Ultimately, Mel is honest and reasonable and overall a nice guy. He was honest enough to return all our money back after a repair of our dishwasher was not fully fixed and put back properly. At first, Mel responded very quickly, and said he could maybe come out on the weekend, however he ended up coming on Monday. He was unable to repair the dishwasher fully at the first visit, so he had to come back at 2 separate visits over the following two weeks. While Mel responds to texts, he had to change times at the last minute one time, and I had to reach out to him to see when he was going to come each time. After 3 visits he was unable to fully repair the Bosch dishwasher. I have to agree with another Yelper about the value. I needed a heating element replaced in my oven and they charged a LOT. That said, the oven is one of the more expensive brands (my fault) and not as easy to find parts. BUT, I do believe that my oven will be good for another 10 years. Mel and assistant were thorough, polite and timely and I believe they are quite skilled. Unfortunately, they did leave a bit of a mess on kitchen floor. Not a huge deal but just one of those things that sticks out to me as part of what I would consider good customer service. True professional and experienced technicians. Mel, Daniel, and Gennedy expertly diagnosed my LG French door refrigerator. Experience lead them right to a Freon leak in the upper compartments coil and a blockage frequently found in this model due to compression caused by robotic assembly of the Freon line to the lower freezer coil. As I watched they showed me the leak and the compressed tiny tube where the blockage was obvious. The blockage caused the compressor to stay on continuously which burned the oil until the tube was completely blocked and the compressor burned out. AMAZING! Complete overhaul including new compressor, upper coil, welding in new tube where the blockage occurred, flushing out all the burned oil, and recharging the freon for the price originally estimated for a new compressor. Cost approximated about 25% of the original cost of the fridge 7 years ago. Correcting the design flaws their experience exposed may result in the appliance lasting longer than the last seven years.
