We made last minute plans for our vacation and spent 8 days here. First off, it's a much older property and check in was a bit of a mess. Took much back and forth their staff to get desirable rooms as we had young kids with us. Food - it's just okay, buffet is very average with less options. Italian, Mexican and other places were all underwhelming. The lunch spot next to pool and burger place were good. Staff tried very hard to have to not dine at ala carte restaurant and push you towards Buffett, which is a such a letdown given this is all inclusive. Nightly entertainment was good but left lot to be desired. Beach was unusable with so much of seaweed. This is a okay spot but not worth the $$$ that they charge. read more

The Ocean Coral & Turquesa (Turquoise) resort is none of those three things. Their motto, "#Feel the Ocean" is emblazened on the Cancun Mexico resort and staff pins. Unfortunately, it was literally impossible to "feel the ocean." The thickest seaweed I've ever seen prevented anyone from entering / feeling the ocean. The stench from the 15-foot thick layer of rotting seaweed and microorganisms was nauseating throughout the property. They literally make you sign a seaweed waiver upon check-in. The pools are gorgeous and the liquor flows freely, but you can get that anywhere. The buffet food was terrible - dry meats (frozen), cold eggs / pancakes / waffles. Some of the restaurants, like Blue Moon (French food), were better, but reservations are given to "Privilege"guests and "Premium Travel Club" members before others, making it almost impossible to get a reservation. We were told by a butler that the resort is unable / unwilling to incur the expense of cleaning their beach, or even a portion of it. We traveled a few miles to neighboring towns and could finally enjoy the Caribbean, which is why we selected this resort in the first place. At an absolute minimum, Ocean Coral & Turquesa should alert potential customers on their website prior to purchase. We would have never book a week-long stay under these conditions. Another option would have been to provide shuttle service a few times per day to neighboring towns (3-5 miles) with enjoyable clean beaches. They do neither. STAY AWAY! read more

What!? How does this All-inclusive have a LOW RATING!? Our experience here during our week long stay was awesome! Our room was clean, spacious, and ocean front with no problem at all. The only heads up I have is upon arrival, people will try to sucker you in attending BS presentations and try to get you deals on activities and shows etc. around the Riviera Maya area. Steer clear of all that, then you'll be fine. Now the cool part of this All-inclusive is that they have about 9 restaurants to choose from(some need advance reservations and have a dress code)We've tried the Churrasqueria, 50's Diner, Italian (avoid), Coffee Shop, Ice Cream Shop, pool burger spot, and the All-inclusive main dining room for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You'll never go hungry or thirsty, and you're only a taxi ride away from the Puerto Morelos city center, and nearby Cancun and Playa Del Carmen. Local Animals can be seen here too. They have a family of Raccoons and Aligators, Agoutis, and even a Coatimundi. 4 different pools, a bowling alley, activities and shows on property will keep you busy, and dips in the ocean and sunrises here are the best! read more

