My husband and I booked an hour couples massage for Valentine's day weekend here and it was fantastic. Sharon and Karen were great! We originally tried to book for Saturday but they were booked so we booked for Sunday afternoon. They knew we were only in town for the weekend and we were leaving Sunday afternoon. When they got a cancellation for early Sunday they let us know and asked if we wanted to come earlier. This was really helpful! The place was very clean and welcoming. I have had Sharon twice as my massage therapist and I can tell you hands down, if you are thinking about going somewhere else in OC, settle you worries and just come here. I dated a massage therapist for 5 years and was massaged, spoiled and educated. Sharon has a vast knowledge of techniques and has her own style. She is the only massage therapist you will find using hot bamboo; which goes deeper than stones. Her touch is sincere and she makes sure the pressure is right, while being gentle and caring. She utilized some aromas and compresses that were very engaging and relaxing and refreshing. Then at the end I was awakened with a cooling smell that was amazing. The room is outfitted with nice beach decor with a soft candle light appeal. The room has a nice surround sound set up and the audio played is a mix of jungle bird and rain sounds, ocean waves, an Indian pan flute and at times brief silence which I enjoyed as well. Ok, I am not much on writing reviews and heaping praise on service providers. I am a busy executive and I like to get good service when I am paying for it. Karen and the team at OC Massage are off the charts...yes, you will not be disappointed. I have traveled the world and been to top notch resorts but the therapists are not as caring and skilled as Karen and Sharon. Karen is tops in her field. This is a small massage place with friendly, professional staff. It is conveniently located in the Food Lion shopping center which is a couple of blocks from our condo. The rooms are very clean with a calm beach-themed decor. I thoroughly enjoyed my 1 hour massage. The masseuse worked out a cramp in my calf that had been driving me crazy. I was very grateful for that! The price was in line with or even a little less than the larger Spas in the area.
