Excellent service and the waiter spoke very good English. Tables outside and in, they didn't mind that we chose a different table than the one they pointed us to.
After getting settled, the waiter brought over the day's menu, which is a list of stuff written on a chalk board. In French, but most of it was very easy to figure out. We had a chicken salad, a hamburger maison ("house burger") and a bowl of onion soup. We also enjoyed a glass of the house red and two draft beers.
The food was excellent. While we weren't asked how we wanted the burger, it was a nice medium with a good amount of emmental cheese melted on it. The soup was thick and rich, the salad had a good portion of sliced roasted chicken and the right amount of dressing. While dining, another table had a nice plate of steak tartare that was rather tempting.