Are butler Luis was so attentive to us, making sure that we where well taking care ove. Fabien, Elizabeth and the rest of the blue team entertainement staff were Awsome. Ocean Coral & Turquesa is a beautiful, mid-size hotel with a lot of amenities and a lot of food selections from around the world that they cater to. I am a Privilege member so I had the Butler service. Our butler, Andrea aka Andy, was EVERYTHING and more. She was soooooooo accommodating booking our dinner highly and she was so kind. Like super duper kind. She knew how to handle everything. Our room had 2 bedrooms, very modern and spacious. Cute bathroom design. Very clean. Robes and slippers were available. But our jacuzzi, on the bathroom, the jacuzzi bubble did not work, the whole time. They tried to fix it but it did not work. The whole staff is pretty nice for the most part. The 90 minutes massage and facial I received was AMAZING! Then was able to stay an hour after for their spa, hydro room which was nice with a pool, sauna, jacuzzi - just a zen time. The Hibachi restaurant, Sensai, was my fav. The chefs put on a good show and the food is good. The Mexican restaurant, Hacienda, was good. The nachos were a little dated but the spice level in my fish was really Good. The Tortilla soup was okay. Blue moon restaurant was okay. Villa Marina took entirely too long to receive our food and the server left for the day without delivering. Casa Del Mar is the main dining room and it has great options. Ocean Burger is by the pool and good for a quick bite. Mike's Coffee is a cute study hall coffee shop. Ice cream shop has about 5 different flavors and 4 different toppings. Last minute Cancun trip booked , the people wanted budget but all inclusive. On arrival open air reception area with plenty of seating and an hydration station as well as bar . Check in was a brezze no issues , wrist band placed on arm , and states if lost $100 usd . Once checked in your given to a time share representative that will give you the run down of the property and presentation for a time share . Once you break free from the unnecessary timeshare , you give the bell hop your ticket and he escorts to your room . At the time of check in they are currently renovating removing old mattresses, which are in the halls. On arrival to room it was bright and roomy. The restroom was slightly renovated, but it was clean . The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The hamburger hut by the pool was alright , also no take away , you have to sit in restaurant. The Breakfast buffet was nice with a variety of things and even had a kid size buffet station. The dinner buffet was alright plenty of salads breads and very few meat opitions. Didn't partake in any restaurants , because most of our days were long and you couldn't make reservations until the day of . The resort was about a 25 minutes ride to/from airport. Cancun was about 20 minutes without traffic. Overall stay was fine no major issues , will recommend. read more

So upset at this ocean coral staff right now. This place has poor hotel staff communication. My nephew fell at the resort yesterday at the pool area around broken tiles and cut his foot really bad. He had to go to the er to get stitches. Upon coming back from the hospital the manager met with us to check in on things. We told that we have tickets to go to Xcaret the following day but it will be painful for my nephew to walk. The manager promised us that we can borrow a wheelchair for the day so my nephew can still enjoy the park. When we asked for the wheelchair this morning. No one knew about the wheelchair request and the staff refused to even let me pay/rent one. It is very disappointing when things were discussed and there is no follow through. There were 3 women who went to this resort on a celebratory trip in January 2026. One lady was turning 65, and another was turning 70. We had a great experience here. The food was great and the staff were very friendly. We cannot provide enough praise for Antonio, our waiter at the pool/beach. He was fabulous and very attentive. Always remembered what our drink choices were (we had cups with our names on them), and he was a lot of fun to engage with. All in all, a great time was had. read more

I plan to update this as my week progresses. I am currently on Day 2. Travel dates are 1/4/26 - 1/11/26 Day 1 - High pressure sales to get you to join the Premier Club. Could not check into room until 3 pm pm. Although it was ready. Without being a Premier club member it is almost impossible to get dinner reservations on their app. Which isn't really an app, its just a website link. No hot water for a shower in our room. Day 2- Gave in and went for "Sales pitch" presentation. Was told by sales guy (Sedric) it would only be 1 hour long, and we would be able to eat breakfast during half of the sales pitch. Truth is, they want you for 1 hour AFTER you eat breakfast. We met up at 8:30 AM and skipped breakfast to expedite the situation, we still had to tell them at 9:55 that we had to GO!!! Still no hot water. The good: staff at the bars are very friendly. read more

We didn't have the issues with cockroaches other guests have mentioned. There are racoons everywhere at night, including coming inside. The restaurant reservation process is a disgrace. They open reservations at 10AM and still all but impossible to get. One night we could only get 3 spots for Italian restaurant. We show up with 4 and spent 15 minutes convincing them to seat us. The restaurant was maybe 1/3 full and there weren't even any table set for 3. Pay all the money for a vacation and can't even eat anywhere other than the buffet. And only place in Mexico I've ever stayed where they inform you at check in of the "special environment fee" per guest per night that is not included when you book. Do yourself a favor and listen to the reviews and don't stay here. The price is low for a reason. read more

