Fried Whole Fish[Striped Bass] with Jasmine Rice & Cucumber Salad

This was my first visit to Rusty Scupper, however, it will definitely not be my last. Every aspect of our dining experience was first class. The service was courteous, attentive, extremely professional & our server was very astute concerning every aspect of our dining experience, from assisting us with menu choices to making sure we had appropriate take out containers for our leftovers. Our server was prepared for any & all questions & concerns we voiced. The food was delightful. Every dish we tried was absolutely bursting with flavor. The whole fried fish I ordered was cooked perfectly. It was crunchy on the outside with tender, flaky flesh on the inside. The spices that encapsulated the fish enhanced the overall flavor of the dish. It was some of the best fish I have had the pleasure of eating. My husband had the crab cakes & he stated that they were full of actual crab meat & not filler. I was very impressed that the restaurant offered a free calamari appetizer if you sign up for emails. The calamari was also very light & tasted great. We ordered the Parmesan Truffle fries as an appetizer also & they were crunchy and cooked perfectly & also very flavorful. We ended our meal sharing a Mexican coffee. It was yummy & the perfect ending to a perfect meal. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Finally, the view, decor & ambiance of the restaurant were all breathtaking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is situated at a quiet part of the Inner Harbor. So we were able to enjoy our meal with a beautiful view of the harbor away from the usual hustle & bustle of the harbor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Rusty Scupper is definitely a restaurant I recommend trying if you are in Baltimore. You definitely will not be disappointed.

Came here after spending the day at the aquarium and we are glad we made the walk around the harbor to get here. Service was great, our server was super cool and helpful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is more upscale and has an incredibly nice view.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We got lucky there was an air show so there were navy jets flying by the entire time we were there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was very good, I got the crab stuffed shrimp, my wife got blackened rockfish, and my sister got the fry basket. We also got oysters to start. Prices are a little steep here but given the location and ambiance, it's expected. Either way we had a great time and meal. I'd recommend this place to someone visiting Baltimore.

Had a really good lunch here. The salmon and vegetables were cooked well and the service was great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The view of the water was perfect as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Rusty Scupper was my first time visiting, and I have to say--the all-you-can-eat buffet brunch is top notch. The variety alone makes it worth it, but the quality seals the deal. My favorite was the omelette station (I'm an omelette guy), and they did not disappoint. Fresh, made-to-order, and exactly how you want it. If you're into seafood or southern fried catfish, you'll be in heaven--they've got it all covered. Drinks included with the price $67 person! Crazy deal! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also had a live pianist playing, which added a smooth, classy vibe to the whole experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is relaxed, the bathrooms are clean, and everything felt well put together.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'll definitely be back. If you're looking for a solid brunch spot in Baltimore with great food and a nice waterfront feel, this is it. Oh yeah and the service was good.

It's all about the food! (The view of the Inner Harbor was pretty great too.) I had the best crab cake I've had in Maryland, and only $20 during happy hour. For non-seafood diners, I can recommend the roasted spiced chicken, with collard greens and cornbread. We took our server's recommendation for dessert, and the blackberry lemon coffee cake did not disappoint. I can't wait to eat here again!

Went to the Rusty Scupper for the first time today for Valentines Day dinner. They had a wonderful prix fixed menu for the holiday. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a beautiful setting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My only reason for lower score was because they sat us in the table all the way to the end. My husband's view for the evening was the parking garage.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We enjoyed the food all the same. My husband had the calamari to start (a healthy portion - we had leftovers). I had the half & half crab soup. It was a bit salty but went well with the delicious bread that they had. He had the sea bass (beautifully cooked). Nice and light. I had the lobster. We had the cheesecake and tiramisu for dessert. The food left us full. A satisfying meal.

Came back recently during happy hour just for a drink and a crab cake, and had a great experience. I enjoyed the Rusty Scupper Ale which was refreshing, and an absolutely delicious crab cake with large chunks of crab. We were also served bread which is just as good as I remembered from our prior visit. Our waitress was also super friendly and checked on us frequently. This is definitely one of my favorite spots in Baltimore for a nice dinner, and I look forward to coming back again when I'm in town.

Was in Baltimore for a day and wanted to make sure we got crab cakes before leaving. We had been walking around the inner harbor for a while and made our way over. We didn't get full dinner as we had another planned stop before flying home but that didn't impact service. Crab cakes were great. Large lumps of meat and not much filler. I also had the cream of crab soup. It was delicious and had a generous amount of lump crab meat. The Rusty Scupper ale was good too. Dinning area has a great view of the harbor area.

Birthday celebration with the Family....And, this restaurant couldn't have been more fitting!! From the views, ambiance and fantastic menu....I have no complaints! Rusty Scupper has been around since the ages of time at the Baltimore Harbor. I remember coming here in the 90's ( yes, dating myself...lol) and was surprised that they are still around and one on the original "OG's'" here at the Baltimore Harbor! We were a Family of Ten and were accommodated to the upmost. Never had to wait for a server and the customer service was on point. It could not have been better!! We were sat at a window table with a great view of the harbor. Our server was prompt and attentive (Bellinis galore!). We were here for the brunch layout. The food was fantastic!! Ham, prime rib and lamb carving station, seafood. custom omelets, fantastic buffet spread of delicious food...of all the breakfast classics and comfort food eats. And of course.....The Seafood!! Oysters, shrimp, crab & lobster.....you name it....they served it. In all, our food was top notch. Our severs were very attentive.... helpful and pleasant but not overbearing. Our water glasses and drinks were never emptied. Between the quality of the food and customer service, it could not have been a better experience! Thank you Rusty Scupper! I would recommend for the Sunday Brunch, any casual dining while in the area or special occasion! The vibe is great and the food is delicious. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food and left completely with Buddha rubbing--full bellies and satisfied. Will be back!! Thank you Rusty Scupper for the outstanding food and service! Will be back for sure.

