Way too expensive for coloring. My hair is long and thick and they said the base price was $60 with $1 for every extra ounce. "Ok," i thought, "so probably around my usual $110-$120 that I've paid at other salons. Nope! Somehow the bill (with haircut) was $225! By that point, I had no choice but to pay but I felt ripped off. They need to be more transparent with their pricing -- and also do better quality. The color was a couple shades too dark from what it was before and she didn't even do my roots thoroughly; they were still visible in some spots. Won't ever return. read more

I went in to bleach my semi permanent brown hair (which essentially means easier to bleach through) ombré (the bottom color was bleach blonde). I told her I wanted multiple blonde highlights but no brown at my root and all over blonde but with dimensions. She dyed my hair and as soon as she took the foils off, I said "wow there's a lot of brown in there," she said "yeah, that's because it's wet"she blowdried my hair and it was brown at the roots, and had a massive brass line in between where she failed to bleach evenly. She had to re-bleach my hair and then when I asked if she was going to put a toner in, to make it even. She said no. (To anyone who has blonde hair, you know you have to put toner in. Blonde hair 101)The entire visit took over five hours, and left me crying in my car as soon as I left. She still charged me $265 and offered a complimentary toner. Although, I'm not sure what a toner will do since she completely bleached my hair incorrectly. I took a chance on yelp to find a good stylist only to be completely burned by the entire thing. I posted this review many months ago however decided to delete it because I didn't want to ruin someone's career in hair. Maybe she was having a bad hair styling day? I received a call the next day from the owner to have the situation made right and was given a different stylist (he no longer works there, Eddy. He's fantastic btw) Recently, I went to schedule a new appointment and was told this news. No big deal. I decided to schedule with the owner Amy because she has been doing hair a long time and figured she knew how to do it well. I would like to point out the fact that I have had my roots bleached in one process and it turned out beautifully. Amy quoted me the normal price ($70) and went to work. My hair in the end looked like a total mess and she said it was due to a toner in my hair and it would even out. I have attached a picture because that's all that needs to be said. I went to a new stylist not telling her anything about this situation, only asking her to fix it and she was shocked. She said my hair was "hacked" with a "giant hole" in the side from whoever cut my hair. SHE THOUGHT I DID IT MYSELF! She even said that the fact that someone would let me leave in the state that My hair was in, was cruel. Please heed my warning and do not go to obsessed salon. I have tried many times only to be epically disappointed over and over again. read more

But now I'm starting to think it might be worth the short flight from Phoenix just to keep Kayla as my stylist! She is fantastic at 'hair design' and I've always left the salon thrilled with the results. Not only is Kayla very good at what she does, she's got a nice personality to boot. I went to Obsessed for the first time today and was so pleased! I was immediately offered something to drink and was taken back for my appointment within a minute or two. They offer a complementary service every time you come. You can choose from a scalp/neck massage, a hand massage, or a mini facial. I chose a hand massage which was given to me as my conditioner was setting. Kelsey did a great job on my haircut. She took her time and fixed problems made by my previous hair dresser. Found this salon by accident while visit a Golf shop next door. I usually go to chain barber shops and have not been happy with haircuts I've been getting.