He made all my dinner reservations and checked several times a day to see if I needed anything. The specialty restaurants have delicious food and if you're privileged the top shelf cocktails are wonderful. Be sure to say hello to sexy Frankie at the hotel lobby bar. We are Premier members at Palace Resorts and have been going to those sicne 1999 but wanted to try something new as we had never been to Puerto Morales and chose the Ocean Coral Turquesa. We paid for a Deluxe Junior Ocean View room. Instead of being booked into one of the main buildings we were "upgraded" to El Beso, the adults only section. This area is far away from the main resort with no nightime amenities. This depsite the fact that I walk with a cane. Our room was very far from the ocean and had a solid concrete balcony, which meant the only distant view of the ocean was if you stood up on the patio, which was occupied by a bat and a beehive. We took pictures of both. After one night we requested a change to the main resort area and after not having a room all day it turned out to be a garden level, not an ocean view. Here were the conditions of this room: 1. The patio door required massive effort to open and had only one chair. 2. The Roshney toilet could not flush paper so we had to use a covered trash bin. 3. My wife woke up the first night with a cockroach in the bed and when I got up in the night baby cockroachs were in several areas in the bathroom. 4. The refrigerator overheated meaning the two Superior Beers you receive each day were warm. The advertisement of stocked liquor in the room is blatanty false. And Superior is a CHEAP beer. 5. The air conditioner did not work and had to be repaired which meant another day out of the room. 6. The floor of the shower is so slick I could not use it and had to request a handicapped chair. They brought a plastic stool with a bent leg and when I tried to use it it collapsed and I nearly fell. 7. Despite being all inclusive you must pay $30.00 for a bottle of wine to be sent to the room and there is no room service menu which made ordering a guessing game. 8. The rod on the patio curtains was bent which meant we had to use clips to hold it together since there was a walkway right outside our patio and we had no privacy. 9. The handicapped restrooms DO NOT HAVE RAisED TOILETS, have slick floors and limited handrails. Not one I tried would qualify for handicapped in the states. This is listed as a 5 star resort. IT IS NOT! For dinners we were told the Mexican restaurant Grisoles(Sunflower) did not need reservations. Despite being nearly empty the captain told guests arriving at 7 without a reservation that he had a waiting list (non-existent) and they couldn't come back until 9. Fortunatley we had a reservation, but only 10 tables were occupied and over 10 more stayed empty. We went directly to the Guest services desk to make our next reservation for the Italian restaurant. Estrella promised to confirm a 7:00 pm reservation. When we arrived they had no record of our doing so. Given all our concerns on an 8 day vacation I must confrim that their staff are both friendly and appear well trained. I would not recommend this resort to anyone with a handicap or to anyone elderly. Granted we went in the off season, but many facilites would be closed without notice meaning we would have to adjust plans. If you read other reviews you will find the same comments on their inconsistency. Plus, like other Yucatan resorts it operates on a pyramid system where only those who purchase a membership get privleged areas, robes in the room, etc. Basically, I would say you have abundant choices in the Mayan Riveria and I would not maek this one of mine ever again. read more

We were there during hurricane beryl. The building is solid- you could barely even hear the wind! We got upgraded to El Beso adults only side for free at check in. The pool there was serene. 8 am to 8 pm. People were drinking responsibly. Decent crowd. They have an airport shuttle included and they were very punctual. Downsides- not really walkable to any restaurants or downtown etc. The food is very average and bland. Overall though, good value for money. read more

Location: it's about 20-25 minutes from the airport (south), you will need to book a shuttle to go to the hotel and you will be just stay in the resort or take taxi/uber to downtown since there's no other stores within walking distance. Food / beverage selection: for this all inclusive resort prices range, Ocean coral & Turquesa has great food selections, it has 8/9 restaurants for different types of food, some of them even serve overnight. I don't really drink, however, they do have bars all over the resort, you can drink anywhere you want! Facilities: the resort is huge with 20+ buildings, a lot of pools. The resort is a little old and needs some maintenance, for example the lobby ceiling is leaking during my visit, however, my room was nice and huge. Beach: the beach right next to the resort full of seaweeds and it's totally not swim able but people from the resort said that just seasonal (my visit is 6/2024). Besides the beach, there're many pools for swimming. Service: friendly staffs here, however, 30-40% of them don't speak English. WiFi: the resort is huge and I have no issues to use the WiFi anywhere even the beach. Swimming pools: pool hours is 8am to 8pm, close kinda early. read more

