JBC did termite spot treatments throughout our home in Oct 2024. In July 2026, we noticed winged termites appearing in our master bath and suspected they were coming down from the attic above via the bathroom ceiling lights. Simon of JBC was able to pinpoint the corner of the attic above the bathroom where he saw droppings and wood tunneling. He treated the area and solved the problem. I bought a house 2 years ago and during escrow, the house got tented. I thought everything was fine but I was really glad that Fred provided me education and told me that they could do a free inspection. Randomly found bugs on my staircase area and was frantically searching for a company that could come ASAP to inspect what kind of bug I have. Fred sprayed the interior periphery of our kitchen, nearby bath, and outdoor perimeter of our home a couple months ago to combat an ant problem that was simply out of control. Fred and team goes above and beyond. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. His work also comes with 2yr standard warranty, which is something I haven't heard of from other contractors. I've specifically chose him because I wanted to avoid a whole-house tented fumigation and he didn't disappoint. I also had him inspect and treat my mother's house to treat current and future problems. Fred and team are also very good wood workers and are available to repair your damaged house if you so choose. I had them replace fascias around my house and also repair my mother's patio. I had them come out twice post treatment and they were very prompt to address your concerns. Fred has come out to our place a few times, and has been helpful and more than fair each time. 1) A few years ago, we had done some construction and when the walls got closed up, we heard critters in the attic/walls. Fred came out and made sure our spaces were all properly sealed up and caught all the rats. They did the work was a fair price, and we've not had another rat in our house/garage/attic (except for see number 2, which was our own fault). 2) Maybe 6 months ago, we found evidence of a rat in our garage, and Fred came out and looked around. He thought it was just one rat, and that it probably got in while the door was left open past dusk (which had happened a couple of times). He said he could set some traps and come back out, but would have to charge us for that. He told us what traps to buy and what bait to use. The rat was trapped within the week, and we never saw evidence of another one. He could've charged us hundreds of dollars, but instead just gave us advice to solve our problem. 3) We've been having ants pop up all over our house - kitchen, bathrooms, etc. We called Fred to see if he could help. He sent someone out within a couple days (thanks Zeke!) to spray inside and the exterior perimeter of the house. He wanted to start with that, because the treating the subterranean costs more, but said if it didn't do the trick, we could apply what we'd already paid to the total cost. The following Thursday, we had two big trails of ants again, confirming they were under the house. He was back out on Friday to treat under the house, and was true to his word. We have had nothing but great interactions with Fred and his team, and highly recommend them! read more

Had hired their services early May of this year... and would strongly recommend anyone with rodent issues with JBC. I spoke with Fred initially but the whole team (can't remember their names) was very helpful and transparent. We had 1 rat show up in our home in April in which freaked me out but I was able to catch it with a trap. One month later, we saw another rat and knew there was an issue. Called many different nearby companies but JBC was awesome from the very initial call. First of all when you call them, the person picking up is actually Fred, the owner of the company. When I called other companies it was someone in front of a computer that is probably outsourced and not local to the area. Fred from the get go was personable and understanding of my worries. Called him on a Saturday morning to schedule to come out the very next day. They helped set up traps throughout the home and also in the attic. Within a week or two, the rats were caught in the traps set up by them! Also after that we have not had any rodent activity. This is because they did a great job blocking out any potential openings they can use to be coming in our home. Review is a bit late, but actually think it's nice because I can report that even after 3 months, (knock on wood) we haven't had any rodent activity since. I was so impressed with their professionalism, integrity, expertise, friendliness and quality of workmanship. Fred pays strict attention to every detail, and goes above and beyond what is expected. Not only did these guys use the best and safest insecticides to 'terminate our termites', but they also promptly followed up by expertly repairing the wood damage that was done my these nasty creatures. And, my wife and I did not have to go through the inconvenience of moving out while our house was tented. We recently found a rat in our condo - and that's where my nightmare began. We placed traps out and caught it, but then I found residual droppings and noise in our vents. I immediately went on Yelp and read through so many businesses and reviews. JBC instantly stood out! From the moment I called to schedule an appointment to the minute that Fred left my house...he was a Godsend! He answered all my preliminary questions on the phone, was able to fit me in last minute, and arrived to the appointment on time and with a smile! Long story short, it wasn't a rat infestation as I had thought but a rogue rat that got into the house someway...somehow... Fred spent time looking inside and outside the premises, up in the attic, and gave me his professional assessment. He was personable, professional, and had such a great and honest vibe. If I could, I would give Fred at JBC 10 stars. His service is fantastic! I saw a rat in the house Thursday night so tried to get someone to come out Saturday since I wasn't going to be home Friday. I couldn't get anyone to come to our house until next week, except JBC. I told him I wouldn't be home until about 5:00pm but he was still willing to come check out the problem. On a Saturday! I called as I was on my way home and he was here waiting for me. He checked the attic and said there wasn't a sign of infestation. He thought it was a rogue rat that got in the house. It had tried to chew through the door frame to get out. I had bought some sticky traps and put some chunks of peach on them. Fred said I needed a different kind of bait, so he changed it for me. He said let's see if this takes care of the problem and if it didn't he could come back and set traps inside and outside. And he quoted a price for that service.
