I am out 120.00, the lady on the phone canceled my account but would not credit anything. The lady who sold it to me was fired because she was not fully informing customers. WOW, local business, treats local residents not very well at all. Never going back. CREDIT WAS NEVER OFFERED when I just called. She said she canceled my acct., I also did on line. Jenna Haberman - One of the worst days for me. I finally was able to get my dream car for me & my kids. 2018 white 4Runner. I just purchased it about a week ago, completely obsessed with it. I purchased from a PRIVATE owner , and was the ONLY owner of the vehicle. Was always parked in garage, which proof was in the condition of the car. No marks at all on the paint, it was so beautiful. Today I decided to give it its first wash and sign up for a membership here. Terrible mistake. First thing I noticed was when I was pulling out of the wash , there was a rubber door seal flapping in the wind, I panicked! But quickly realized once I parked to vacuum, it was an easy fix back into place. Next , I noticed the front of my vehicle had WAY more tiny paint chips than it did before. With a white car, it's really noticeable up close. I was SO upset. I 100% would've noticed all these chips before purchasing the vehicle ONE week ago. I really wanted to go and talk to the workers but I didn't because I had my kids in the car. I decided to leave because my baby was getting upset . & on my drive home, I called one of the corporate ladies, she was very kind & listened to me even with me crying the entire phone call. I get home, And notice on the driver door a big scuff/scratch. Then I really bursted into tears. I look back a little ways on the same side, and long behold there was a scratch going down the side. You could tell the brush at the car wash or some thing went down the side and left those marks. I looked on the other side and there were a couple scuffs (that were not there before) but not as big as the ones on the left side. I then notice that there is a piece of plastic missing on my left side mirror!!! I unload the kids, waited a little bit of time at home and then decide to reload the kids & drive back so I can bring it to the workers attention and hopefully get some sort of explanation or offering to help in someway. I couldn't stop thinking about it, I was actually distraught. I just bought my dream car, haven't even had it 2 weeks yet, and this happened. I could barely even talk to the workers because I still was fighting back tears as I show them the marks. They took my name & number , said there's video footage they'll look over and get back to me. I personally don't see how they can see if a scuff was there or not before going through, but man would that be a miracle if they could!! One of the workers tells me that if I come back tomorrow , he can buff out those marks. We will see what happens tomorrow. But I will never, ever, go to an automatic car wash again. I got a call back from corporate on my way home and she proceeded to tell me that she wanted to relay a message that her boss had said. " she had said that a lot of times when someone buys from car dealerships , they do everything in their power to cover up any scratch marks or scuffs. Once you purchase the vehicle and run it through a car wash for the first time , then the marks will appear, rinsing away the cover up" ......... I then proceeded to tell her that, no, I purchased from a private owner who took very good care of the vehicle and saw no marks when I purchased it. I am so bummed. BEYOND bummed. I feel dumb for taking my like new car through this car wash. I hope they show some sort of sympathy and that the video footage shows something. I wish they'd atleast offer a detailing. Or even a reimbursement for the wash cycle! Ugh if I could take back today, I would!!!! Don't take your nice new cars here, especially if they're a wider vehicle. Smaller , thinner cars, probably is fine. These marks WERE NOT HERE, before I entered this wash. read more

Okay car wash. Selfish employees. My son is in the Army National Guard at Fort Huachuca, AZ. Because I live in Arizona, I am taking care of his car. It has California license plates. To cheer him up, I took the car to get a great car wash. He would be comforted knowing his car is being pampered. I grabbed a few photos during the car wash to text to him, hoping it would make him smile. The training he is receiving is critical to our national security, but it's grueling. Early mornings, activities in the rain and in the heat. A smile would do him good. When I exited the car wash, a very young man, signaled me to roll down my car window and stop. He told me the female employee at the beginning of the car wash was OFFENDED that I took her picture (I got her left elbow) because it was an invasion of HER privacy. He seemed awkward about it. I was shocked, embarrassed, and confused. I gave no response. OFFENDED? Really? Doesn't she know that her company boasts of a state-of-the-art video surveillance system and she is ALWAYS on camera? So much for her privacy. I know of no law, ordinance, or regulation that prohibits taking photos in public businesses for private use unless expressly stated by the company and posted to the public. My son is dedicating his life to protect her right to be offended. Her entitled selfishness OFFENDED ME! There are lots of other car washes in Prescott. I'm betting I can find one that supports the American Military. Blue Ocean certainly does not. read more