10/10 this place was immaculate. The maids kept the rooms and breezeways clean. Our fridge was always fully restocked at the end of each day. Our servers and butlers were absolutely top-tier. We enjoyed every moment with them shout out to Brandon our Butler! Our bartenders Gustavo, Alejandro, Alejandro, and Eduardo at the entertainment pool kept our glasses full with a smile. Our entertainers at the privileged and entertainment, pool were also amazing, fernanda, rocelyn, elizabeth, yael, jonathan, fabian, justin and grabriel. They made the trip more than i could have wished for with pool aerobics, dancing, volleyball, bingo and so much more! there energy was always the absolute best!! our servers in the privilege dining were always a delight to see specially Eduardo, Enrique, and Angel! I've stayed at many resorts in Mexico, and I'm shocked this is 5 stars--it's more like a 3-star experience. The property was overrun with raccoons, stray cats, sand mites, and mosquitoes, suggesting poor cleanliness and pest control. All five of us came home covered in bites. The front desk staff were dishonest, claiming we couldn't get a refund for a member of our party (who couldn't make it due to the ice storms in ATL) because we booked through a third party--only to later admit we booked directly on their website at the end of our stay and now they will not respond to our emails. Reservable restaurants were closed on a Saturday, and we could only get a 9 PM reservation. When we arrived, the restaurant was completely empty. We were also charged extra for room service before its stated closing time and forced to pay in cash and wouldn't let us charge to the room which made no sense. The food was awful--I didn't finish a single meal. The only positive was the bartenders and restaurant staff, but their efforts couldn't salvage this disaster. This resort is nowhere near 5-star quality, and I would not recommend it. read more

