We were actually just visiting for a few days in Huntington Beach and my son desperately needed to get a haircut. Tried them out and was not disappointed. I was in search of a new barber and this place not only had great reviews, they also had an easy to use website to make an appointment. With the COVID restrictions being eased, I wanted to grab one of the first available time slots and, since I have never met any of the barbers, I was able to get a Saturday morning slot with Luis, the owner. The huge attached parking lot Only charge a buck for the hour, so that eased the process quite a bit. Tons of folks finally eating out near the pier. These guys are at 2nd and Main but parking was easy and cheap. Come for the haircut, stick around for the protests, riots and National Guard. Sorry.... I digressed. The shop has been here since February but Luis had an old shop just up Main St. for five years. This bigger shop houses about 7 chairs, all properly distanced from each other or walled off with plastic curtains. The barbers all wore masks, the lobby was properly spaced and there was an abundance of hand sanitizer. The place has consigned art on the walls and loud cool music. I think they offered beer in the past but I saw no drinking on the morning I was there. Luis was very nice to speak with and shared his excitement about being allowed to reopen. I was not asked to wear a mask during the cut which made things a lot easier. Only $30 for a nice new cut and I felt a bit more human again after going over three months. I do wish they would accept credit cards but still a five star experience. read more