I have had two cars with this company for years and the Prescott Valley store screwed up settings and broke my Jeep windshield and light bar and REFUSE to take care of it! After talking to no less than 5 people I was informed they will do nothing for me - and the "authority" at this car wash said he's as high as I can go to resolve issue. I work close to this car wash so it extremely convenient for me. I go weekly at the least. I upgraded to the interior clean for an extra $20.00 a month. So I am paying $40.00 a month. They don't do a good job on the interior. They never have enough staff. I went today and when they gave my truck back to me, the center console was still dusty. I emptied the trash from the drivers door when I exited and when I got it back, they had not vacuumed the door slot out as there a tiny piece of paper still there. They use dirty towels on the windshield The owners need to spend more time training the interior staff on how to clean properly. I love the service and convenience of this car wash. Don't EVER use Ocean Blue Car Wash I went there for the first time in a year because I do not like using automatic car washes in general. My car is meticulously maintained and all stock, the car wash ripped off my trunk trim and shattered it. This trim was held on by four bolts and was securely fastened, not something that would just fly off. When I spoke to the manager they basically said "too bad". They clearly do not stand behind their services and refused to give corporates information. Don't ever go there if you care about your vehicle. UPDATE: The business owner's response is priceless. There was nothing wrong with this car when it went through the was. Poorly maintained equipment is the reason for the damage. Lack of accountability on the owner's part just solidified my statement in my original post. We won't go there again. Period. Our car went in with no damage and came out with the rear bumper hanging off. The technician put the bumper as close to back in place as possible before taking pictures however I took pictures before he "half fixed" it. The brackets that hold the bumper on were ripped off the car. The sad thing is that my husband has been a loyal customer for years. He won't be any more. We will fix it ourself after waiting 3 days for a response from them only to hear that they can't see anything in their car wash that did damage. I wish them well because based on their yelp reviews prior to mine they are failing miserably at serving their customers. They said they hope we will continue to go to them for car care. I am an unlimited member and recently called their headquarters to advise of a poor wash job and inquire if my selected wash had somehow changed. Your service is great but you have to get rid of those towelettes and the smelly rear view mirror hangers. Give them to the local crime labs to coverup the smell of corpses. They are too strong and unpleasant. I think it lessens my desire to use your service. I'm glad I have the option of refusing to accept it. read more