What a nightmare!!! Shame on Expedia / hotels.com for claiming it's an 8 star hotel--this is a roach infested, raccoon infested motel. They also extorted $1000 from me. when I arrived at 10pm with my children they demanded an additional $1000 -- refusing to give me a room key until I paid them the extra money. Imagine being in a foreign country at night with your children and no where else to go--it's what nightmares are made of!!! The day after Christmas nonetheless!!! I read the other reviews on YELP that Expedia and Hotels.com hid--talking about items being stolen -- jewelry and money, from the safe! I personally saw roaches in my room--do not waste your money! Apparently they target women and children because I read another woman's nightmare of the hotel calling the police on her! After asking for late checkout the staff kept entering our room! And that's just it, all the staff has a key and there's no lock to keep them out. We had four people ENTER our room in two hours claiming to come to restock the fridge or clean the room--this was the day we were checking out...it made no sense why these people kept entering our room. Yes they would knock and we yelled NO THANK YOU and they just kept walking in, repeatedly. Which I've never experienced at a hotel. Also other reviews found staff in their rooms when the "do not disturb" sign was posted. Please do yourself a favor and read the reviews--you cannot trust Expedia or hotels.com--do a search for words like "stolen" and "theft" or "police" -- this is NOT an 8 star establishment as Expedia claims. Moreover, Expedia and hotels.com did nothing to help me. Even though I booked through them, they said because I was paying on arrival at the hotel, they couldn't do anything. Ocean Coral & Turquesa by H10 - A Stunning Property Let Down by Poor Service, Bad Food, and a Beach You Can't Use We recently vacationed at Ocean Coral & Turquesa by H10, and while the property itself is beautiful, the overall experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing--especially for a resort marketed as four or five stars. Let's start with the positives. A few staff members stood out for their exceptional service. Daisy at Route 66 was one of the best servers we encountered--friendly, fast, and genuinely caring. Our butler, Oscar, made every effort to accommodate us and make the stay more comfortable. And the lifeguard at Jelly's Playhouse showed an incredible understanding of how to engage with families and kids. They were the bright spots in an otherwise underwhelming stay. Unfortunately, that's where the good news ends. The food was terrible. The resort desperately needs a chef with international experience--someone who understands flavor, presentation, and how to craft menus that reflect a resort serving people from around the world. What we got instead was bland, forgettable, and at times downright bad. Worse, the dining experience was completely inflexible. We traveled as a large group and every time we went to a restaurant, we were split up--even when the place was empty. There seemed to be no effort to accommodate us or make us feel welcome. The restaurants operated with a staff-first mindset, and it showed. Guests were treated like afterthoughts. At the pool, guests would claim chairs with towels at sunrise and not return for hours, while others--actually wanting to use the chairs--were left to stand or circle endlessly. Staff did nothing to manage the chaos, which felt lazy and inconsiderate. But the worst part of the entire stay was the beach. It was absolutely covered in sargassum seaweed--huge, rotting piles that gave off a foul, gag-inducing smell. It made sitting outside, walking along the shore, or even enjoying a beach view nearly impossible. There was no warning, no active cleanup, and no effort to make the beach remotely usable. For a beach resort, this is a dealbreaker. This place has potential--but right now, it's all wasted. Until the resort hires a competent chef, trains staff to focus on guest experience, and cleans up the beach, I can't recommend Ocean Coral & Turquesa to anyone. Especially not families or groups. Avoid this place at all costs, especially El Beso. This is, at best, a 3-star resort. Cats, raccoons, and mosquitoes are everywhere. We all had more than 10 mosquito bites each. One of our friends had their flight from Georgia canceled by Delta, and the resort refused to assist in any way. We ended up paying for her stay even though she couldn't make it, simply because the hotel wouldn't help. To make matters worse, when I reached out to them, they gaslit me, claiming I booked through a third-party like Expedia. I booked directly with them, and I have the C303 reservation number to prove it. I've called three times and emailed customer service twice, but no one has responded. It seems like they are trying to charge me for an 8th person who wasn't even there. Additionally, their room service is advertised as available from 11 AM to 11 PM. We called at 10:30 PM, and they charged us $20 USD in cash for a quesadilla! They demanded the cash upfront before handing over the food. It's clear they don't care about their guests. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere--try Barcelo or any other hotel. I'm genuinely confused by the positive reviews here, as our experience has been a nightmare. This resort sits more at a 3.5 rating for me. Overall, this is really great for the price point, which is why I lean towards a 4 star rating. To be fully transparent upfront we spent $171.40 per night for our hotel room. This included the junior suite deluxe for 2 people as well as all of our drinks and meals during our stay. This is our first time my boyfriend and I stayed at an all inclusive resort, but spending ~$86/person a day seems like an insanely great deal. We opted for the cheapest option which included a free round trip shuttle to and from the airport. We had the blue wristband. I believe for $65 extra per person per night you can upgrade to the privilege wristband. I will say it seems like privilege wristband guest get priority treatment. It was a nightmare trying to get a seat at the pool. At all times of the time it always seems like all the chairs were full. Another guest who stayed and had the privilege wristband said that they workers would try to hold the chairs for privilege guests in the early morning, which makes sense. We were never able to sit at the main pool because of this. I feel like they don't have enough chairs for the amount of guests there. The room was much larger than expect and we also were welcomed with a bottle of red wine upon arrival. The mini fridge is restocked daily and the maid service does an exceptional job. The best part of this resort is how nice the workers are here. Many of the visitors take notice of this. Tipping is not necessary but I would highly recommend it - a couple of dollars go a long way! We spent around $10-$15/day tipping for two people. The food was average quality. Some dishes were pretty good, but there were very few that hit the mark. For this price point and if you are looking for a more budget vacation - this place is it! It probably explains why so many guests are repeat visitors. I personally would not return not because this place is terrible, but realize all inclusive is probably not for me. I prefer quality over quantity. Drain Flies, Bed Bugs and Nasty House Keeping Services Arrived on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Was assigned room (10106). Went into the bathroom, turned on the shower and noticed there was a bunch of flying bugs in the shower. Took a picture, checked Google, and found out they were Drain flies. Took more pictures, grabbed my stuff, and went to the front desk to get a room change. Spoke to 7 people; 4 behind the desk in uniform and 3 standing by the desk dressed in professional attire. Expressed my issue and request for a new room and showed the pictures. I was told that the Drain Flies were part of "Wildlife" and that they could not change my room but would send housekeeping to re-clean the room and that I would have to wait until tomorrow "to possibly" get a new room. Went back to room, an hour later and no housekeeping. I went to sit on the bed, grabbed the pillows to stack up against the headboard and noticed bedbugs on the pillows. I took pictures, grabbed my items, and went back to the front desk. I informed them and showed them the pictures of the bedbugs. There was no need to check under the sheets or the mattress as they were on the pillows. One of the employees at the front desk mentioned that these "were definitely not wildlife". I was made to wait 10 minutes as they went into an area away from the front desk to discuss if I would be allowed to get a new room. I asked to speak to a supervisor, manager or anybody of authority and was refused. Not one time during my stay did a supervisor, manager or anybody of authority reach out to me. Finally received a new room (17316). Took me 45 minutes to check the bed and bathroom before I could even try to sleep. Woke up the next morning at 6am, went to take a shower, very light water pressure and there was only lukewarm water. I had to water on full hot and after 10-minutes, still no hot water and the water pressure never improved. On Wednesday, March 20, 2024, ordered room service and spilled my tray with French fries and ketchup on the bed. This was a very noticeable stain, so I took the sheets off the bed and placed on the floor by the dresser with the stain side showing. Came back at dinner time and the room was cleaned (supposedly). On the morning of Thursday, March 21, 2024, while getting out of bed, I tossed the sheets back and noticed that the portion of the sheet appeared dirty up by the headboard. I couldn't figure out why as I didn't use that side and concerned for bed bugs, I pulled the sheet back and saw the ketchup stain on the sheet. Instead of replacing the sheet that I placed on the floor, they flipped it upside down and remade the bed. If I would have gotten in the bed on that side, then I would have noticed it immediately. I have been to Cancun four times, and this is by far the worst experience. read more

