From the start, the initial call was helpful, and I was able to schedule an appointment quickly. The manager was great--he was patient, informative, and really took the time to walk me through the options. I opted for the higher-end Stratos series, with 70% tint on the windshield and sunroof, and 30% on the sides. I went with the 30% on the sides for a good balance between looks and function, though in hindsight, I might have gone with a 40% or 50% just to reduce the chance of being pulled over. But that's a subjective decision, and I can still see fine at night with the 30%, so it works. After having the Stratos for a while, I'll admit that I didn't notice as much of a difference as I expected between it and a high-quality ceramic film. If I were to do it again, I'd probably consider going with their regular ceramic for the side windows and keep the Stratos on the windshield and sunroof, where it does feel like a noticeable upgrade in terms of heat rejection and clarity. There were some small air bubbles in the tint, particularly on the sunroof, but I gave it a little time. When they didn't go away, I gave the shop a call. They were really accommodating, and the manager had no hesitation in bringing me in to replace the sunroof tint. I appreciate how they handled this--it's hard to get tint perfect every time (unless you're working in a clean room), but they were eager to make sure I was satisfied, which goes a long way in my book. One minor hiccup was that the price I was quoted online was a bit different than what I was told in the shop. The website has some helpful details, but it showed a car sunroof (rather than a small SUV), which resulted in a higher price. Not a huge deal, and I understand that things can get mixed up, especially with a newer website. When I brought it up in-store, they gave me an upfront quote that was just a little higher than expected (maybe around $70 more), but they were clear about it, and they also offer a nice military veteran discount. I didn't push them to honor the online price because I felt the situation was understandable and fair. Another nice touch was that they use professional software for invoicing, which I didn't see at another shop I've worked with in the past. It adds a level of professionalism that I really appreciated. The shop itself was clean and well-organized, with a waiting area and a restroom. I liked that they had a display showing all their tint options, plus a helpful booklet with examples, so I could see how different tints would look in my car before making a final choice. When I came back for the replacement tint, I was told it would take about an hour. However, I didn't hear anything for a few hours, so I called and was informed that the job was actually done and ready. A small communication hiccup, but no big deal--just something to keep in mind. The only reason I'm not giving a perfect 5-star (4.75 out of 5, though I did round up) review is the small price discrepancy, the initial bubble issue, and the slight difference I noticed with the Stratos compared to ceramic, but considering how quickly they addressed everything and how great the overall experience was, I'm still very satisfied. They truly care about customer service, and I'd definitely recommend Tint Plus if you're looking for a quality tint job with fair pricing, professional service, and great attention to detail.

The price was fair and they were very professional. They give you a physical warranty card, listing out the percentages on each window and product information so that if there are any issues you just take it back and they file a warranty claim. There were no issues with the tint. I did a walk in and I was willing to wait, but once other employees saw me waiting they all went to my car to make sure I got out of there quickly which was really considerate (although I truly did not mind waiting!). Despite moving fast, the results were perfect. The tint job was great, and the heat reduction was immediately noticed with my car. My ac sucked and the tint help it not have to work so hard to keep the car cool. I ended up trading in the car, but I attached photos I took before I had it sold. The only reason I did not go back for my new car was due to the distance from where I live but I regret it! I really wish I brought my current car to them. Trust me, they will take care of you like you are one of their own. They have nothing to hide, they are proud of their work and for good reasons.

TLDR: I Messaged OC Tint shop in 3/6/2019. I send a quote out for many services i want done on my model 3. I took along time to do research on what i want on my model 3 hence the long convo. Im very hesitant because this car means a lot to me so I want to make sure it comes out perfect. When i message mike i wanted chrome delete. tint. PPF. I asked him if he can explain the materials and quality and such and he failed to do so at the start and gave me prices. I asked him again for the materials and quality but he failed to do it a second time and just gave me prices.. it worries me when a sales person does this because they just want your money and not interested in giving you details on the product. Mike keeps insisting to call him or text but isn't a message good enough? Im a busy person and i can't talk during my work hours. I get off work when they close so its not convent for them either to call me after hours. So i ask further and i finally get him to get some info on this "CermicIR" Film that they apparently make. so he said its not crystalline 3m films which i originally wanted but the price was way to high for it.. $1,200 i mean that's a lot most tint shops and big competitors offer it for lower. I asked him about chrome delete info further detail swell and $900 for it is just insane. So i kindly declined it and proceeded with the tint since that's all he gave me info on. I call them for the model 3 tint and they said $475 Cash discount. I said ill bring it next week since i got a day off since it'll take them time and their time didn't fit my schedule. When i message mike and tell him that they offered me $475 he said "$575.00 cash or $600.00 with credit card" I told him that Ifi i bought the yelp deal $200 for $100 would our bring it down to $275 since its $200 off the $475. He said the yelp deal is already included in their pricing??? Why have the yelp deal on your yelp if the yelp deal is always on your price? Why didn't you tell me from the very start that it was included? I caught him in a lie and a flawless in their system in getting a lower price. Please don't think Im dumb or any of the customers are. You're not very transparent in your pricing and you give your customers different prices over the phone than message. very dishonest business. Im taking my model 3 at a more transparent business than yours. BE WARNED! always get a quote in a message so you can catch them in a lie. Part 2: You didnt tell me about the services like PPF, Wrap into detail. that's a lie, I got pictures to prove to you. I did respond to every message you send and i told you to message them to me since im on a busy schedule. why is it your biggest competitors are able to message me all the details but you can't? All i wanted was a group discount but i didn't get any. Will go with another business that wants business. read more

