Nice local coffee shop but their cappuccino didn't taste like it had any coffee in it, even with an extra shot.

Ocean City Coffee has definitely become a staple in Media. I love their chai lattes, breakfast sandwiches, and the atmosphere. The only reason I give them 3 stars is because of the inconsistency! Some days you get the best bacon egg and cheese you've ever had in your life, some days it is so flavorless and messy with raw bacon. Same with the drinks, really depends on who is making it, I guess. If you're a first time customer I recommend getting something super simple in case you don't like it. I will say, their smoothies are tasty and amazing and I would take theirs over Jaco's any day. Still unsure of their outdoor deck seating. You are getting a view of a parking garage and garbage cans, but it's the effort that counts. If you squint your eyes, you can pretend you're at the beach. Lol. read more

This is a lovely new spot in the vibrant Media shopping district, and it's a great addition to an already special area. While I have yet to enjoy a breakfast sandwich yet, I've popped in for coffee a few times at a few different times of day and have always left impressed. The coffee is delish - coconut & buttered rum flavored beans were a particular fave. I've gotten bags of the coffee beans to go, including special ordered which was great. The team is always pleasant and helpful and the prices are good. Great spot - can't wait to return! read more

I LOVED this coffee shop! The shop had only a couple of places to sit but is a nice environment. Ocean City has A TON of different coffee flavors that are special to this specific brand. The coffee shop is located close to different shops and boutiques which are nice to visit. I would visit this coffee shop as much as I could! read more

The food was good, come here most of the time for a quick sip of coffee with my husband and daughter. The service is awesome, even though sometimes they run out of ingredients. They did explain that they ran out of blueberry cream cheese and suggested others. The store also looks great, they hand write some special menu for customers. read more

This was our first time going. The coffee shop is nicely designed and decorated inside, with seating for about 10-12 people. Coffee is very reasonably priced. We got a large and medium for $4 and change. I got the Black and Tan Dark Roast, and my wife got the Pirate's Blend Medium Roast. Flavor profiles were great for both of them! The employees were very sociable and took the time to explain the menu. If you are hungry there are bakery items as well. Excellent experience all around. A $5.00 minimum is a bit questionable for a business that specializes in selling coffee; ie a fairly consistent ~$1.50 to $3.50 transaction experience. Their coffee is good for those who enjoy a cup of Joe, however the inconvenience of ensuring I have cash on hand reduces my experience thus, I go to one of my many other Coffee Shop options in Media. read more

I know Ocean City Coffee has quite a following, so I've been wanting to try it. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, so I got the pumpkin spiced chai. It was good, but pretty sweet. I'd probably tell them next time to include less sweetener. Also, I wish it was served a bit warmer. We also got an iced Irish Cream coffee which had great flavor. Didn't want to like this place. Really didn't. I lived in Ocean City year round as a kid and remembered going to thier place on Asbury in the winter. Never really impressed me, just seemed like a plain old cafe.. But I still have some friends on the island so I usually do go to the Ocean City Coffee Co. when I am in town. Then a few years back they open one in Media. I live in Delaware County now so it was only a matter of time before I went in. I wasn't expecting much. Well I was dead, dead wrong. Service is better. Lattes are more creative? Hmmm. What's going on here? Am I going crazy or is the Media location better? So I had to ask others who have been to both the flagship location(s) down the shore and the Media location and they agreed.. there's something better about the Media one. I don't know if it's better managed or better employees but it is. Ok so before I end my review and you're accusing me of baseless accusations here's a point in case: OC location on Asbury two weeks ago - "Hey could I get the honey bunches of oats latte?" No sorry we don't have that. "Ok then could I get an oatmilk latte" Sorry don't have that either. "Alright give me a second while I game plan what I want." Ok next customer please. (Woman behind me) "Hey could I get a decaf cold brew?" Sorry we ran out. "But it's 9am" Yeah sorry it goes fast"... After all this talking I had been there 10 minutes, 3 people were suddenly in front of me in line with the cashier forgetting about me completely.. I just left. Haha went to Dunkin. You see my point? This isn't the first time something similar to this happened over the years and this type of thing just doesn't happen in Media. Weird right? Anyway big fan of that location. I told one of the employees in Media and she agreed. Stating she had worked at both and the Ocean City locations just aren't as attentive. read more

I'm sorry that I'm moving away from the area but I wanted to write a review of Ocean City Coffee before I left. First of all, I didn't think I would like this place because from the outside it seemed too similar to Starbucks. I could just go to Starbucks. And there's the other coffee shop that has the right look and good products, but bad service. But honestly, this place has great products and a great service staff; loyalty rewards is a bonus. They don't rely on it in place of straight up, tried and true, products and service. I'll always visit when I'm in town and hope that others will give it a shot too. I almost didn't and almost missed out on a great coffee house. read more

Delicious! Consistent flavors every time, a nice atmosphere, everything tastes fresh and the staff is really friendly.

While it may be a chain, I really like their place. I am so amazed by the amount of coffee they offer on the wall. One I am particularly excited to try some time is their banana infused coffee, so interesting. I am going to get it next time I'm in to try it. Like and clean too. read more

Unfortunately the first time I used my card their someone tried to steal my information and withdrawal 400 dollars from an Ipad (which they use to ring up cards) from a Bank of America in Philadelphia. The little white thing they attach to the Ipad is not secure at all. I also signed up for the rewards program (2x) and I guess they just ignored it. read more