Do not book with the spa as it is virtually impossible to cancel after booking. Very rude and impossible to deal with once they have your signature and money. Paid 260$ for nothing as I was led to believe I successfully cancelled my reservation two days in advance of appointment. This was not explained to me when I signed the agreement after being pressured to do so. Customer Service was unapologetic and basically waived the agreement in my face and said we have your signature. The booking desk for excursions was helpful and we did not feel pressured purchase. The resort is a bit run down and we walked by racoon feces on the steps for several days until the rain washed it away. The ocean front is unimpressive with little to no room and piles of seaweed line the beach. We will never be back. The resort is also overrun by racoons, although they are used to people, it is something you should know before you go. read more

Do not stay in this hotel. I have never been treated this poorly in my life. We were driving from Cancun to Tulum and wanted to grab a bite. We stopped by this hotel which lists its restaurants on Google Maps as actual restaurants, and not *just* part of the resort. They let our car in, they let us into the hotel, they even let us into the restaurant. The woman at the restaurant asked our room number. We said "we aren't staying here, we just came to eat" and she said ok and let us in. We ate and asked for the bill. Then hell broke loose! They made us wait for hours and the "situation" got escalated 5 times. In the end, the "director" asked us to pay $65 USD PER PERSON for our really mediocre lunch because we "used their services" and therefore we need to get a day pass. We argued, reasoned, talked... nothing worked. In the end, they called the cops on us. Yes, the cops, as if we were a bunch of criminals trying to eat for free. We had already offered to pay a reasonable amount for lunch! $20 USD each? $30? Not $65!!! Of course, the police didn't speak English and the hotel personnel translated that if would be even more expensive to go to the police, let alone spend a night or two. Seriously, first day in Mexico, and this happens. What is wrong with you, Ocean Coral & Turquesa? Is this how you treat tourists? People? Human beings? I cannot believe this was our experience. In the end we had to agree to pay $55 USD each to not go to jail! Robbery, terrible customer service, humiliation. Do not stay in this hotel and their affiliates. read more

