These guys are really friendly and I was very happy with the service I received. I took an air compressor in for a much needed overhaul. We had to wait a bit for parts, but once they arrived the boys at Wisdom fixed up my compressor FAST! Their pricing for the repair was reasonable. Horrible experience. I had a contractor doing a job at my place. His paint spray machine stated to fail. I had picked up a U-Haul from this place once so I decided to give them a try and sent him there. He was not told there was a fee to check out the issue which okay sure you don't work for free. However, they are not very professional nor proactive. We had to call 6 days after to check in and nothing had been done. The guy on the phone promised an update soon and sure enough 45 minutes later he had the diagnosis. We suspect they did nothing for 6 days. The quote was $595 for a spray gun worth $700. We said no and picked it up. We went to the bigger store (you would think it's expensive) Dunn-Edward's in Anaheim which fixes spray guns and to my disbelief they fixed it in one day, sent a text when ready, and charged $134. These place will not be able to compete with the bigger stores and I don't think they should. They rip off people. Be careful. read more

Dropped off a Senco stapler to get repaired. I got charged a fee so they can diagnose the issue, which is typical and fair. They ended up fixing it without contacting me to let me know what exactly needs to happen and how much it would cost to do the work. They were charging as much as buying a new one. So we didn't pay for it and left it with them. I'm really upset about it because we weren't afforded the opportunity to decide whether to let them fix it or not. So I can't get the nail gun back and use it for parts. they're going to end up selling it for a great profit because they essentially got the nail gun for free. Not to pile on them, but they have had my Festool sander with vacuum for well over a year now. No calls ever come from them. I have to call them every once in a while to get a status. They can't seem to get the parts for it. I'm sure this tool is lost or already sold. Sorry...but not going to come back nor will I recommend this place. read more

These guys are total rip offs. Don't take your tools to get repaired here. I would also check to make sure if you buy any thing from them, it's got a serial number and trace it? They repaired a generator less than a yr ago and replaced the carburetor supposedly? It cost over 400 to get that done. So unfortunately it stopped working because of the cord needing to be replaced. Which would have been minor repair. Without calling and letting my husband know the cost, they went ahead and did the supposed repairs. They came up with all the same things and more that needed to be replaced that they supposedly replaced less than a yr ago. They tried to gaslight me and would not give me the items until I paid their ridiculous amount. So, the deal is they probably rip off people a lot and when they won't pay the rip off fee, they keep the tool and probably sale it. Don't leave your tools in this place. They will rip you off. They even had puppies in the place and probably are back yard breeders. If you've had tools stolen in orange country look here for it for sure. read more

I dropped off my tool to get repaired and they told me they would diagnose it within two days and it took 5 days. Then they proceeded to overcharge me and the reason I know they did was because the other shop I took it to said that it was a very basic fix. Also the 80 dollar diagnosis fee is twice as much as any other place. I will say that the owner is very nice though and knows his stuff. read more

Very unsatisfied customer. I dropped of my bandsaw on 12/6/2021 for maintenance work and small repairs. They charged me 80.00 dollar deposit. Zero parts were replaced and no maintenance was done. They said my machine would be ready in 3 weeks. Unfortunately 3 weeks turned into 2 months. They have horrible customer service and communication skills. The multiple times I called to check the status of my machine, the associate would say the same thing "we have to order parts because we don't have them, does that make sense" When I asked about the total cost the associate would say "we are not their yet, does that make sense" After two months of waiting they finally called me and said " we were unable to get parts nor do anything to your machine does that make sense" When I asked if my 80.00 dollar deposit would to be refunded back to me the associate said "Negative, a tear down fee is what you paid thank you, does that make sense" However in person the associate called his service "inspection" not a tear down. There were no signs of any tear down. This business and the associate failed to repair nor perform any maintenance on my machine. I find what happened to be unacceptable at all scales. Was sent here for a specialty bolt by McFadden Dale and the gentleman that helped took the time out of his day to not only look through his inventory for a reverse thread bolt that I lost for my alter Saw and Craftsman said was not available but he also got on line and checked the model number found the part number and confirmed it was unavailable but continued to dig through his private stock and located one and then gave it to me for free. I can't say enough about the customer service and sacrifice on his part, if he was willing to go to these lengths for my 1 little bolt that he gave me for free I can only imagine the attention he would give to my power tools and can't wait to give him the opportunity Highly recommend FIVE STAR PLUS!!! read more

The blade holder on my Dewault jigsaw broke. I attempted to order a new one, but it had been discontinued. But, I was able to order a replacement module for the front of the jigsaw with the new, current blade holder assembly. But, I was unable to disassemble the jigsaw to replace the module as it required a special tool, and no instructions were provided with the replacement part. I called several repair shops that said they could not help me. I called Wisdom and he said bring it on in. He installed the replacement part on the spot and charged me only $20. I recommend Wisdom highly. They are now my first stop for any tool repair. read more

I called in the morning about a Hitachi NR90AC3 framing nailer that had sprung a leak. They said , just bring it in -- we can fix it!" I took the nail gun in and, while I was there, told them about an Emglo gas air compressor, which broke that same morning and needed a new pull-start reel. Danny told me to bring the compressor in too and that they would get to it the same day. When I called back to check on the compressor he said that it was done and if I was on my way he would get the nail gun done too so I could take both the same day. I buy only the highest quality tools and choose to repair them with good folks like Danny because I believe it is a better lifecycle value than buying disposable tools. read more

Had a good feeling when I first walked in to the place. The guy was friendly and helpful. After they called me with an estimate for the two nail guns I brought in, I authorized them to fix one of them. That does not mean much to them. They fixed both guns and charged me for it. I also ordered some other parts for tools. After about two weeks I canceled the order. The parts were due to get there after one week. Had a no name drill that rolls tarps up stop working. Found Wisdom on Yelp and took the tool in. Despite there being no parts to fix the issue, the guys used after market parts and the drill is working again. A new drill would have cost me $700 plus freight. The guys fixed it in less than 24 hours for $185. I will be bringing any of my non-working tools to these guys from now on. read more

Really wasnt pleased with this place. Quoted me $120. $60 repair. $60 parts. Got the manufacturer to supply the parts under warranty. Took the parts down there. Go to pick it up and they tell me $125-deposit. Uggh no, totally shady in my opinion, said they would never have repaired it for $60. This is after weeks of unanswered Voicemails etc. Totally unorganized Shady business. Did do the repair somewhat correctly after that, still had to tighten multiple parts that were leaking air.
