It is a casual seafood restaurant located near gate B9. Their crab cakes are good. However, you can't get it à la carte. It always comes with 2 slices. My most recent visit here was yesterday when I had a 2-hour layover. The person who gave me the menu and took my order was pretty rude and unfriendly. I asked her a simple question and she responded with attitude. I just got an appetizer so I could go somewhere else. I got the Deviled Crab Balls and they were good. Having a layover in Baltimore with limited time, we were in search of a restaurant that served crab. Doing a quick Google search, we found this restaurant located right inside the airport. We started off with a couple appetizers. We definitely couldn't go back home without trying a crab cake. Unfortunately, there isn't a single crab cake option as an appetizer, but our server informed us the Deviled Crab Balls are the exact same recipe, just shaped into balls. These were disappointing. They were soft on the outside and mush on the inside. They reminded me of the frozen ones you would find at any supermarket, just deep fried. We also opted in for their Maryland Crab Soup which was also a disappointment. The flavours of the soup overpowered the taste of the crab. The crab was also shredded and not in lump pieces which reminded me of tined crab. For mains, I ordered the Jumbo Lump Crab Roll. It was nice to see this crab wasn't shredded and were good sized lumps. The only complaint here is I found the crab mixture to be too wet. Less aioli would have made the crab shine through but once again, the flavour of crab is muddled. This came with a side which I opted in for the cheese grits. This was a shock, it was crusty grits with shredded cheese thrown on top. Not even melted or incorporated into the grits. For her, she ordered the Quesadilla with chicken which was a greasy mess inside a tortilla. The crab ought to be the highlight of everything we ate but the flavours were close to non-existent which is a shame since this restaurant prides itself on crab. We found this restaurant to be overpriced but what isn't inside an airport? The only saving grace for our experience here is the service. I chose O'Brycki's because it was recommended by a TSA agent. I went to the one on Concourse B. I bellied up to the bar & the bartender was nice (but curt). The patrons were fantastic. The musical great and the seats comfortable. Since I was on the eastern seaboard, I tried the crabcakes. It was delicious. The bun was optional. The grits were mediocre. Overall I'm glad I stopped. Airports restaurants can be a hit or miss. The decor gave typical seafood restaurant which isn't a bad thing. It's familiarity. It was convenient to my gate, an added plus. I didn't want anything heavy nor a lot of food since I was prepping to board my flight. Being a Southern girlie, I noticed the shrimp and grits but I'm weary of that dish outside of being home in the Lowcountry. So I opted for a bowl of cheesy grits. It's a seat yourself restaurant and it took a while for me to be greeted or served but my server did apologize. She was super friendly and we even struck up a conversation. My grits came HOT as they should and creamy. They were a little different tasting like maybe heavy cream or milk were used (I'm not a fan of using either in my grits.) but nevertheless they weren't horrible. read more

My late grandmother was from Maryland and was the undisputed queen of crabcakes. So when I saw this place on a long layover at BWI, I was jazzed. Plus, one of the greatest crab cake places I've ever been to, G&M, is just a few miles from the airport; my ex has literally flown cross-country from California just to eat there. This is not that. For 36 bucks, I would expect more than a silver dollar-sized cake. But far more disappointing was the quality of the meat - it smelled and tasted fishy. Should've sent it back after the first bite. The slaw was disgusting; I almost spit it out. The "cheese grits" were just ... grits, on top of which somebody had sprinkled a pinch of pre-shredded cheddar straight from the bag. Y'all, Maryland may not really be the South, but that is not how to prepare cheese grits. They need TLC. Even the tartar sauce was disgusting! I do have to shout out the server, who was friendly and prompt. But aside from that, this was probably the single-worst airport meal I've ever had, anywhere. #Fail. read more

