Stan was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. It ended up being a drain problem so he couldn't fix it...BUT what made the difference is what he did after. He recommended a plumber, who happened to be out of the country. After he left my house he called back, saying that he spoke to the plumber and gave recommendations for fix it ourself solutions, and price range so I could compare when I called other companies. On a Friday, my built-in Thermador microwave oven stopped working. By 11:30 AM the following Saturday, it was working again. And it's all because of Royal Appliance. Royal's tech was scheduled to arrive between 11-2 on Saturday. Instead, he was early. His name is German Titov and he was courteous, meticulous and efficient. He quickly removed and disassembled the unit. He then replaced the magnetron with a new one. A quick test with a glass of water (yes - it was hot!) and then German reassembled and replaced the unit in its space. Super fast, super correct. He also did a quick reprogram on my Thermador fridge (Thanks). Royal quoted a price and that is exactly what I paid. No nonense. I honestly did not use Royal Appliance Services for repairs, but they definitely deserve 5 stars for their communication and honestly through Yelp. My rental property had a rusted ice maker in the fridge, and after sending pictures of the issue, they gave me a quote for the repairs without even coming out to look at it. They even mentioned that it would probably be worth it to buy a new appliance altogether. I went to another company as a second opinion (and paid $75), and Royal's quote was EXACTLY the same as the other company which also told me it would make more sense to buy a new fridge. Even though I have not used them but I had 2 separate incidents where my washer and dryer are not working... I called and spoke with Stan and he is very responsive, follow through, honest and tell me to better off buy a new appliance instead of repairing it. I called early in the week... Stan(the Owner) answered. Stated my microwave/oven combo was not working correctly. He asked if there were error codes on the display. He stated if I could send him some info related to the unit he could check on the parts needed. I supplied him the information needed. He then got back to me in a few hours with a bid to repair the unit. On Friday he came out and performed the repairs. The microwave/oven unit is now running just fine.
