I just had 2 cars inspected here. They were professional and friendly. Wait time was not long and the shop is clean and nice. 5 stars!

I went Into my local Mobil mart tonight On church st in Pembroke Ma. i was fuleing up my two Gas…read morecans bc we're expecting a hurricane. I had two 5 gallon gas tanks and I also brought my empty propane tank from home to make sure I'm fully stocked up incase we get hit! I pulled up was paying at the pump with one of my ear pods in (Since I was paying and pumping out at pump I didn't think this was rude) When I popped my hatch my propane tank had rolled out and almost Dropped on my toes. So I set it outside on the level ground and went on to unplug my gas cans. I was finishing up with my debit card pin and beginning to select my Fule (WITH THE PUMP IN MY RIGHT HAND) when a female employee named Tabitha came up to me (with no mask on) and asked if I needed help. I politely said "Nope I think it finally went through thanks" she then picked up the propane tank and rudley told me that I can't have it near the pump. I said ok well I will move it in a min. Im pumping the gas now. she said "It cant be over here I have to take it incase of explosions." Ok fine. I finished up fueling and then backed my car up over to the propane tank area and went in to pay for a new tank. Tabitha was at the register and she rang me out and was AGAIN VERY RUDE AND unprofessional! When she gave me the new tank outside, I nicely asked "Ok so for future referenc, if I left the empty tank inside the back of my car even if the hatch is wide open and just 1 foot away would that be ok and safe?" she stated yelling at me and said "for future reference, you're not supposed to be on the cell phone. for future reference you also can't have a Vape pen in your hand and for future reference you cannot fuel with the pump on the ground to level it while you pump!" I tried explaining to her that I was not leveling the pump on the ground while it was pumping. She said I was! What I did do, so it would all be on 1 transaction was once the first 5 gal was full, I quickly stuck the pump (WHILE IT WAS OFF) into the second empty can hold so I could close the first one. Then I continued to pump the second with both of my hands! Long story long, I did notice a smell of propane as soon as I started to drive away just thought it was normal. I ran into petco for less than 10 mins with my windows closed in my car. when I opened the hatch at petco all I could smell was propane!!! Sure enough, the tank had been in the "On" position! She MUST HAVE LOSENED IT WHILE SHE got it out and placed it in my car. since she clearly had some sort of issue witI me from the moment I pulled up! The dial was lose not closed tight at all! I know that those are filled off sight so there is no way that it was lose from being filled or else it would have been completely empty! I believe this women tried to hurt me badly at the very least tonight! I will be contacting corperate to file a complaint tomorrow morning As well as the branch manager.

Dec 2023 (New Ownership)…read more When asked for an itemized quote ahead of time, owner acted out at me saying, "I won't work with you" because "You don't trust me." When I protested at his hostility I mentioned that I am a lifelong resident here and this is a nice town. He then walked over to the young female cashier and took this out on her. I felt terrible, watching her try to defend herself. I proceeded based on a previous review. I showed up early Monday morning only to be shoved off to the next day because "a mechanic called in sick." Later, the owner stated this had been because he "had accidentally put [me] on the schedule for the next day." He was persistently dishonest throughout and did not care about me or my car one bit. When further work was needed I was once again pushed off to the next day when I showed up. My time is valuable. But I was very patient and understanding. Owner said he would give me "a small discount" for this. But instead he tried to overcharge me when work was complete. Luckily, I could product the written estimate he had forgotten he had given me. I still paid too much. I had begged him throughout to be thorough with my car's diagnosis, discussing its symptoms repeatedly. But he did not do his due diligence, instead "guessing" and changing out parts. This did not work, and cost me $1000 -- all the money I had budgeted for repairs. He didn't even drive the car afterwards to confirm the repair. No alignment (which the car so badly needed after his work) was When I called later to complain, he dodged me. No corrections were ever made. Don't give him any business. He doesn't deserve it. And do NOT buy ANY excuses he tries to give you for his behavior. He knows what he's like.

Why some people are leaving reviews about oil changes for this gas station is confusing to say the…read moreleast, since they do NOT do any oil changes here. This Shell gas station is located near the Pembroke route 3 exit. The prices aren't too bad but that's because a gas station across the street lowered their prices so this station did the same. Not as cheap but close enough. Pluses are the station is open 24 hours a day and has a Mary Lou's Coffee (not open 24 hours) . They also have some pre-made sandwiches and the usual munchies you expect a station like this to have. They have a pour it yourself soda machine and they have two bathrooms that are constantly stocked and kept clean. The clerks are friendly but the biggest issue here is the EBT Machine barely works. It's 2022 how do you not have a working functional EBT machine? While it's easy enough to get into the gas station getting out can be an adventure as route 139 is loaded with uncourteous drivers that Massachusetts is famous for I believe they're call Massholes. So if you're trying to make a left out of the gas station it can take awhile during heavy traffic times. You also have to deal with boatloads of people who run red lights since LE no longer enforces that law. Summary: This gas station would be a slam dunk must go to if they didn't have issues with the EBT machine which slows the line down considerably. So if you're planning on getting food with your EBT card then this is not the place for you. Sorry to say. I took two stars off for the EBT card problems because it really causes the line to slow down. In the year 2022 and almost into 2023 this kind of petty problem should not exist with modern technology that is available.

Brought our car in for a routine oil change ($75). Next…read moremorning I came out to the car and oil was all over the driveway. We checked the oil dip stick and it was completely empty! We contacted Shell and they did come out to the house to look at it (the only reason I even gave one star) Turns out our oil pan was cracked-COINCIDENTALLY the morning after they changed our oil. We have NEVER had a problem with leaking oil (the car has been running great). They would not take full responsibility and after the unfortunate back and forth, their oh so kind "discount" and an offer for a free future oil change (are we nuts??)-it wound up costing us $400. We will NEVER-I repeat NEVER-return to this station. I am heartbroken the Kantarowski's no longer own it. That was quality service that no longer is at this station.
