This location used to be my favorite. With being a "boutique" I could count on this location to have amazing finds. Unfortunately the last 2 months it's rapidly declining. Not only did they raise their prices to OUTRAGEOUS prices ($17.99 for All jeans) but they are trying to sell items that you can get at TJ maxx, Amazon, Wallmart or Target clearence for cheaper. In September you could barley move the clothes on the racks (assuming Due to price shock they couldn't move inventory fast enough) but now the Racks are extremely bare and looks like a normal location That is desperate for inventory. Extremely outdated items, torn, stained, or straight from wallmart, Target, shein, or Amazon. This location no longer looks like a "boutique" Goodwill. read more

The employees as soon as doors open take shopping carts and go down the aisle and take all the clearance tags off the rack. On the day I went the deal was the color green, and at least three on shift employees were doing it with their lanyards badges on. When I asked why they were taking the discount items, they said they were making space for new items, but then I overheard one say " omg, look at what scored" From what I gathered they collect high values clothing items and resell on apps or sell to consignment store. read more

This place feels like the Nordstrom Rack of Goodwill. Right when you walk in you can tell Goodwill has elevated the ambiance with trendy decor, name brands and well organized racks. I have to say though as an experienced thrifted some of the fun of Goodwill is the thrill of the hunt and the quirky gems you'll find. So if you're looking for that you might want to go to a regular Goodwill. Brands I found here included Adidas, Bonobos, Underarmor (a lot of this) within the the mens section. Additionally there's a shoe and home furniture section as well. The find of the day for me was $7 Sperry's. Happy hunting! read more

This is one of my favorite places to go thrifting. Solid home selection and clothes selection. They also get great picture frames. This place is generally clean and well organized. The fitting rooms usually have a long line which is pretty typical at thrift stores. Pricing is fair and they have color day deals that make it worth it. read more

It use to be a good store a few years ago now they don't even have access to their restroom for the customers. But all the employees use it when they have their own designated restroom... that sucks I've seen elderly people need to use it and they said "NO" when they are paying regular customers what a shame. Also I've seen a lot of items like dresses at $14.99 with original tags from Ross or other stores at $7 even items at $4 and they overcharge the items when they have original tags with clearance tags lower then their price. I hardly buy from them anymore. Their management is very off too. Not my so favorite store anymore. read more

I guess "Fashion Nova" and "Nasty Gal" are considered boutique now. So, avoid this place at all costs, this store is a joke. My poor mom decided to buy something and forgot a coupon and the staff couldn't even offer her a 5% off discount or anything off a $60 purchase. My friend always raves about finding amazing items here but honestly as a long time thrifter this place was nothing special. Looks just like an actual goodwill from the selection nothing boutique about it in my opinion. They had lots of target, shein, and forever 21 and other off name stuff for crazy prices. Any other boutique goodwills i've been too have some luxury pieces for the same price and just overall better selections. I didn't find one thing worth bringing home especially for the prices. I won't be back as it's also overcrowded and the aisles are narrow. On top of that this store has the worst organization. I'll continue to give my business to my local salvation army family store scoring nicer pieces there for about 20 percent of the price. I have no issues paying more for top dollar items but I didn't see any here. If you're a thrifter looking for some quality pieces look elsewhere. I also got terrible allergies in this store and was sneezing like crazy.. once I left I was totally fine. Not worth the drive at all. read more

As far as this being a great place to shop and pick up bargains, I'll give the Boutique a 4. HOWEVER, the folks who are working in the back of the store, taking in the donations, they get a 2. We had 3 boxes, clearly marked "Fragile" and "Christmas Ornaments", that were THROWN into a bin. I suspect the glass and crystal vases may not have survived, even though they were packed with padding. Also, we donated a large folding table, in very good condition - not so much now that it's been dragged along the concrete floor, certainly damaging the edge of the table. The disrespect shown to those of us who are trying to help make a difference by donating useful items is disappointing. I would appreciate a reply from management. read more

My first time coming to this location to drop off donation items. The upside is that you can drive up in the back to unload donation items. The downside is that the woman who took my donations was very rude and didn't even talk to me or say thank you. I wasn't offered a receipt, either. I said thank you when she handed my empty box back to me and she still didn't say anything. Shocked and disappointed. Not impressed. Literally everything was $9.99. A pair of pajama pants - $9.99. This "goodwill boutique" needs a re-evaluation of what should and shouldn't be priced at $10. Especially considering that it's a thrift. The kids that work there are friendly. But, I didn't see too many deals at all. I was just here with my boyfriend, nice store clean fun all that. The 50% off color was green and we did not see ONE green tag which we thought was weird but whatever. THEN we leave and my boyfriend sees one young lady that was working, waiting outside and says that while I was trying on a dress he overheard her asking her supervisor if she could leave at 5:28 to catch the last bus and her supervisor told her no. She left around 5:45, he said then we still saw her waiting out front around 6. Probably trying to find a way home. So not cool, I take the bus and my employer has let me leave to catch the bus when I need. It's dark and cold outside and 20 mins would not have been the end of the world. read more

