next, Campo dei Fiori is the perfect piazza to hit around 12PM. The daily market is second to none and an outdoor seat at Obica will allow you prime real estate for people watching. Here it is... OBICA!

AmaZing food and staff! Heart of Campo de forni! Absolutely a must, amazing mozzarella and bread. We sat on the patio in a vicious rain storm and had a great experience; no joke. This place is worth it! .

Nice little spot right in the Campo di Fiore section of Rome. Right in the piazza and came highly recommended to me! Wine was delicious, mozzarella bar was amazing. And the ravioli impeccable. Staff was attentive and very kind.

Amazing staff and even better food!! Appeared you should make reservations but we stumbled to a table for 2. Our waitress was fun and energetic interactive with all her tables. Plus you get a view of the shoppers at the Campo dé Fiori. market. So many options from fresh mozzarella to pizza that requires 48hr rise time for crust.

This is a perfect place to relax and chill for a fantastic meal in a very cool setting. Low techno sets the stage as s non-traditional Italian restaurant- but the food is not a twist- it's a fresh start on Italian. You will find familiar favorites, like lasagna (called lasagnetta) and great pizzas but I hope you start with the mozzarella choices. We chose two types and we're amazed at the difference! I recommend the Soncinda salad- fresh avocado, beautifully roasted almonds, on top of a delicious rocket (salad). Staff was warm and good with English. Reasonably priced as well. Love this place!

Location: In Campo dei Fiori. The place: They have a great outdoor seating area that looks out onto Campo dei Fiori so you can people watch as you sip on a cold beverage. The food: So as the name states, this is a mozzarella bar therefore I only ordered cheese. I can't attest to anything else so I gave this a 3-star rating in the event that the other items are great (that'll be for you to decide). I ordered the Mozzarella di Bufala because I love that sh*t. I had my choice of what this would be served with so I opted for grilled vegetables and pesto. First, the Bufala was amazing. Now, when I buy this at home, I do buy it imported from Italy so taste-wise, it's very similar. Except that here, it's creamier and less salty. Absolutely delicious. The pesto was also pretty damn good and nothing like you would find back home. To my delight, I got some black olives thrown in and man what a treat for an olive-obsessed gal like me! Fantastic. All I'm going to say about that. The grilled vegetables however, were a different story. First, these only comprised of eggplant which I generally dislike, zucchini and artichoke leaves. These were all cold. I didn't like the artichoke leaves at all - they were very bitter. The other two veggies were ok but I doubt they were grilled on the spot since they were cold and limp. There was no olive oil or salt either - just grilled, somewhat dry veggies. So overall, the dish was mediocre but the cheese and pesto were great. I also got a basket of fresh Foccacia that was very good. The wine (of course) was a Leone from Sicily - way to represent! It was phenomenal! Service: Good. The norm over here is to let patrons enjoy their meals in peace so wait staff never tries to hurry you out. As such, they tend to go AWOL once your meal has been delivered. But, that can be a good thing. When I went to pay, I got the impression that the waitress was happy I was leaving though, so I don't know what that was about. Price point: Expensive for what you actually get. Find a more affordable place with higher quality food, otherwise just go for the cheese.

We stopped here for a quick lunch and stroll around the farmers market. They had heated outdoor seating and free Wifi- a plus! We were served a basket of warm foccacia bread. They were soft and delicious! I got a salad of arugula and simple greens with cured ham. It was delicious with a splash of salt, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. We also got a plate of mazzarella and grilled artichoke hearts, as yummy! Overall, this was a cute place and the menu was good.

Great breakfast spot to leisurely watch the campo fiore market setup. Their Italian breakfast set is best deal with fresh breads from local bakery and fruit cup. Great morning ambience under umbrellas in the sun!

Everyone needs a trip to Italy, if nothing more than to enjoy all of the food…read more When you've landed, you're hungry, and it's not lunch time, and it's not dinner time, you may end up, selling for whatever you can find is open We were absolutely starving, and wanting to indulge in our first Italian meal, what do you do when you're in Italy?! You may want to indulge in pasta or pizza! We walked in, and we were immediately seated. Air conditioning is nonexistent, and on a hot summer day, it would've been cooler to dine outside. had that been an option, and it was 95° out. As soon as we were seated, we were immediately told that Pizza and some of their baked Italian dishes were not going to be available. Boo. The wait staff seemed fairly nice, and offered to bring us glasses of water. The glasses were super tiny, and thankfully the waitress brought over a carafe of water. We asked for a few suggestions, since both of us had been craving pizza, and she suggested the Carbonara. She said it was one of the best dishes. While we were waiting for our food, several other tables were immediately filled up with other customers, families and friends alike. It was interesting that those tables were served pizza... I'll just leave it at that. The carbonara Was anything less than delicious. We both found the pasta to be barely cooked. Not al dente, but barely cooked. The seasoning was mediocre, and there was very little pork, which is supposed to be the highlight of this dish, in this dish. Diners tip: if you are not a local, keep in mind that your version of Customer Service may or may not fit what Customer Service is in Rome. Despite being hungry, I had a hard time, finishing the food, let alone actually eating it. The waitress only came over at the end to drop off the check, and when she noticed that I had barely eaten anything, first gave me a strange look, and then asked about it. It was definitely one of those situations where saying something was wrong would've been met with unwanted attention. This is in a place to add to your must try list... There are plenty of other places, even in and around this area that more than likely would be a better choice.
