The staff checking me in was so sweet upgraded me to king instead of 2 queen beds for no extra charge. Checking in was simple we drove around to where we went into different buildings. Nice seating outdoor area to chill out in! We only stayed a night so we didn't use all amenities. Our room was large . Didn't have a great view but we didn't care for one night. Bed was very comfy plus hot water in shower came on immediately which was great! Our room had big manatee paining from guy harvey collection! We decided to eat out after we walked to beach and went in the pool. After being in car all day it was amazing to relax in pool.. pool also had tiki bar with great drinks and beer menu! I would absolutely stay here again!

On second day, they were replacing a pipe, had to shut down the water. Took them all day to replace it, and then a bust pipe! It resulted in a disaster, there was no water all day and night. Worst nightmare. The water finally came back on the next day... for a few hours, then water shut off again! This time, I was told that their landscaping guy broke the pipe. It was really bad timing because it was one day before thanksgiving. Good that it only took a couple of hours to fix it this time. At least they did something right by offering partial discount (50% off of that one night). Every employee was nice and friendly except the house keeping lady who did our room. We greeted her, but she never greeted us back, always poker face. She only cleaned the drain in the shower one time, leave the hair in the drain for the rest of our stay. She didn't give us clean towels every day, didn't clean the trash bin in the shower. I never had this bad experience before. We booked the thanksgiving meal at the hotel, the meal was good as a buffet style food. Only one hour to dine, as they rotated the tables every hour. It cost us $50 per person plus taxes and tips, alcohol drinks not included. The meal was good, but I will not do it again. Breakfast not included in the room rate.

My experience at Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa was deeply concerning and far below the standards…read morethis property advertises. From the outset, the resort was misleading about what we were purchasing. We booked what was clearly represented as a golf package. Upon arrival, we were told we did not have access to golf that day. Golf was a primary reason we selected this resort. Clear, accurate representation of packages is not optional at this price point. When a resort markets itself as a premier golf destination, transparency matters. The accommodations did not reflect the luxury image presented online. The villa was outdated and worn, amenities did not function properly (including a broken coffee maker), and we experienced repeated unnecessary disturbances from staff knocking and ringing the doorbell. The condition and service level were inconsistent with what was advertised. Even more troubling was the professionalism of a golf manager during our stay. This individual winked at my minor son in a way that was inappropriate and made both of us uncomfortable. Regardless of intent, that type of interaction with a child is unacceptable in a professional hospitality setting. When I calmly raised concerns about the golf package confusion, the condition of the villa, and the overall experience, management responded with deflection rather than accountability. I was even told I should have given advance notice regarding my son's disability and booked a "disability room." That comment demonstrates a serious lack of training in guest relations and ADA awareness. This is not about minor inconveniences. It is about misleading representations, unprofessional conduct, inadequate accommodations, and a failure of leadership to take responsibility when legitimate concerns are raised. At this price level, guests should not have to push repeatedly to be heard. Transparency, professionalism, and respect -- especially toward families and minors -- should be baseline standards. Corporate leadership should take a close look at how packages are marketed, how villas are maintained, and how staff are trained. What we experienced fell significantly short of what is promised.

But their prices now are so outrageous, that regardless of how much money we have, it is not worth $457 (incl. Service Charge, 3% Credit Card Fee and after 1PM discount) to golf 18 holes there. It has a few beautiful holes on the Atlantic Ocean. However, I play courses just as nice for almost $400 less in Orlando. Attached is my receipt for cash w/o credit card fee.

I asked prior to booking about their facilities including beach front lots. I was told beach side you could see beach- no way to see over the large dunes. I was told pools were open and clearly asked. Wrong, know where on their site or when you call do they say there large pool has been CLOSED since OCTOBER 2023 . I had clearly called and asked about pools (2) bring open and was told yes on booking day. I was never told how to get into gate from beach or where to find code and got locked out... fyi gates don't unlock 1/2 the time from beach side, you must wait for someone to walk by to let you in. The small pool that is the only pool open is maxed out way past capacity. I asked for manager Renee to call about being very disappointed in our stay. I spoke with Elizabeth who said manager would call on a Monday and stated all issues about stay. Never received a callback. They just want your MONEY! This is what type of owner/ management is running this property.... Called back to property to speak to Renee and was SCREAMED at like i have never been spoken to that none of these issues were their fault. The FAULT lies that they are very untruthful and lie to get you there, checked in, and refuse to refund your money or a portion of it. If they were truthful About pool and lCk of open facilities that allows you to make your choice as to stay or not. We encountered at least 6 owners at this property that are also beyond disappointed in management and issues at the park. Blaming it on the city because they did not keep the park up is beyond disbelief. I would love to find out who owns this park and will further this investigation. DO NOT WASTE YOUR GOOD HARD MONEY TO BE SCREWED OVER. This staff of Renee and Elizabeth should be fired and not hired anywhere maybe they missed the honesty class and customer service 101.

I checked into the hotel on 03/27/2026 and checked out the very same day because the room condition was unacceptable. The room was not clean and did not meet reasonable expectations for a hotel stay. I was uncomfortable remaining there and chose to leave rather than stay overnight. Despite the fact that I never actually stayed at the property, the hotel has refused to issue any refund and is keeping the full charge for the entire stay. I attempted to resolve the issue directly with the hotel and through Expedia, providing clear communication about why I left the property the same day. Communication from the hotel was delayed and unhelpful. I received responses saying the matter would be sent to management, but no meaningful resolution was ever provided. What made this experience even more concerning was the dispute process afterward. During my credit card dispute, the hotel reportedly claimed that I "never checked out," which is completely false. I did leave the property the same day and have documentation showing my attempts to contact the hotel and resolve the matter. A disappointing room is one thing, but the lack of accountability, refusal to reasonably address the situation, and inaccurate statements made afterward are what ultimately led me to leave this review. I strongly encourage future guests to thoroughly inspect their room immediately upon arrival and keep records of all communication if problems arise.