biggest crooks and thiefs if i can give them negative stars i would. i was a repeat customer for years on my previous cars and they lost my business and all my friends business i brought them forever. i will never recommend them to my worst enemy to come and give them business again. they have the most shittiest installers who do the worst job and are more careless than the owner is. the installers are so careless they dont even check there work after they tint each window. i have gone back countless times for dirt and particles left behind between the tint and glass. i have had tint removed here and reinstalled and they left the old glue from the old tint and did not check it leaving the glue between the glass and new film. they value money over customer service and will not refund the customer if he feels the job was done very poorly. being a business owner myself i value the customer always first before the material items as they will always be repeat clients and support my business. they cost me a new rear window after ruining my defroster lines after tinting my back window. they tinted the window without checking for dirt and particles and after tinting they found lint between the film. they decided to pull the film and caused my defroster lines to stick to the film. they are the most careless people to have a profession in this industry. countless bubbles and unprofessional cuts in the film for a high quality ceramic that i over paid for. they will lie to you upfront to bring you in with there great acting to earn your business. after that they will treat you like nothing once they earned your business. biggest scammers and liars. they think you have all the time in the world to keep bringing the car in for the dumbest mistakes they make before tinting the vehicle. travis and the owner mike are the biggest scammers of all and will sweet talk you with there acting of being so customer oriented. they both care less about you and your vehicle and only care about the money you bring them. save your time, effort, money and vehicle and visit the tons of other shops that are available locally who actually care about your business and vehicle. read more

" DO NOT " use this S.O.B. of "OCTINTSHOP" Let me tell you this guys are very very, shaddy... they tell you one thing and then they do another... they often don't use the film that they promise you..... then they quote you one price... and a few days later when you call back to schedual an app. they give you another price.... and then they don't do what they say .... I personaly have experiance this S.O.B. of Mike he is a good "bullshitter" and often talks a bunch of B.S. about how good they are and how good of a job they do....... I will 'NEVER' do business with "CON ARTIS" or let him, or any of his crew touch any of my cars or buildings...... Public be ware of people or business like "OCTINTSHOP" spend your money wisely on a good business that actualy uses good film and stands behind their work with a warranty cirtificate.... dont waste your hard earn money on business like "OCTINTSHOP" who keeps hurting people and desive them of their hard earn money.... We took my wife's brand-new car to OC Tint Shop in Mission Viejo for ceramic coating and window tinting. Upon picking up the vehicle, we noticed a significant water ring around the interior roofline, suggesting the car had been sprayed with excessive amount of water. When I addressed this issue, they scheduled a detailing appointment. We're still hoping this resolves the problem, especially since the car is leased. While reviewing my bank statements, I discovered they charged us over $1,100 more than the original quote. Initially, we were quoted $1,790, and we added the front window and sunroof, which should have brought the total to around $2,050, since that was the amount he told us at time of changes. However, they charged us $2,945. Weird? When I called to discuss this discrepancy, the manager claimed that her said "the balance was $2,050" , totaling $2,945. This was never communicated to us, and I feel this was a deliberate attempt to mislead us. They did not apologize for the misleading information, nor did they offer any credit back after staining our car and overcharging us. Their lack of transparency and professionalism is unacceptable. I cannot recommend OC Tint Shop. They damaged our vehicle and charged us significantly more than quoted. read more

