Called today to ask about bringing in my Marshall 9200 power amp for service. I am a past customer and had great service last time around a few years ago. Anyway I looked them up again as a repeat customer and gave them a ring. The fellow who answered the phone acted as if I was bothering him calling and was condescending, told me I could not drop my amp off to him without an appointment and that would be no sooner than tuesday at 12:30pm. I tried to explain I will be out of town for the next few weeks and as he was there could I just stop by and drop it off he was basically like, no you can't, too bad and btw it would be 2 weeks to get to it which he seemed to take great pleasure in telling me. (I was actually going out of town and that would of been fine with me). Anyway very dismissive and arrogant on the phone. Surprised as last time I had these guys work on one of my amps it was fine and they do seem to have good reviews, maybe I caught him on a bad day? Brad read more

Update! Took my super strat here to have a pickup installed and set up. The guitar came back perfect, the action was better than ever and the intonation is perfect! This place does great work! Took my Friedman small box here for a tube change and bias. Talked with Ryan who understood the exact tone I was looking. I had the good luck of running across Raul's amp repair service when my hand-wired Fender Champ was acting up. It was hissing and occasionally sound levels would drop off dramatically. I was this close to selling and replacing. Within minutes of arriving, Raul took off the back cover and knocked a plastic pen around in there and immediately identified the source of the problem as the crappy soldering job done at the factory. He showed me there were actually a couple of points with literally no solder holding the wires down. He chuckled and told me it looked like this one had been made on a Friday when they couldn't wait to leave the workshop for the weekend. Raul whipped out some solder and had me on my way within 20 minutes with an amp as good as new. Now.... I get that this was unusually good fortune to find him with the time to do that on the spot so while it's not something I would expect every time, it truly is a pleasure to deal directly with someone who knows their craft like the back of their hand.