We have been coming for 3 years now. I'm very happy with the resort. Jose Luis Cen - Beach Concierge @ Privilege Pool amazing. Will have chairs ready for you every morning. Ricardo Pool Drink Server @ Privilege Pool incredible. Will have a drink ready for you whenever you need it. Angel Waiter @ Privilege is funny and provides the best service. Always s treat to have him. Alfredo @ SPA is so friendly and accommodating. So many others that are outstanding! A few things... * bring a cup and they will fill out with anything you want. * bring more sun screen than you could ever need... cost a fortune in gift shop. * do not pay cash at gift shop or you get pesos as change. * bring a loofah as it seems hard to get wash cloths. * bring water shots for the ocean as there is some rocks/coral. So, we are here for my 50th birthday celebration and we were promised this AMAZING room and I paid extra for ocean view. If you count leaning over your balcony to see the tip of the ocean...ocean view then I have one. When I asked Clarissa who brought me to my room what happened to ocean view, she said this is senorita". I laughed and let her know, it is not. The food is less than fair and this whole experience has not been birthday worthy other than having all my friends in the same place celebrating me. The restaurants are hit or miss and never seem to be open. They are suffering from staff shortage but they should let people know. Check in was hard because our check in person was assisting 9 other people and problem solving. We get different answers to questions. Maybe this experience has been better in the past, but not now. Unless you drink alot, don't come here. Btw: Last night, I went to my friends room who signed on to the trip at the last minute and yes, you guessed it, she has a master suite! Experienced traveler and this is by far the worst customer service I've ever encountered. Angel was very understanding and very pleasant to deal with but most of the front desk staff are rude and basically ask you why you are bothering them. We had an issue with payment because the front desk never charged our card upon arrival and day two we returned from dinner to find out they locked us out our room.. We went to the front desk to speak to someone and the supervisor made it seem like it was our fault that we didn't pay and was extremely rude. We obviously had our wallets in the room and couldn't pay at that time. The next day we went to pay the bill and the WiFi was down so they couldn't run the card. The day after that we had to settle some business with guest services and the person there, Adolfo was rude and told us we had an outstanding bill without knowing the entire story... Just unacceptable behavior. When I asked for his name, he ripped off his name tag and shoved it in my face. Honestly, there are so many wonderful resorts in Riviera and Cancun, PLEASE, spend your hard earned money elsewhere and with a hotel that values customer service. I've never felt so uninvited as I did here. You get bombarded by a slimy sales guy when you check in as well. On top of that, the rooms are clean but very outdated. Rusty old shower heads, random phone outlets in the toilet area. Old furniture. Last note -- there are so many good reviews and that's why we chose this hotel but please listen to the negative reviews as they are the honest ones. This was the worst resort I've ever stayed at, despite visiting many resorts in Mexico over the years. Here's why: -Cats and raccoons were everywhere. The worst were the mosquitoes. They were even in our rooms. We each returned home with 20+ mosquito bites. -Every member of our group of six had rude encounters with staff, including at the towel stand, smoothie stand, and buffet. -The buffet closed from 11 AM to 12:30 PM daily for a food shift, leaving one option during peak lunch hours at a different restaurant--a first in my experience. And that restaurant had no air conditioning, so it was extremely hot and uncomfortable while eating lunch. -Restaurant reservations had to be made through an app that only allowed groups of four, and the earliest slots were 9 PM. When we arrived, the restaurants were nearly empty, with plenty of open seating. -When ordering room service close to closing time, a staff member knocked on our door claiming it was closed but offered to take our order for $20 per person in cash--completely absurd and shady. I strongly advise against staying at this resort. It was a thoroughly disappointing experience. read more

In summary: ehh. Food: Quality is generally low. The menus seem like a random assortment of things that don't go together, especially at the buffet. A lot of large quantity cooking and repeat items. And essentially no Mexican food except for the one Mexican restaurant that isn't open every day, and is ONLY open for dinner?? Rooms: Fine but not spectacular. Floors were dirty and shotty workmanship when painting/building stuff Entertainment: Fine but not something I found interesting enough to participate in most days All in all it's an OK all inclusive resort. I enjoyed a 2 night stay for a wedding at Ocean Coral & Turquesa, and I highly recommend it. For the wedding guest two nights for a double room was approximately $500. The resort is all inclusive including alcohol, and we also had transportation to and from the airport. The value for multiple restaurants, a gym, pools, and a pool party every night was hard to beat. A couple considerations for the trip. Checkin was a bit much, they're very strict at 3p checkin and some folks still didn't have their rooms ready. Also "ocean view" is a debatable term. You can pay extra for it, and still not have a view. The food does the job but it's more cruise like than 5 star dining. There are fancier spots you can pay for or upgrade to their privilege status, but it's not worth it if you want to party or the whole group doesn't do it. The inclusive alcohol is really mid shelf, not bad, but you'll want to watch them make your drinks so it's not all sugary sweet stuff(unless you like that!). I found housekeeping staff very lovely and our room was in good shape. I would definitely return for a nice relaxing fun visit! read more