Wonderful experience! We came in on a Sunday night and it could not have been more perfect. We had the Tuna Carpaccio, Crab Cake, Shrimp and Grits, Scallops and Crab Fettuccine. All were great and very flavorful. The shiitake mushrooms and truffle puree surrounding the scallops was divine. The scallops were unfortunately quite over cooked but regardless it was still a highly enjoyable meal. Service was great and our waiter could not have been better with the host staff being incredibly welcoming as well. Ambiance was perfect, not overly crowded and stunning views. Overall I would definitely come back next time I am in Baltimore and would recommend anyone do so!

I was recently vising Baltimore and [[HIGHLIGHT]]we decided to venture over to Rusty Scupper for a nice romantic dinner with a view of the water which was breath taking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] To start we shared the JUMBO LUMP CRAB CAKE $30 grain mustard beurre blanc and the CHEF'S SELECT OYSTERS* MP cocktail sauce, lemon, classic mignonette, and PAN-SEARED SCALLOPS $53 roasted Shiitake mushrooms, sunchoke & truffle puree, asparagus sunchoke crisps, chive oil. For our entree we shared the LUMP CRAB FETTUCCINE $39 fettucine pasta, lump crab meat, shallots, cream sauce. The entire meal was amazing! Rusty Scupper is definitely a restaurant that is a place to come back to.

By far the BEST BRUNCH location in Baltimore! It is so yummy and delicious! I don't even know where to start. When you get there there's private parking that you unfortunately have to pay for but your car is safe and right at the restaurant so I get it. When you arrive you're greeted by multiple staff and MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A RESERVATION! I showed up once and forgot and they were already overbooked but they booked us for the following Sunday. The food selections change with different themes sometimes so it's not just the exact same menu every time. We went during Mardi and the food was so good. The restaurant is inspired by a ship of course so the interior is so beautiful and reminds you of a very regal cruise ship. From start to finish it's just exceptional all around. One of my favorite places for brunch! I highly highly recommend coming here!

Is parking free at the restaurant?

No, parking is not free. Reduced rate of $9.00 per day at the lower level parking garage with Rusty Scupper validation.

Do you take walk-in during Saturday brunch or do we need reservations?

You must make reservations. I learned the hard way my first time abs had to leave.

Is there a kids menu? My kids are 10 but still eat like toddlers 🤦🏽‍♀️

Not sure if there is a kids menu since we did not have any small children with us. I know the dinner menu provided did not include any kid choices. I am thinking that they do but it is a separate menu that you have to ask for. Hope this helps!

Is there an outdoor deck with a view where one can enjoy a drink or two ? And where is the best…

There's no outdoor seating, but inside you can get just as good as a view. Also park in the garage and take your ticket in to get it validated.

I wouldn't wear cargo shorts but that's because I don't consider them casual dress. A lightweight pair of slacks, maybe linen blend and a polo shirt is more of my idea of casual. Plus you're going to be indoors so it's cool. You only need to walk… Read more

I've been giving out a lot of 5 stars recently, but this is a place that really deserves it. It's a must visit. It'd been many moons since I had escargot, so I got it. Despite one cooked snail being basically impossible to scrape out and my fine motor dexterity isn't great, it was delightful. My wife loved her seafood stew. Our shared side of the grilled Zucchini (definitely enough to share) was also a highlight. We've been raving about our fried clam sandwich and lobster roll since. Both were amazing; my wife said it was the best lobster roll she's had (we've never been to maine or anywhere known for lobster). The dessert passion fruit pie was a great way to end, also shared, but the crust was a little too thick and the dollop on top did kind of over power the curd. The ambience is very cute - there are multiple floors to the restaurant so one given area doesn't feel overly crowded. The cocktail menu has some fun and unique options and the food menu has something for everyone! We got the mussels to start, and honestly I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture. But the sauce was delicious and I loved the potatoes that came with it. The mussels themselves were very large too! For my main I got the hake, which was so tender and flavorful. It was a generous portion and I was stuffed, but we kept seeing other people order the coffee cake and couldn't help ourselves. I'm so glad we got it, because I'm not normally huge into coffee cake, but this was so delicious that we finished it all! Our server had great recommendations and was patient as we took a long time deciding what to order. I can't wait to come back!

She left us with no attempt at an apology and promptly put reserved signs on all the open tables. When we left an hour later, one booth and 4 two-tops had never been used. Much to our dismay, we saw people seated outside even though we had received a text before arriving saying the patio was closed for the evening. To add insult to injury, even half empty, the noise level was so uncomfortable since everything was tile, marble, or wood that the alarm sensor on my smart watch sounded because of the decibel level.