She says they're spicier than how they usually season their crab cakes but it's a smaller portion so I went for it and I'm glad I did. There's only 4 crab balls but they were really good and not dry. It came with red cocktail dipping sauce that has some horseradish that complimented them well. Served on a bed of lettuce with no dressing. It was the perfect snack. Julius my server today was great! I had a long layover so I stayed in the restaurant most of the time I was at BWI. WHENEVER YOURE IN MARYLAND GET A CRAB CAKE (preferably lump crab cakes) I ordered the crab Benedict with potato tots. Which were two mini crab cakes and hollandaise sauce, egg in English muffins. Had an extended layover, but not long enough to go off campus for one of my favorite places, so I decided to give Obrycki's a shot. Glad I did! I had the Maryland crab soup, and crabcake with tater tots and a Caesar salad. My preference is for creamy she crab soup, but their rendition of the red Maryland version was pretty good. Where the plate shined was with their crabcake. I would not expect to have a crabcake of that quality in an airport! My husband and I had a 2 hr layover at BWI yesterday evening and decided to stop into Obrycki's for a quick bite and a drink. It was conveniently located on the concourse between the gate where we landed and gate B3, where our connecting flight was boarding. We were greeted warmly and sat immediately. Goldie was our server and she was fast and fun. We ordered the crab soup and some deviled crab balls. Surprisingly, the soup was spicier than the balls, which were advertised as being spicy, but were not. I was a little disappointed by that and I felt that the crab balls deserved its own dipping sauce, like a remoulade, but it was served with cocktail and tartar sauce. The cocktail sauce was just ok with the balls. There really isn't much ambiance being that this place is located smack-dab in the middle of an airport, but we appreciated the fast, friendly service. The GM even stopped by our table to ensure that everything was good. They had lots of crab options. If I come there again, I'm definitely trying the warm crab dip! One thing that brought their rating down was the prices. We ordered two appetizers and two alcoholic beverages. Our bill was $100. That brought the rating down a bit. read more

To start... I'm at the airport for 8 hour layover and we have been watching mice crawl out of the walls and all over the chairs and tables at this location. Multiple people have been sitting at the tables throughout the night. My sister and myself went over as well. Just so happens we were the last ones there and instead of nicely asking us to move she starts right off with an attitude. Before we left I thought I would be nice and tell her she has mice coming out of her walls and she blames it on Dunkin across the way. Again we watched them for hrs coming out of their walls. Feel like I've been on a bit of a less than five star roll here lately. I went here for a quick breakfast after looking at all the options in terminal A-C. This seemed like the most interesting. I got the breakfast with eggs, cheese grits, English muffin and a crab cake. It was like 35.00. I know it's the airport, but that's crazy business. Crazy. Stopped by here while at BWI. Got the sparkling guava margarita which was absolutely horrible. I had to ask for more guava puree in mine. The drink was not shaken so it tasted like something different with every sip. I also had the shrimp tacos which was equally as bad. The shrimp had little to no flavor and the taco was drenched in some sauce which was supposed to give it flavor. I barely touched the tacos. The service was just okay as I sat by the bar. Doesn't deserve 3.5 stars! Oh, not the meal you want before a looong flight. Food: I wanted crab and am gluten free, so ended up with crab basted in mayo on salad. It was not the fresh, lumpy, lightly seasoned crabmeat I was hoping for. Instead, it was drenched and I'm not sure how fresh. Fries were also disappointing (maybe a little stale?). At $30, or any price point really, just so sad. Service: We had to ask the hostess multiple times to ask about allergies before deciding to eat there, and I wish we'd taken that as a hint to walk away. Our waitress was nice enough but wasn't very attentive and didn't check on our satisfaction. Maybe because she knew it was low? Ambiance: Pub vibes in an airport. Dark, older/traditional. Not very full despite restaurant style seating. Again, maybe these were hints I missed. Edible but just barely. So disappointing- especially at an unreasonably high price point. this used to be my favorite spot for a drink while waiting to depart. today 6/29/25, 2:29 in the afternoon I encountered the rudest bartender EVER! I ordered a double Makers , and a coke. to me that's pretty clear but apparently i was not. fine, i'll do better but no, she makes a show by slinging the drink into a sink . she then tells me as she remakes the drinks that i had ordered incorrectly. she continues by walking up with the drink and informing me that she makes these drinks all day and that i should be specific when ordering. We ordered drinks and food. I had the shrimp and crab flatbread and she had the crispy shrimp tacos. The food came out in a decent amount of time and was well prepared and the presentation was regular. The food was good, nothing to rave about. Wow, it's not often that I get excited about a restaurant in an airport! There are a few airports I go to that mainly have local restaurants show up, but they are few & far between. I'm a sucker for crab cakes so when I was waiting for a layover in BWI (Baltimore IS known for their crabcakes), I had to try this out. My friend from Baltimore who is the biggest crabcake snob I know may have scoffed, but I really enjoyed it. It was much larger than I expected and the crab meat to loaf ratio was much better as well. I was a bit underwhelmed with the lack luster sides, but I was here for the crabcake sandwich and didn't go away disappointed. Service was quick and got an immediate seat - likely due to the crazy high prices. But again, it was an airport. This was a quick no frills airport lunch but the crab cake was pretty good. It was kind of dense which I'm not used to but I could not deny the flavor was top notch. The service was quick and friendly and my food came out quick as well. This was recommended to me by a coworker and it did not disappoint!