Beautiful hotel ! the Manager of the restaurant of the Brazilian, Mr. Naranjo, was an excellent host. He received us with a welcome smile. We really enjoyed his restaurant, and the food was delicious, and the place was sparkle clean. The waiters and waitress gives us a grate service. Awesome place to eat . I love it!! ocean coral turquesa is an older resort but the room we had on our 10 day stay was spacious the beds were comfortable & the cleaning staff was great we received chocolate covered strawberries one day We did have an issue getting into the restaurants as you have to make a reservation daily & there were 7 of us but we did get it figured out The buffet staff were great we had Antonio most days & he went over & above for us his helpers were also great Irving & Miguel we made a point to sit in his section when we could the breakfast & lunch buffet was always good The restaurants were also good as there are 9 of them we ate in most of them The daytime staff are amazing always full of energy keeping everyone entertained with many different activities we had a great time with them daily The bar staff was also very good There are numerous cats & even raccoons wandering around the resort (no bother to anyone) read more

As other reviewers have noted, this place needs some work. The entire facility seems old and run down. Our room was plenty large and clean enough, but whatever they clean with leaves a lasting horrible smell. The bed was plenty firm and comfy. Our room was cleaned and restocked daily so no concerns there. We frequently didn't have hot water during our shower times. I honestly had a lot of concern about the electrical work; lights would randomly turn on and off and blink in our room...maybe an electrical short? There are two pool areas that we had access to - one seemed to have more kids and the second more adults. We only hung out at the one with the adults (and the swim up bar). The restaurants were underwhelming at best. The Italian restaurant was horrible- the service was awful and the food was, well, just kinda gross. The hotel lobby staff all seem to be very friendly and polite....same with the bar staff. The restaurant staff, though, seemed very rude and impolite. It's definitely not my favorite all-inclusive. This five-star all-inclusive resort where room rates include meals and beverages at onsite restaurants and bars. It won the Condé Nast Traveler award for the best international resort in 2013. This resort has 586 Junior Suites and Suites with free Wi-Fi at the hotel. If one doesn't want to take a dip in the ocean, there are 4 outdoor swimming pools and a children pool. My experience at this all inclusive resort was a bit of a miss for me. We loved our stay at Ocean Maya Royale last year, which is owned by the same company as this resort. This year we found a pretty good deal for this resort and thought why not? It's still owned by H10, so it should be equally as great, right? Sadly, the food, service, and experience didn't live up to our expectations. Food here was not very impressive. The late night restaurant was a simple American style buffet. Late night snacks needed some work for sure. In addition, the breakfast buffet was only so-so. Food wasn't very hot; it was lukewarm at best. Furthermore, the food at the poolside grill wasn't very memorable. During our entire 4 day stay, we couldn't find a single place that served tacos (we were a bit disappointed). On a positive note, Bluemoon was the best place we dined at. Food was delicious and the cheese bread they serve at the beginning of your meal will blow your mind. Service wasn't as good as we thought it would be. They said they would move our two separate beds together but never did. We also didn't have any bath towels upon check-in and had to call the front desk for some. No one ever came to bring us towels, but we were lucky enough to spot one of the cleaning workers on our floor and grabbed some from her. On the other hand, we also had some really good servers and bartenders help us. I would say I had conflicting feelings about the service and staff here. As for the amenities like the pool, it was very difficult finding a chair. People would use their towels to reserve chairs early in the day, leaving us with nothing. Another thing to note is that this isn't an adults only resort, so be prepared to see kids running around. One cool thing is that they did have a bowling alley here. Be sure to bring socks or they won't let you bowl. You can alway buys socks from the bowling alley for a couple of bucks if you forget. With so many promising resorts in Mexico, it's hard for me to justify why I should come back here. I would much rather go to back to an all inclusive adults only resort next time. read more
