You really can't beat this place for eyebrow threading. They do a fantastic job and are quick and friendly for a very fair price.

After many many years of getting my eyebrows threaded i can say with credibility i have never had my eyebrows so messed up as i did when i got them done here. The technician spent more time at one brow than the other and when she was done it was obvious that one was thinner than the other not to mention one had an arch and the other was rounded off lol! So uneven so messy but she insisted that's how my eyebrows are and if i had more she would've done a better job. Just no. I grew them out for more than a month and I know there was enough to work with. Let's just say if I wanted botched eyebrows I would've done them myself at home FOR FREE. That's 10$ I'll never see again, AVOID AT ALL COSTS NOT WORTH THE RISKS. read more

I love this place and mini is a miracle worker. She works on Sundays and Mondays so make sure to make a point to see her! My eyebrows were kind of uneven for most of my life (sisters not twins right??) but within two visits she'd made my eyebrows thicker and more even. I went there on Monday there was new girl finishing up another client I said no response. She just pointed to the chair for me to sit and hold my eyebrows I told her I need just clean. She did not speak just rudely kept tapping her finger on hand to hold my eyebrows or let go. When she finished I told her there are a few hairs on one of the eyebrow can you remove that her response I can't see those . She works only on Monday I asked her name and told her why are you rude. I usually wax at Anastasia brow studio. But decided to give threading at this place a try based on the photos and price point. Lots of hairs still left out of place. No shaping at all, just cleaned up outlier hairs. I had to direct her on how to trim the long hairs. Not sure if it's the technician I got or not. The trim scissors were those mini blunt ones from a sewing kit. Not impressed at all, tinting also was not available as advertised. When I inquired about it, they said the girl was on her way... then spoke in hindi to each other throughout about it and at end said, "nevermind, no she's not coming until Thursday (many days out). Ugh, I hate being a downer but I really don't understand all of these 5 star reviews. I went to Soni to get my eyebrows threaded a while ago. She wasn't SUPER nice and welcoming like everyone else said. She was friendly, but nothing above and beyond. She asked me if I wanted just a touch up and I said yes, but she definitely thinned them out too much and made the shape flatter. Maybe it was cause she was rushing because there was someone ahead of me; I'm not sure. She didn't screw them up, but I didn't leave thinking that my eyebrows looked amazing. I could have done a better job myself. Only plus is that her prices are really affordable! I guess what works for some people might not work for others. read more

