First time here, and I must say it's a small and cozy spot. I love that they offer both indoor and…read moreoutdoor seating. I asked the server/barista what the popular savoury items are to try. She recommended: Rosemary garlic pull-apart, and that was REALLY GOOD. Definitely a 5/5. French onion pull-apart, 4/5. Fig, brie, and prosciutto croissant, 4/5 (wife's favourite). Croque monsieur, 4/5 (kids' favourite). I also ordered an oat milk latte with vanilla syrup, which was 5/5. Really good latte!!! They source their coffee beans from "Honest to Pete," located in Vancouver. A 1 lb bag costs $25, and I'm planning to pick one up on my next visit!

I'd been on the hunt for a spot with good French pastries and cakes. This is a quaint little spot…read morein Coquitlam albeit with very limited seating, I went on a weekend afternoon and it appears that they were sold out of a lot of their pastries. While their pastries/cakes are on the pricier side, the quality was really good. The dark chocolate raspberry mousse ($8.25) was decadent and rich without being overly sweet and honestly their canele tasted pretty much like the one I had in France! The matcha latte here (~$5.50) also was better (less milky and had a stronger matcha flavour) than some other cafes in the area. Overall, a pretty solid cafe in the Coquitlam area though you might need to check ahead for pastry availability.

This place should advertise the small as mini in all honesty - because even for a small - food portion was disappointing. I've had a lot of salty peppery nuggets on my journeys and this one stole the cake - for being one of the most disappointing... partly based on portion for dollar value - but mainly I was trying to figure out when they were made - because they really tasted fresh from the microwave - and that's a huge NO for me Thai milk tea was more on the bitter end - and that was surprising as I forgot to ask for 1/2 sweet so I was ready for a sugar rush from the condensed milk - but to my surprise it was a very bitter - heavy black tea taste to it- and the pearls was not something to write home about... https://www.instagram.com/vanleo.eatsfood1015/ I am glad they are a gem for the locals nearby - however for someone who went out of the way to give it a go - I was disappointed. Let me know what the must tries are - so I know what to order if i venture to this part of town again !

The cheapest in van is $3.99 but average is still $5 so this place costs about average. However they dont put enough of the powder. I've had worse and really watered down. This is somewhere in between. Definitely can benefit by adding more powder. Have yet to try other stuff but looking forward to fresh fruit smoothies since a lot of bbt places don't do that.
