I also very much enjoyed the overall vibe of the office and the new equipment that makes cleanings, X-Rays and other procedures so much easier to deal with. There are not enough positive things to say about OC dental studio. I am an extremely nervous patient after a terrible tooth pull I endured as a kid. The time came for me to find a permanent dental home in Orange County as I was in need of not one, but TWO crowns. On a strong recommendation, I chose Dr. Comfort and her practice. From the moment I set foot in the door, I was put at ease by the entire staff. They were incredibly kind, the space was cozy and extremely clean. My evaluation was smooth and Dr. Comfort explained everything thoroughly as far as a treatment plan, taking care of all of my questions. When the procedures themselves came about, they took extra time to check in on me repeatedly due to my anxiety (shout out to Karen!) and followed up with phone calls after each treatment. I first went to OC Dental one year ago with a toothache. I was referred & got a root canal. Well last weekend the tooth broke. They made me an appt in a timely manner. The tooth needed to be extracted. Dr. Comfort did a great job, the tooth broke & she had to remove all 3 roots separatel. She was gentLe and explained everything as she went. She called me the next 2 days to see how I was doing. This week it was still painful, they got me right in, she put some stuff where the tooth used to be. Today it's so much better. So far, so great! This was my first time at the dental studio. I was a transfer patient after my dentist retired. It was very refreshing as the office and the experience was more updated and very modern. I was impressed with the more thorough X-rays that were done and their ability to show me detailed photos of my teeth on the large TV screen in front of me. And with the help of the photos, she was able to show me a couple of problem areas that I was never aware of. They had a great playlist of current music that made it easy for me to relax and disassociate during my cleaning. The only bummer was that during the cleaning, I'd prefer a bit more attention to the use of the water suction tool as as there were a couple of times that the saliva was pooling up and then dripping down my neck. Can book dental appointments online. Professional friendly staff. Small waiting room, but the office spaces out the appointments so there was only one person in the waiting room. When you walk past the front desk, the office us much bigger. Dr. Comfort, that's actually her real name, has great bedside manners, very friendly, cares for her patients, very careful at examining my teeth and broken filling but she didn't probe and prod unnecessarily, chats a lot and tells you what she's doing (which I prefer over silence), reasonably priced (she's out of my insurance network) - doesn't add on extra services that my former dentist hadn't recommended AND explained to me about my coverage, and seems to truly enjoy being a dentist. read more

But I've been seeing Dr. Comfort for the past few years and she has always been honest with me and always documenting and showing me photos as proof of what she is seeing in my teeth.