I've been thrifting since I was a kid with my mom and goodwills have always been a great place to find treasures. I've been to this location a few times and have enjoyed finding great brands regarding clothing for a good price. However in recent times many customers who come here are a bit aggressive in the isles. I've had several people actually hit me with there carts as I'm looking on the lower level shelf's. I have mentioned this to employees here as I feel someone will be injured on day with these aggressive customers. I also am disappointed and dissatisfied with the color tag sales they have. Recently tried to buy purple tag items that were supposed to be 50% off and yet when I was being rung up more than half my items "didn't qualify" even though they announced the tag sale on the intercom and had signs just saying 50% off purple tag. I ended up leaving some items behind because of this. Truth be told you must honor your sale tag promotions. Also you should be more detailed in your descriptions of what is on sale and what is not. A broad description isn't enough. Please Tustin boutique get it together when it comes to your sales and also don't pull color tag items off the shelf when they are on sale. I like thrifting and this by far one of the better locations I've been to. The store has a nice visual floor plan when I walk in & I can tell they have a lot of things. My friend wanted to check this place out since it was a "Goodwill". It is in the plaza in Tustin that has no public restrooms with the Daiso in it. The prices were high compared to the Goodwills my friend has been to, at about double the price for most items, so she didn't want to buy anything. There were some empty DVD cases on the shelf. I'm not paying for an empty DVD case. We bought nothing due to these issues. read more

Much to my surprise, I walked in not knowing that it was a goodwill ‍ it doesn't look like one. Their prices are astronomically high. It's so disheartening to see prices like this at a thrift store where people donate their clothes and expect to get good deals. Like there are people that specifically to to Goodwills/ thrift stores beacuse they can't spend retail prices, however, it dosent seem thats who their trying to target towards to anymore and sometimes over price than what it would be brand new. Costco, Ross, Old Navy, etc. have better prices. Their prices use to be reasonable and only priced up certain brands but they've raised the prices for all their items. I shop here for little knick knacks, and every once and awhile I'll leave with some interesting finds. Every now and then you can find some really neat vintage items, such as Disney collectibles, Halloween decor, or random household decor. They also sell clothes, shoes, kitchen items, records, comics, dvds and cds, and toys as well. Lots of things to check out, and some pretty good deals too. read more

Amazing new concept for Goodwill - it's the best that they have to offer from all over OC and the proceeds go towards helping out those in need in the OC area. They had their grand opening this morning and gave a bunch of gift cards out in line. They said they'll be doing the same on Saturday and are having drawings for ipads, etc. Took a ton of pics so you guys can see how different this store is from all the other Goodwills. Just left this place due to the fact that I was hit with a rolling rack by an employee with blonde hair in a pony tail and is heavy set woman. I was looking at items on shelf as I saw her coming so I squeezed myself up against the shelf in front of me even though she had well enough space to pass she still came closer to me as she passed intentionally hitting me with the rack and I didn't know it then but my bf told me she laughed after that. I am visiting from out of town and had high hopes for this Goodwill. The look of the shop, and quality of merchandise, is great. Unfortunately because they don't organize the clothing by size you have to look through every single item in their large inventory hunting for both something you like and in your size. I am a regular Goodwill thrift shopper and can usually find several things I love in less than an hour when the inventory is organized. The layout was so irritating that I couldn't find a single thing to purchase and left empty handed after over an hour of hunting. I won't be back, despite what I suspect are great deals to be had...if you can find them. read more

In terms of donating clothes, I thought I could drop off donations directly inside the store but I had to drive around the plaza to the back of the store. I came here when it first opened. The selection was a lot better in the beginning, especially for men's clothing. The store was well organized but definitely isn't as much anymore. The labels are also not as good as they used to be. The Boutique was about curating higher end brands and labels and there are some cheaper brands that have crept into the inventory. It's not all bad though. I scored a lightly used Façonnable button up dress shirt that fit me quite nicely and a brand new polo shirt. read more

This store is the absolute worst Goodwill I've ever shopped at. They price their items ridiculously high. I found a pair of shoes today with no price. I asked the manager what the price was and she just randomly named a price. I bought the same style of shoe at a different Goodwill two weeks ago for half of what she told me at this one. I found a pair of Target boots that I purchased on clearance at Target for $5.98. They were priced for $19.99 at this Goodwill. Complete rip off! Shop the clearance racks at Target for a good deal because you won't find that here. Please do not donate your goods or support this store. There are other thrift stores in the area with much better prices and a better selection items. read more

The store is well organized with neat layout and displaying of all the items. Okay pricing and good selection of clothing, glassware, and toys. Little on the furniture section. I found lots of cute skirts and shorts with the price tags ranging from $3.99- $9.99. It does seem like going to a boutique! First goodwill with a public restroom I have ever seen! What really got me amped up about this place was the employees. Everyone was so polite and helpful. I was greeted with a guy on the floor and he didn't fail to tell me what the "color of the day" was. As I browsed through the store, he continued to work on the go-backs and make noticed of every single customers. The cashier apologized for my wait in line, happily rang me up, and even complimented on my nails. Good job OC Goodwill Boutique! read more

Went tonight at 7:50 the sign on the door says 9pm at 8 the manager was on the intercom saying they were closed. Ok I take my purchases to the front and ask if they allow exchanges and the male says no exchanges. The Manager over speaks and says all sales final. I answered yes I understood. However if you cant try something on because of covid you should adjust your exchange policy and be a little nicer to the customer. At the same time I was in line to pay the helper was going around yelling at my husband we are closed he said I'm waiting for my wife do I have to go outside? Never had such rude service like today. Probably wouldn't go back. Customer service at the end of the night should suffer and the hand of disgruntled employees. Also if you close at 8pm you should change the hours on the door to reflect that. read more
