Naturally, the squad mobilized. We've been on a low-key quest for legit Cuban pizza in Ocala, and folks... this place delivered--literally and figuratively. He even gave me a quick call since he was too busy to text but wanted to make sure he got my order right --such amazing service. We ordered four pizzas -- Hawaiian, chorizo (2), and onion--and they were ready exactly at the time I requested. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. He mentioned that on weekends, they also sell tamales and yuca. The pizzas were phenomenal. They brought me right back to the Cuban pizzas from the island! The dough was perfect, and at $10 each, these personal pizzas were a great deal. Cuban pizzas are naturally dense, so even though they're "personal," they definitely filled us up.
