I also got multiple estimates and inspections - they were all higher (one was 3x) than Jason's estimate, plus his inspection was more thorough. None of them noticed anything wrong in the attic, but Jason did. Even with doing more work than the other companies, his price was the best. All calls, emails, and texts were extremely prompt. I also found out a different company was going to do the work when my gas company SoCal Gas called me, asked about what company I hired, and then told me a different company called them to turn off my gas. I'm writing this review, a month after termite treatment. On March 21st, 2024, I reached out to a few termite/pest control companies via Yelp to request termite treatment. Jason responded to my request immediately and asked that I send him my contact information so he could set up an appointment for a no charge fumigation estimate. I responded with my information and Jason was able to come out the same day. He took a look under our home and saw where the termites had tunneled up. He verified that it was the same location that the swarm was exiting out of (behind our fridge). Jason took the time to explain how the treatment works; the termites carry it into their home/tunnels under the soil and spread it to the colony. He said it could take two weeks for them to be completely killed and that if for any reason I saw them again after two weeks, to give him a call. He was very patient, informative, kind, and knowledgeable. He gave me an estimate and said he would send the estimate in writing the next morning. The next morning, I did receive an estimate and it was what he quoted me the day before. The estimate was very reasonable, but my dad said to always get 2-3 estimates before making a decision. So I waited for a second company to come out. The other company said the next day they had available was a week later. Oof! Not what you want to hear when dealing with termite swarms in your kitchen. The other company came out and quoted over 3x as much as what Jason quoted me. The other company was talking about drilling every 12" into the concrete around the perimeter of the house and drilling every foot under the house. Needless to say, I was shocked. It was Saturday the 30th when I immediately called back Jason. Once again, he came out promptly and did what he said he would. After he treated the area, he reminded me that it could take two weeks for the colony to stop showing up, so not to worry if I saw a few stragglers in my kitchen. I waited a month to write this review because I know a lot of reviews are right after treatment. This isn't much time to see if treatments are effective, and unless the reviewer comes back on yelp to make an update, we never know if the person had issues. It's safe to say that Jason did a great job! I never saw a single termite after he treated under my house. He was very kind, never pushy, reasonably priced, and timely! It's so stressful having a kitchen swarmed with termites so having someone who can come quickly and treat just as fast is amazing. He did educate me on the pros and cons of my options which I appreciated. Fast forward to July 2020 and we found droppings again in the same room but the next stud over. Extremely courteous and professional. Took a lot of time to explain how to prevent and treat termites. We had a termite nest at our front door and got him to also check our attic. Turns out that termites were starting to infest the attic as well. So got him to locally treat our front door and spray the entire attic. Drilled some little holes by the door frame to spray the foam into the frame and sealed them afterwards without any trace of holes. He took great care in making sure he to pick up after himself. I happened to be home once when they stopped by and was so disappointed to see that all he did was shake something on the ground around my home; mainly on the grass. OC Bug did the inspection and found termites, requiring fascia board replacement and tenting. Everything went fine until the tent was installed and removed. Very careless crew and sloppy effort. The Directv dish was bent so badly it had to be replaced; The roof heater vent cap was found in the back yard; Roof tiles cracked; empty water bottles left in bathroom; hose left laying out in front yard. If you use them, I recommend that you observe the installation and removal of the tent. read more

I finally found a Termite specialist that I trust. Really enjoyed working with Jason and will recommend him to my friends/family. He gave me plenty of warning that some plants will die during tenting and some roof tiles may get broken when workers walk on the roof. So I need to account for additional costs. The tenting went smoothly and yes some plants died and tiles were broken. That will happen with any company. Very disappointed! During my fumigation, the workers broke my TV in my bedroom and lied to the owner and stated they knew nothing about the incident. Before I left my home, for the three days, all my items were perfectly fine; nothing was broke, until the OC crew came and damaged my property. The owner basically believed his workers and only compensated me $200 for my TV and told me to purchase a Vizio at Walmart, however, my broken TV costed over $300 dollars. Horrible service. In addition, the workers went into my drawers to look for my spare key and threw all my papers on the floor, so when I came home, I had all kinds of stuff to pick up off the floor due the carelessness of the workers.