I recently had the pleasure of using OC Tint Shop for my car window tinting needs and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with their service. Not only did they do an excellent job tinting my windows, but their warranty is truly unbelievable. After one year, when Tesla service scratched my window, they re-did the tinting without any hesitation or extra charge. Basically, all I can say about this place is that you should definitely take your vehicle here for window tinting. After doing my research and taking my 99 Chevy Silverado to two other places, this place met my expectation. I came here on a Saturday because my passenger window tinting was starting to come off...Armando...came outside, looked at my truck, gave me a price and that was it. I loved his customer service and me being a female, he did not try to overcharge me or sell something else to me. It took about 3 hours when my last tinting job took well over 5 hours...you want a place that's very customer friendly, great price, who does a very impressive job, and who does not try to get more money from you, you should definitely take your vehicle here first. I can prove my case with very credible evidence. I have nothing to hide. Tinting, Car Wraps, Detail, these services are plentiful in Orange County. This review is not about tint. It is simple to expose you as the LIAR you are. People should be aware of you being a double talking LIAR and NOT put 50% of their money down for a Clown Show of a shop you are. I had OC tint shop do the windows on My car almost 4 years ago. I was able to get an appointment RIGHT AWAY and they came directly to my work and had it done in about 1.5 hours. They were very nice and professional. The best part is that I have not had ANY problems whatsoever with the tinting. It still looks flawless and helped with the re-sale of my car! I have used other companies before them, but will not go back to anyone else. I HIGHLY recommend this tinting company to my friends and family as well. I have a new 2014 Honda Accord. I drop off and pick up my 2 baby girls from the sitter and they are complaining that their car seats are just too hot when they get in. They also complain about the glare. So after doing major research online and calling for quotes, I found OC Tint Shop. I found other shop offers and even a guy who said he could do the job for $140 (all 5 windows) but with me, I rather spend a little more for workmanship and quality. I go in tomorrow morning so I hope things go well. My installer's name is Jesus. OC Tint Shop provided a prompt in-home estimate for window tinting, showing us several options. The job was scheduled quickly, on the date we selected. The installation was very professional --they showed up on time, worked until the job was finished, cleaned up everything, left no debris, and answered our questions. The job was completed at the same price as estimated. Communication throughout the process was excellent, and we were delighted with the finished product. Very Helpful staff! Brianna was very patient with us in answering all our questions. They have a lot of different 3M window tint/shades/ protection to choose from. My daughter suffers from polymorphic sun dermatitis (extreme sun allergy) so we were looking for actual spf sun protection rather than just black windows. She took time in explaining that black tinted windows doesn't necessarily mean the sun protection that we were looking for. We went with the 3M Crystalline 20 for all sides of the car and it looks great! Thanks guys!! read more

Looking, researching for a company to install window tint on my new 2012 Mini Cooper. Came across OC Tint (via yelp) make a call and spoke with Mike, right off the top, got a good feel about this company, straight up, stand up kind of guy(no BS) made an appointment dropped it off the next morning. No sooner than I took a walk for BF, I received a call stating the vehicle was ready for pick-up. These guys do FABULOUS work, to say the least. I would recommend this company all day long. These guys are the best in OC. They did a fantastic job of repairing & re-tinting my girlfrend's car. Initially I took her car to SIGNATURE GLASS Tinting in Costa Mesa which was a BIG mistake. They did a horrible tint job and damaged her car. The owner lied to us several times and never attempted to make things right. When I told the guys at OC Tint Shop, they said they hear that a lot. I have used many different Tint shops over the years. OC Tint shop is by far one of the best. I used the mobile service that came to my house. The installer was dressed nice, didn't smell and was very professional. He was polite and very meticulous with his work. He made sure not to make a mess in the car or garage. I had my wife's car done for her birthday with the nano ceramic tint. She loves it and of course the car is now cooler on the inside as well! Then the rock hit and we had to replace the glass. Just made the appointment to get the same treatment done to the new windshield. Travis called me back within 24 hours to set up the appointment. These guys do great work and I'm thinking my pickup could use their touch as well. read more

I finally decided to go with DAS and I have no regrets whatsoever. I needed a shop that could remove the old, dealer installed "ppf" that cane with the car, install some aftermarket body parts I brought with me, modify my exhaust, then add colored PPF. I primarily worked with Michael. He walked me through the entire process, was transparent about their pricing, and was patient as I had quite a but of scheduling conflicts due to work/travel. He was always responsive and answered my hundreds of questions. I also worked with Auri. He is very meticulous about the product they put out. He noticed a few things that weren't to his high standard (including a dent on my car that was there before I dropped off the car) and had them fixed immediately. Auri is friendly, responsive, and takes a lot of pride in their work (it shows). No doubt I will go to them going forward.

The car ended up getting totaled due to a front end accident and so I bought another one 2004 this time Little older less computer stuff to go haywire and they said they couldn't do it so I thought that was interesting but anyway, no harm no foul. The place did great work before they just couldn't help me now.
