Wow, how did I not know about this hidden gem.......conveniently they are located about a mile and a half from my shop. So I've been by there about 3 or 4 times in the last month now. Just bought and paid for a Sig Sauer P938 for CC. The customer service there is top notch. NOT like so many gun stores where you get major "attitude" from the workers....it's a small business with solid small business ethics and customer service. AND the prices are really competitive.....we're talking as good a price as can be found online.....but in a brick and morter....Yep, it's my new favorite gun store. Good stuff. So far this shop has made a huge positive impact on me. They obviously understand that they are not only selling a product but most importantly they are selling their service!which in the end is what ANY customer including myself should be looking for. They fully understand that when it comes to customer service the customer generally wants 3 things, in my opinion of course. They need to feel welcome, feel that their business is important to the dealer/vendor and most of all they need to be educated whether they know it or not and regardless if they are experienced or brand new to firearms, you can always expect these guys know and more importantly are happy to help you understand. Which is exactly what I got here and unfortunately not a service you find too often nowadays. Personally I felt like they knew what I wanted and needed before I did! Picked up my Mossberg 835 12 Gauge Ulti Mag today. My DROS time was after there closing time. After explaining to them that I had plans to take this shotgun on a hunting trip tonight, they had no problems in staying late and running my paperwork. The customer service here is OUTSTANDING!!!! Their pricing is very competitive and if they don't have what you are looking for in stock......chances are they can get it. I use to go to turners and rifle gear all the time. turner- good selection, but prices are crazy high and the people who work there always talk down to you, even when I'm checking out a gun there, they act like I've never handle one before, and act like I'm going to drop it or something. rifle gear- also has an amazing selection, and the staff is a bit nice but the prices are still up there. oc firearms- cheapest prices, the staff acts more like friends then staff, any time i have questions about guns or the laws about specific guns, they always help me out. And the owner Steve is the best, if your looking for something that isn't on the website or isn't in store,he will do his best to find it for you. I could honestly hang out there all day and talk about guns cons- be prepared to spend money, with their prices, i always end up starting a dros... If you're in the market to purchase a pistol deemed "unsafe" (non-roster) by the state of California, OC Firearms is the place to go to. I've ordered and bought two Sig Sauer pistols from them that weren't listed on the Department of Justice certified handgun roster. In order to have them be compliant in the eyes of the DOJ, Steve and his crew single-shot exempted them and blocked the hi-cap magazines so they only held 10 rounds. Prices are slightly higher then their nearby competitor and the store may not be as big or have as much inventory as other local firearms dealers, but they can probably get you exactly what you want and that's why I go to them. read more

So check it out, I took apart my Sig P238 and cleaned it up like I have done several times now. This time I accidentally turned the safety switch to the 12:00 o'clock position after I removed the slide and a little spring flew in to the air and landed on the floor. Talk about a needle in a haystack. It took a while but I found it and again it took a while but I got it all back together. Then driving down the road a few days later it hit me that there is a good chance that just maybe I put it back together wrong. So I stop in and the guy stood everything looked at my gun played around with it a bit and handed it back to me. The guy was super busy and super KOOL. I love this place because it's but a BIG shop full of egos and assholes. My goal is to buy, fix and repair all my weapons here because theses guys deserve it. read more

Great customer service. Prices are even lower than other competitive store in the area. Much better than Turners who does the good ole bait and switch. These guys at OCF are the real deal. My first time at OC Firearms was also the first time I purchased a hand gun. To sum the experience up, perfection. The store front itself was somewhat difficult to find. Once i found it, I went in with my other half and started perusing the store. While they do not have much on display, i realized they keep much of their stocks tucked away. I needed a handgun safety card in order to make a purchase which was administered on site quick and easy. After selecting the model I wanted we did the paperwork on the computer to process the DROS and paid. Bam that easy. While they didn't have the exact model in hand (Theres over 20 variations of the M&P9) I was able to check one out and see what to expect when I recieved mine. I came to OCF in the past when they used to be in FV to get some work done on my R700 5R, but the small storefront/seating area/and lack of employees kind of put me off. Came in right after they opened on a Saturday morning and picked up the last sam7 they had in stock. Matt was very personable; not once did I feel rushed.(I see you Stockade) Although I usually frequent Riflegear and their service is great, they are business, business, business. At OC firearms/outdoors I felt like I was talking to a buddy rather than a worker. He let me check out as many firearms as i wanted without glaring at me to make sure I wasn't damaging the merchandise(I see you turners). I wish they were still in FV, but I'll probably be taking my business to OC firearms/outdoors now. With all these ridiculous CA firearms laws, the stores are getting more and more packed due to gun scares. Knowledgeable staff members here! I bought my SMOS GFY-15 after having noobie questions about AR15s. Mark assisted me on buying my first AR15 and was very knowledgeable about the rifle. Everything Mark said about the SMOS was on-point when I bought it out to the range for the first time, been shooting it once/twice a week since purchase. Today, I came in to buy a few more 10-round magazines and ended up pulling the trigger on a Colt M4 Carbine. Matt is very cool in assisting me picking up a Colt M4 that I've been looking for the past couple weeks. I'm really glad I came in today and they had one in stock. This place is great. Went to check this place out after being very put off by Ammo Bros a few months ago (and it looks like I'm not the only one based on the reviews). Definitely was a place where customer service and friendliness was appreciated by both the staff and the customers I saw. First sign of this was when I walked in, and Steve was helping out an old Chinese couple with a purchase. There was a definite language barrier but Steve remained friendly and polite instead of getting annoyed. Steve and another friendly staff member Wes helped me out with a handgun purchase which went very smoothly. The cherry on top was the cute dog in the store. Well first off, they LOST my paperwork for my rifle (very professional) after I bought it, and I had to drive 30 miles just to go fill it out again so they wouldn't get in trouble. And in return, I asked that they fix my pistol, and the gunsmith said yes I will do it for free. I go drive all that way to fill out paperwork AGAIN, and then they have me wait 45 days to simply put a spring back in place, no new parts! AND they charge me 45 dollars for it.