I'm always skeptical when it comes trusting people with my eyebrows. Since my last visit to my regular threading salon did not go well... I decided to look for a new spot. This place was a little hard to find, but it was worth the short journey for me. I came in after work and there was no wait. I was referred to Soni by her son, who repairs my computer. It was my first time getting my lips and eyebrows threaded. It was painless and no redness left after wards like waxing. Soni taught me about how the arches on your eyebrows should look and how waxing affects the skin in the long run. She's very knowledgeable and does a fabulous job. I also took my 12 yr old daughter who has never had her eyebrows done. She was so patient with her and did a great job of cleaning her eyebrows up but yet still maintaining her 12 yr old look. Been coming for the last 2months since I just recently moved into the area. I usually go in the mornings on a week day and there's usually no wait. My eyebrows are even and I'm pleased on how they look; esp since I've been told how uneven my eyebrow are naturally. I'm so glad I found this place! Soni's is without a doubt the best place to get threaded in south county. Being too lazy to drive to Costa Mesa or LA constantly to go to my usual threading places, I wanted one that was closer to where I currently lived (Lake Forest). I trusted Yelp, and once again it paid off!! I walked in at 5PM on a Weds, expecting it to be super crowded...but no one was there except for Soni! This initially made me nervous, but I am so glad I risked it. She did a great job on my eyebrows and upper lip, her prices were slightly lower than average, and she was very fast. Mini is an absolute doll. The pricing is quite astonishing all things considering: excellent customer service. My brows look even now: I used to joke that they were sisters, not twins- welp before Mini did her thing they were more like cousins! Ohhhhh the sadness I experienced walking into Family Hair Salon looking for Soni....".what she's gone????" but only down the road.....whew!!!! The art of threading is a craft and Soni is a master!!! So happy to see her open her own shop, it has a warm inviting vibe and is very clean. I would also like to mention that I was thrilled to see the light placement directly above the chair so that you won't walk out into the natural light and see potential "oopsies." Soni takes her time and is a perfectionist and this to me is worth the drive from Laguna Niguel. I won't waste my time trying anyone closer, did that once (tanning salon/threading) I should've known better!!! Bottom line Soni is an AMAZING threader!!! I happened to go in when my regular salon was closed, I was so pleased with the threading I decided to come back. Mini has done my eyebrows both times. She's excellent. I didn't have to tell her to leave the ends of eyebrows alone, she knew. Other places unfortunately have shortened my eyebrows in the past. I am a huge fan of Soni. I used to go to her when she was at the Laguna Hills location inside a hair salon, that hair salon closed and moved to another location and I got busy and had lost contact with her. Recently, I looked her up just to be curious if she is still in the area and was very happy I found her. I came on a Saturday afternoon and she was able to see me immediately. It was great to see her again and her work is still as amazing as always. I am so happy that she finally opened her own store, it was about time. My eyebrows always look better after seeing Soni, I love that they last pretty long without growing back and the treading is really painless. Her pricing is reasonable and she is the only person I trust with my eyebrows. My first yelp review! Yes they were that good! Coming from Vancouver BC where good eyebrow threading is only $5 I was shocked that in Cali the prices were $15-$20! I pretty much gave up that luxury until...........Soni's Brow & Beauty. Only $8! I meticulously yelped eyebrow places in this area since my husband & I drive from SD to shop & eat here quite often and thanks to you yelpers I picked this place. When you walk in there's a clipboard at reception to write your name, what service you are requesting and which employee you want to service you. I figured I would go with Soni since everyone else wrote her name. But when I came back from using the restroom Soni was busy with somebody else so Tina said she would thread my eyebrows. Another yelper said Tina was good too so I wasn't too worried. After listening to what I wanted she started working on my eyebrows. She let me take a look after she was done and when I asked her to take off some more she was happy to oblige and I was very pleased with the results. I loved that she took her time and even cleaned around outside the edges of the eyebrows and also filled them in to show me what they would really look like with makeup. I went to Soni multiple times, who has so many rave reviews and my eyebrows were uneven to the point that my friends pulled my aside to tell me. They are also are manipulative with your pricing, not telling you that the price for getting your cheeks threaded is per cheek... who gets one side threaded and not the other? Of course they don't tell you until they ring you up. At least it's clean, I guess. But what really earns the one star is the fact that I saw Soni verbally abusing and screaming at a client. I don't want to spend my money to potentially have her scream at me for who knows what. read more

Not too busy around lunch hour on a week day. Came in and my friend and I were seen immediately. I don't remember the name of who I got, she wasn't Soni though. However I did appreciate how gentle she was. Normally I get ancy while sitting and being threaded. I appreciated her trimming my eyebrows as well. She was quick too. All in all, not a bad experience. After being redirected from Family Hair Salon to her new location, I was happy to find not only a lovely and very clean salon but more importantly, the very lovely Soni, who not only is a master at her craft of threading, but is an extreme sweetheart! My eyebrows were a hot mess when I first came to her about a month ago, and she has been so wonderfully helpful in the growing out process (not to mention she gave me discount cards to use each time I returned). Soni is very knowledgeable when it comes to brow shapes and regrowing the "corner" of the brow - the key to great eyebrows! She is warm and gentle, kind, genuine, and very skilled at what she does. My experience sucked really bad.ive been going there for about 5 months and would always request Anisa cause of her gentle hands and professionalism. every time I would go and anisa wouldn't be there i would always walk out in pain and uncomfortable especially when the employees would start talking in a different language. (unprofessional and super rude. how would you like it.) I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. It' almost felt like they do it for the money. not to satisfy the customer. 1-10 .1 screw this place.
