Aryeh verified that things looked good and asked me to try the opener. The door opened. I felt a bit dumb. He reassured me that things like this can happen. When we contacted this company the person that answered the phone indicated they would come out and…read moreprovide a "free estimate" for any repair that would be needed. I already knew the safety sensors were not working but wasn't sure what the issue might be. The technician arrived and I explained what I had already done to troubleshoot the issue, including installing new sensors. He indicated it was likely the wires or the circuit board inside the opener itself. I asked if he could simply test to see if power was getting to the sensors before running new wires. He connected a new wire to one of the sensors he removed from its bracket and said, yes that's the problem, you need new wires ran from the opener to the sensors. So I asked "what would that charge be?". He indicated he would charge $50 + $175 =$225.00. I opted not to have him run the wires. He then said the charge would then just be $175. He said it was for his "experience and for his time to come to our house". I asked so what was the "free estimate?" By his definition, the "Free Estimate" was simply him showing up, but I needed to pay for his expertise. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT TO GET A FREE ESTIMATE OF THE WORK NECESSARY TO RESOLVE YOUR GARAGE DOOR ISSUE.

They provide honest and exceptional service at a reasonable price. About eight months ago I had issues with my garage door just conking out. I called R&S and Elian came out the same day to assess my garage door situation. Apparently the link had just broken and needed to be replaced. However, our great technician Elian let us know that the garage door is towards the end of its life and probably within the next year or so, will need to be replaced. Well today was the day we got the garage door replaced with a new LiftMaster garage door opener. Elian returned with a great attitude and enthusiasm about helping us set up our new high-end LiftMaster garage door opener for the new year. Elian let us know it would take about two hours to install. He finished in a lil over an hour. After the garage door was installed Elian let me know how to work it and step-by-step instructions on all its features. He also installed a keypad to open up your garage door from the outside not using a remote.
