Never in my entire life have I had such a terrible financial transaction - ever. My transaction was…read morejust about as cut and dry as one could be and yet Jade Mortgage still manged to make a complete disaster of it, lied to me repeatedly and charged me a TON more money than the transaction should have been. Five months. It took FIVE months for our re-finance to close. Something that should have been what, 45 days max? So, Because of this, we paid an extra 3-4 mortgage payments, which of course are 70% interest - so thanks Johnathan - I guess you don't mind throwing thousands of dollars away (because you're over charging your clients of course), but I don't appreciate throwing our money away. Johnathan Lied to my loan officer who was helping me, at least 15 times that I can find in all the E mails that went back and fourth - if you're lying to your employee who is doing my transaction, that means you're lying to me. There were months of drama with title and after doing my own homework, it was ALL Jade Mortgages fault! My loan agent was charged, by Johnathan, for TWO extensions - extensions that I have proof were excused, but Johnathan LIED about it, charged my loan agent and pocked the money - ON TOP of the ridiculous high closing costs that I was charged. I was told that the costs were normal by Jade but after speaking to two different industry consults, I was told no, they are not normal and that I was was charged several thousand dollars more than I should have been, and for a disaster of a transaction with 5 months of stress, wasted travel and bad treatment. I immediately E mailed Johnathan and called and left him several messages to please contact me to explain each line item but do you think he called me or wrote me back? Of course not - why would someone so shady and slimy call me after he has our money. After all of that - I STILL do not have the deed to the house we paid off, I have STILL not been followed up with or my questions answered AND after all of the hard work that my loan agent did, Johnathan screwed him over with fake fees and non payment. If a company treats their employees bad, their clients worse and can't tell the truth - they should not only be over looked for future transactions but they should also loose their license - period. Thank goodness I have everything in writing, so proving how badly they burned me, and the loan agent, can be done and I can only hope that with all of the information, Jade Mortgage will be held accountable!
