Last Sunday, our car starter died at Costco Gas, so we had it towed to Nick's. They called first thing the next day, explained the issue, gave a clear estimate, and had us back on the road the same day. This week, we brought our other car in for an oil change. I called ahead and was told to bring it in whenever was convenient. I dropped it off at 8am and by 11am, they called to let us know the car was ready, with no issues after a full inspection. A week, 6 spark plugs, 6 ignition coils & $2200 later the ck engine light came back on (something they told me could happen) and I had to have the cat. converter replaced anyway... which I had done @ another shop closer to home that specializes in that type work. No doubt the plugs & coils needed replacing but I just thought $2200 for a tuneup was way too expensive...the garage that ultimately replaced the converter confirmed my thinking telling me I overpaid by about $500 for the tuneup. In summary if you're in a pinch like I was and can't shop around, Two Guys Garage can certainly be trusted to do quality and timely work... just be sure to bring your checkbook cause it's gonna cost ya.

The first experience was having the business do an oil change on the car that I did not ask for. When I addressed this initially the owner told me that I did ask for the service. However, he did not persist and told me there would be no charge. My recent experience was going in to ask for the AC drain to be cleared because it was clogged. They cleared the drain and called to tell me that my AC needed to be charged for $468. I was working and not thinking so I agreed. That was the mistake that I made. I had recently returned from a 14 hour trip in the car and the AC was working fine. Nice and cold. Since they charged the AC i no longer have AC in the car. I have addressed this with the owner. The first time he stated that I asked for the service and told him my AC was not working. That is why they did the AC charge. This was not true. I left the car to be worked on and the owner stated that they overcharged the AC and the condenser kept starting and stopping because of this. He removed freone and it calmed down. This week the condenser is not firing at all. I returned to the owner and told him of the problem. He said it would take 2 days to work on the car and figure it out. I asked for a refund and told him I did not want to do business with him anymore. He informed me that he could not process a refund. I told him I will be sure to post a review. He said he did not care because the neighborhood trusts him. This business is not honest. You will pay for service that is not needed and have new problems with your car.

I bought an engine computer reader and what do you know? No cylinder misfires, the car is completely fine. So glad I didn't pay $1200 for their service. They failed us and told us that our 2007 Honda civic steering rack needed replacement and that it was unsafe to drive. That cost almost $2000 to replace. A few months later, we noticed a whining sound that turned out to be (after spending 200 getting it diagnosed at a different mechanic) a power steering fluid leak due to the defective steering rack that they put in. They did then replace the defective steering rack, but 5 days later the power steering pump gave out. I initially spoke to a mechanic there who agreed that the pump issue was due to the earlier leak which was caused by their defective part, and offered to cover labor if I bought a $600 new pump from them. When I asked if I could buy my own pump and they cover labor to install, they immediately became extremely rude and condescending, claiming that they would never "put that junk in a car." Which is ironic given that they put a defective steering rack in, which started this whole mess. The absolute worst experience I have ever had at any mechanic. the quality of items/work, the rudeness, and the standards. When my wife went to pick up our car after I dropped it off, they didn't even look before giving her the keys - literally anyone could have come in and asked for the Honda Civic keys and they would have given it to them. I strongly regret going to them for an inspection and will never make the same mistake again