The guy who works the entrance uses a closed fist to tell you to stop and thinks it's an international symbol. Training is a must. Car wash itself is excellent ! Well maintained and clean. However not knowing the hand sign for stop. Could cause major damage to someone's car and the car in front of it. I'll ask for someone else when i go. Reply to response: not Yet! Noticed on my credit card that they were charging me. When I called to discuss, the representative could not have been MORE CONDESCENCING AND DISRESPECTFUL. When I first drove up the young man guiding the cars in was great... Thus the three stars. But when I got to the vacuums one of their employees in a red Jeep Cherokee came up alongside me blasting his music. I asked him nicely to please turn it down and his comment was, "It's a free world I can do whatever I want." I noticed he worked for Oceans Blue car wash because he had his employee shirt on and when I asked for the manager another young kid comes out while on his cell phone and basically says nothing to me and when I ask him about it he says he has the right to do whatever he wants. I'm posting pictures so the real manager can see what goes on when he's not around. Too bad because most of the times this place is great! UPDATE #2 - I just got off the phone with the "real manager". He was not aware of the response that I got and was very, very apologetic. It seems this on-site manager that responded to my complaint and to whom I originally spoke to is no longer there. Not just because of what happened but they didn't feel he was what they needed in that position. I just want to say how impressed I was speaking to Alex. That's why am changing my review again. I still go here but even the manager who said to call her didnt reply to me. They didnt seem to understand about modern things like a charge card chip vs swipe. I made multiple trips even to a store an hour away to fix this and somehow they didnt get my card entered correctly so i had to go back yet again. My vehicle was extensively damaged including two dents and broken glass. The manager told me that the damage is not covered due to my vehicle being over 7 yrs old and that they are not liable to fix a vehicle that is over 7 years old. I have a 2005 Dodge pickup that was in very good shape prior to the carwash damaging the right side of the truck. I had two vehicles on monthly accounts at this carwash for several years and I'm shocked and angry at the response to damage of my vehicle. I was completely blown off and the manager refused to give me the name or contact information for the owner of the company. He just said that he was sorry and that he agreed with me but there was nothing he can do. To the response that Ocean Blue posted below. The base of the antenna did not fail. The antenna was ripped out of the metal fender. The antenna itself or the base was not even damaged after the event. The metal fender of the truck was bent and ripped open as the base of the antenna was pulled through the fender. This would of happened if the truck was brand new. The metal of the fender was in perfect condition prior to the wash. The age of the vehicle had absolutely nothing to do with this incident. I just happened to be the unfortunate customer of a company that doesn't care about its customers in the event something goes wrong. I will share my experience with everyone that I come in contact. I am bummed out that this is the stance of this company... prior to this I actually liked to use the carwash. read more

I have been a member of Ocean Blue since the first one opened several years ago on Hwy 69 in Prescott Valley, AZ. The washes are not perfect but at least the car looks better. In the last few weeks, I added a second vehicle. At the time, the attendant told me it was $10 a month for each additional vehicle on the membership. The charge was correct for that vehicle on my card. However, when I added our 3rd car on the plan, I was charged $19.99 rather than $10. I stopped by today and was told that I was told wrong, that I have to pay a higher amount for the first car to get the $10 per additional car. I explained that was not what I was told and asked for the manager. Daniel is the person I was speaking with, he said he was the site manager at the 2nd St locatoin and he could not do anything about the charges. I asked how I could reach the general manager, and he refused to give me the information. I told him he would lose my business and he said that's fine, I don't care. I cancelled my membership for all 3 cars. When I called the Customer Service number on the website, it was answered by the 2nd St. location so it was useless. I would appreciate hearing from the general manager to discuss my issues and see whether he is willing to lose my business. read more

On September 10th 2022 at 825 am I went in to wash my 04 audi a4. After getting the through the wash I was at the very end stall toweling of and vacuuming my car. When a young man with dark long hair(who later identified himself as the manager) started blowing the past of the lot I was doing my just cleaned car. Only three cars in the whole vacuum lot and all at the same endand he chose there to blow dust around. I informed him that he was blowing dust around around freshly cleaned cars to which he replied he had a job to do. I asked him again to stop blowing dust on the car I just spent $25 cleaning in his establishment. He said with a straight face and a leaf blower in his hand that he wasn't trying to blow dust around. That he was just cleaning his lot. I asked for the manager (I figured this kid was either dense or intentionally trying to agitate customers, either way I was better off talking with someone else so I could say civil.) Nope that is when he said he is the manager. So I asked again for a refund so I could wash my car in a place that didn't blow dust all over other peoples cars. Again he refused only offering a rewash in the same place but at this point I didn't trust the staff or service there. So I told him to move, stopped trying to clean my car, and left. And I doubt if I'll ever be back it was a truly bizarre and terrible experience at that location. He had either no common sense or is actively undermining that operation and agitating customers on purpose judging by my interaction.
