Fantastic handyman service! I had a laundry list of stuff in my backyard that was broken - a non-functional fire pit, an exterior light hanging by it's wires, and several water-logged exterior spotlights that didn't work. Everyone I talked to was extremely communicative, they used an online system to get me a quote and an approval of the work - very nice. The repair person was great about setting expectations for the work that was about to be done. It turned out water had gotten into the gas lines for my fire pit and completely clogged it - rendering my gas grill useless at the same time. After troubleshooting for about an hour, the repair person went to Home Depot, bought the proper piping and completely re-piped the fire pit. I would absolutely use OC Professional Maintenance again and will be calling them again next time I need repairs on my home. read more

Great first impression of this company with communication and confirmation on day/time for estimate. I took work off on 9/21/23 for the estimate, the guy showed up on time and was very professional. If someone took down the wrong address, common sense would be to call the client or to show up when given a second chance at the time they said they would. I am a professional and curteous to all. They are either confused or dishonestly making up a story to make excuses for unprofessional behavior. We used OCPMT in September 2020 for a few bathroom projects: installing new fans, painting the ceiling with mold resistant paint, and re-glazing our shower tiles. At the time, the service was great and we had no issues. Unfortunately, in June 2022 (less than two years after the service), our glaze began peeling in our shower. OCPMT had informed us that the glaze was meant to last around 5+ years. We followed the care instructions, but unfortunately the glaze peeled. I reached out to Jennifer to inquire about if they can come repair the peeling, given that this happened less than 2 years in, when we were told it would last 5+ years. Not only did Jennifer refuse to take accountability for the obviously poorly done job, but she also went back on her claim of it lasting 5+ years. And refused to come fix our shower! Additionally, she didn't even recommend another service to help us either. She was very rude (I have the email chain to prove it) and we are so disappointed. We will never use her company again, and we have already warned others to stay far away. They do not even meet the bare minimum for good customer service. All we asked for was a fix - we didn't even ask for it to be done free. We used this small company because we assumed their customer service would be genuine compared to large companies... sadly, their customer service was worse. Very disappointing. read more

I had an adjuster, possibly the business owner come by to get an estimate to provide to my HOA and explained to him that the other part of the wall had to be replaced as well due to some water damage that caused part of the accessible wall to deteriorate. I am writing a review for the OC Professional Maintenance Team and the work done on my bathroom and kitchen. As a new homeowner there were a few things I wanted to take care of before getting settled into our daily routine and hoping in a few years I can do a full remodel. I can be a little much with the work I expect as a designer. I entrusted Jennifer with our projects as my husband and I work full time and I would not be able to fully take care of it. The work was up to my standards, her crew made sure the leveling of the floors in the bathroom and Kitchen were leveled correctly as there was a small dip in the restroom and the kitchen that bothered me as the fridge was slightly angled. The kitchen had a bare wall of 6 feet next to my stove I wanted to fill with cabinets and 2 feet of countertop room that matched the original cabinets in finish (as close as possible to keep within my budget). We had a peninsula island removed that added a better flow into the dining area. The only complaint would be she took a little longer then I had expected which was understandable because the work in the restroom flooring needed more work with the subfloor and the floor joists than originally expected. The change order was reasonable to the extra work to get it done right. What I liked most was the floor base work they countersunk the nails and patched and painted and sealed after installation. These are the details I was expecting and OCPMT delivered. OCPMT left the job clean at the end of each business day. I am happy and content with the work performed. When I am ready for the full remodel OCPMT will be my GC. read more

I called them to do a simple project that is literally almost done. All I needed done is for them to put in my window a/c unit in. The hole and everything is already cut out and it's framed and everything. I just had to return the a/c because it didn't work. They quoted me at least $550. And it would take at least 4 hours. I sent them pictures of what needed to be done. I said It should only take about 2 hrs at max. Hector the guy I was talking to just laughed at me. And said like you know what you are doing. So I had my boyfriend call and hector told him then do it your self. Then Hector called me back and said since I can't handle things on my own we will not be doing business with you. I found a guy who is charging me a lot less and sounds much more professional. I feel that they are taking advantage of women. Extremely happy with Jennifer and her company, OC Professional Maintenance. Hector came out to give me a free estimate on a front door that was very difficult to open (the bolt was freezing and not allowing the handle to open the door). He was very friendly and professional. After some discussion, I told him I'd get the hardware as everything had to match what was there so I didn't have to have the whole door repainted if it didn't cover the same area as the original hardware (I have an HOA so need to meet their requirements). I also figured I'd save some money by hunting down the parts myself. Luckily, after some detective work I found out that the hardware was still under warranty and the company would send me everything at no cost but it would take 6-9 weeks. I let OCPM know and they said no problem, just let us know when it comes in. Once it did, I scheduled an appointment and they sent Peter to do the job. He did it cheerfully and made sure it was working properly to my satisfaction. I also had another job which he did for me as well. Thought their labor charges were extremely fair. In fact, I've forwarded their info. to my HOA as the guy they referred and said he'd call me, I never heard from. For those of us who aren't handy, this is a tremendous service!
