My daughter has been coming here for a while. I want to say like two years. She's been taking tumbling classes and now she started on a half year team and she loves it. I used to take her to OC All-Stars when she was little she was just doing gymnastics back then. This was years ago and she stopped going and I regret ever letting her stop because now as a teenager, she had to start all over. She loves coming here, and I really feel like it has taken her out of her shell and helping her with her self-esteem. She really likes Emily and Skylie they both worked with her tumbling. I'm sorry but said "coach" who was supposed to help spot at an open gym (9.19 6-8 pm) was insanely rude and unprofessional. the whole point of the open gym is that a coach should help athletes feel safe and secure, instead of deciding who is "worthy" of assistance. I asked him to spot me and he outright refused, saying I 'could already do it,' even though I wanted a safe spot to practice. yes I know I can do it there is nothing wrong w asking for extra help. would stay away from that guy unless you want to be ignored, disrespected, and treated like your safety means nothing~ read more

This Yelp review is a bit overdue. Also, if you are the owner reading this, I would pause your reply back to defend your employees. Go and observe what is going on because everyone can see. First, OC All-Stars is located where homeless druggies hand out, not ideal for a gym full of children. So, I was the transportation for my granddaughter to attend tumbling class. I sat many times watching the coaches and the gym environment at various gyms and let me share that this is the most chaotic place ever! Let me start with my granddaughter's ex-coach, Kayla. She was very discouraging to the athletes; well, she did have 1 or 2 that were her favorites but the rest of the class she demoralized. My granddaughter never got a "good job" or any type of positive praise. Everything that came out of her mouth was discouraging, and negative and lowered the girl's spirits. I heard her comments and wondered why in the world she is working with children. Her scowling face matches her unhappy personality. Next, let me share that we tried the drop-in summer camp classes and there was never a coach that showed up to teach this class (this happened three times). What a waste of our time! OC All-Stars has an issue with being accountable. If you own a gym, make sure you have quality employees who will show up for work and make sure your employees conduct themselves in a professional manner. Lastly, many times I observed a male coach (did not get his name) but on the days I would sit and watch- this coach, he would be yelling at his co-workers across the gym and had a bad attitude. Both parents and athletes heard this go on during practice. This coach is so unprofessional on all levels. What a horrible example to children/ young adults. This is not just my experience but also the parents I have spoken to at the gym. I am a retired educator with 40-plus years of experience, and I know that encouragement and being a good role model are critical for the positive growth of children/young adults. My daughter attends tumbling classes here and has participated in at least 3 different classes. In all classes, I've noticed a recurring issue: the coaches are frequently distracted--either by other coaches, by their favorite students, or by managing the class in a way that allows them to focus on individuals trying to grab their attention. This often results in uneven attention and inconsistent instruction for the rest of the students. I have tried to be patient and even switched her classes but have noticed it too often to know it is simply a trend. I haven't decided if we just switch to privates but I feel that is hard to do just because their tumbling classes are ineffective. read more

My daughter went here for summer drop-in camp and did a few private tumbling lessons. She did private lessons with Coach Rachael, she is amazing and caring to everyone! She started learning back handsprings and within two lessons, she could do perfect handsprings - 7 in a row.! The only downside I would say is that I have to agree with some of the reviews about the staff acting less than professional at times. All in all, I would say that this is a good gym to learn tumbling. read more

OC All Stars is such an amazing gym! I have been coming here for about 10 years and the experience I get is just so wholesome and kind! The coaches are super sweet and talented and they are always attentive and knowledgeable! I love that there are two gyms very close to one another with all the latest equipment and with a parent viewing area! I signed up my oldest daughter for the Lite Team. We signed up last minute but the director was quick with his responses. I was able to sign up my daughter. We have been coming here for a few weeks now. She has enjoyed coming here so far. I agree with the seating though, if you come late, you are either sitting on the floor or standing by the wall. read more

I signed up my daughter for a tumbling class and we were both excited being that this gym is near my house. The experience was horrible. My daughter did some cartwheels incorrectly for about 15 minutes. Then sat around for a bit. Not one coach came to assist her or correct her. They focused on kids they already know. Waste of time and money. We will not be returning. They obviously don't care about your child's learning experience of wanting to learn tumbling. Not sure what happened here but the lady working the front desk was extremely rude and not welcoming to our cheer squad. I think her name is Lauren..?? We have used this place before for tumbling as well as team gym rentals We definitely won't be returning for any classes or gym rentals. What bothered me the most was being denied use of the restroom It's a simple curtesy that a paying customer would be able to use the restroom but not here. I used to take my daughter to the Anaheim Hills location which was fine my daughter liked her instructor Roberto and had no complaints . Now they moved to Anaheim and place is a lot smaller and my daughter said that her new teacher was mostly on her phone and they didn't have any equipment for the tumbling classes they mostly focus on their cheer classes which explains why their tumbling classes mostly have only 2 or 3 kids they don't care about their classes . I find it sad that my kid was the one that didn't want to go back and said "I don't feel like I'm in a tumble class " her words . My oldest daughter used to be with OC all stars at the lake forest location and it was so much better than this location!! Worst experience ever for my youngest daughters first time. We tried enrolling our 2 year old for the tumbling basics class and it was so unorganized that we have to cancel her class. My poor husband has been struggling with the staff here, being told he can't let his daughter run around the gym for safety reasons, which I get but, isn't that what I'm paying you guys for? To engage with my child and bring her into this sport so she can have an hour of fun a week. The other location had a specific room dedicated to the littles and it made the tumbling classes so much easier. I just feel like they shouldn't be offering classes to kids so young if they don't have any plans to keep them involved. It was like she was always just left out. I will say that Emalee was very sweet and would try every week to involve her, but with no dedicated space it really was just a huge waste of time and money. My daughter LOVES the dance classes at OC! I never write yelp reviews but had to give credit to the amazing staff at OC. The dance studios are super nice and are very clean and the instructors really care about the kids. I highly recommend taking classes here. My daughter was a little nervous for her first class but the teachers made her feel welcome and very comfortable. She has also been taking tumbling classes that she loves as well. A main reason we choose OC after trying other studios was because they have great options for all ages. I don't have to go to a bunch of different places for different classes. We haven't tried cheer yet but I've heard their cheer program is amazing as well. We're going to have our daughter try cheer soon. Try them out, I guarantee you won't be disappointed. read more
