The owner has always been kind and easy to work with, and every technician we've had has been respectful and professional. One thing that really stood out to me recently was when we got a new puppy. A technician accidentally left our gate open, but instead of ignoring it, he personally texted me to apologize and took full responsibility. That kind of accountability says a lot about the people they hire and the culture they've built. As for the actual pest control--they do a great job. We rarely see spiders or bugs throughout the year. When summer rolls around and the ants start showing up, they come out and handle it quickly. If the ants get especially bad, they'll even come back for an extra service. Honestly, our biggest ant problem comes from neighboring properties, so that's not something any company can completely control, but they do everything they can to keep it under control. For about three years we were experiencing roof rats boring holes into our roof under our ceramic tiles, even after having the roof replaced. We went through four companies who did inspections and applied "closure" fixes at points of access, none of which solved the problem. The critters would just work through again and again. The big names we tried simply wanted to provide routine maintenance on monthly or annual contracts: nothing you can do, they'd say. Rodents are persistent and smart, but we can set traps and check them for you if you pay us continually. Wipe Out was different. They were prompt, professional, and totally reasonable. What's more, THEY SOLVED THE ISSUE. I've waited 8-9 months since they performed their inspection and sealed up our roof. So used to disappointment, I didn't want to write up a review right away. Caleb with Wipe out pest control did a fantastic job to resolve my rodent problem. I've been hearing scratches behind walls for almost 2 months and tried to catch it with no success. I had received free estimates and inspections from several pest control companies, but Caleb, unlike others, asked if he could take a look inside my house even if I mentioned it had been only behind walls, unable to get inside yet. But it had turned out he was right as he had found activities around my fish tank, and the small gap between a gas pipe and the wall, the secret opening. Which may seem like it should be expected, but after my experience with other pest control companies who either don't pick up the phone or do not return phone calls/messages this was a great start with Wipe Out. Caleb who handled my job, came out to my home during the time frame/window they provided me which was greatly appreciated. Again, this might seem like it's expected but again based on my past experience with other pest control companies who don't show up on time or cancel last minute or just plain don't show up, Caleb's punctuality was greatly appreciated! He even put our dog in the garage when he had to spray the yard for mosquitos and we weren't home, which definitely is not a part of his job responsibilities, but he went above and beyond! I truly appreciate good customer service and the honest attempt at coming to a resolution. Even though they're family, I appreciate it's still run like a business (one that I'm still happy to support). **ORIGINAL: I have nothing but issues when Clayton shows up to my house. He half asses his jobs in comparison to the other technicians. I asked him to further deweb and spray some areas he missed and he copped an attitude saying he already did. After arguing back and forth about it (I've never had to sit and argue with someone IN MY OWN HOME over a service I'm PAYING them to do), he went outside and half assed a few more spritz. I showed him the areas I was talking about that he STILL missed in his half assed attempt, then he finally does the job right. Then, as always, he leaves without notice (in this case, probably for the better). The text message alerts also need improvement. It's often a same day text saying someone will be there in a few hours. I've asked to be informed ahead of time so I can plan (as I have pets and a job) and it still doesn't happen. The only reason this place gets more than 1 star is because of River and Caleb. read more

There was a bee hive setting up shop in our roof, so after waiting a month and a half for the bees to possibly leave, we called around and luckily came across Wipeout pest control. We called last week to set up an appointment with Caleb from Wipeout. Caleb and his brother came today and did an extremely thorough job of making sure that there was no entrance for the bees to get back. After neutralizing the hive, they sealed it shut with spray foam, wire netting, and caulking. They even aligned my roof tiles better than they were before. Now we can go outside without running to get our mail. If you want somebody professional with a quick response time and no bs, give these guys a call. They are a family run business and have the best interests of their clients as their priority. Price is also the best I found. I watched the whole process while Caleb and his brother did their thing. There must have been hundreds of bees coming out of there. I only saw maybe at most 20 flying around before.
