One of my new go-to nail salons here in Cypress w/ good complementary drinks! Service is pretty good and their massages are great too! The owner would walk around the salon every couple minutes, making sure that their customers are having good experiences here and that the employees are making them feel good and relaxed. When she checked our area where me and my aunt were getting our pedis, she also asked if our nail techs who were conversing in Vietnamese to each other were talking as long as they didn't talk bad about us since you know there are some nail techs out there who would talk about their customers and offend some of them. So far for my second visit here to get a mani-pedi combo before graduation, I'll give 4 stars to the service due to my techs repeatedly spilling some stuff such as the scrub, polish, etc. and that whoever doing my mani said stuff about my small hands, but luckily it wasn't derogatory though. I came here as a walk in for a mani/pedi. I was seen very fast, though I did come at 10 am. I chose the deep ocean pedicure for $65 and I also got shellac polish and added chrome which I did not know was going to be an additional $25 so that was a little unexpected. And i also got a full set for $65. My manicure was done be Hanna, and my pedicure by Ruby. My total with tip, was $182. Which was about $30 more than I thought it would be but that's okay. My manicure was amazing and absolutely perfect which was why I tipped so much. I was underwhelmed by my pedicure. I've had better for less. She painted my toes first and then did the massage part, but it truly only lasted 15 minutes. All she did was the stones and the hot towels and lotion , all at the same time within those 15 minutes. So it wasn't like the normal hour long process. I would have much rather because of that, done the basic pedicure and saved my money. But overall, it was a good experience. I do feel like the quality of my toes and nails was excellent. Just wish I would have known about the quality of the pedicure itself, and the extra for shellac vs. regular. I was getting it done for a birthday trip to Cancun, so the price didn't bother me as much as it normally would have for an everyday appointment. read more

What I love about her is that she not only slays my nails but she cares about the health of them. When I came to her I had a fungus on my nails and I wanted acrylic and she advised me against that and advised dip powder so that she could keep an eye on the condition of my nail. I was sold at that point. I have been a loyal customer of hers since. In addition for pedicures Ann is the best! I even have my husband coming to her now. We all got the same price pedicure however some steps were skipped with one of my girls. I reminded them that they all were the same but to no avail. I picked out a color, everything was fine until paint time. She started and I told her that wasn't the correct color shellac. She then proceeded to tell me that they were out of that color. Why didn't you tell me before you painted my toes white? So not wanting to be there any longer I picked out a new color. My nails are still the wrong color. How are silver/gold even close to the same? Regardless I won't be back. I feel like they will say anything just to get you in the seat. I had a gel French manicure and regular polish pedicure. I wasn't paying attention to my toes, (I was looking at my fingers because they were doing my mani and pedi at the same time) and didn't realize she put three coats of polish on until she was done. They look way too thick. When my nails were done, I wasn't overly thrilled, they were just ok at best. I hate complaining so I just paid for my service and went to my car. Once I got in the sunlight I noticed how crooked the French manicure was on several of my fingers and decided to go back inside. I had my French manicure taken off and another nail tech tried to redo it, but i still didn't like it. I honestly think the way the first nail tech filed my nails was making the French manicure look off. The second nail tech also said my nail bed was curved so it was tricky to do the French manicure....never been told that before, but whatever. So I opted for solid polish. At this point Im very disappointed because I wanted a French manicure and had already paid the extra money it costs to have it done. I really couldn't decide on a solid color and knew I was wasting everyones time (they had become super busy by now.) So I walked out. The manager chased me down and talked me into coming back inside. So I picked a color, which was #22....they pulled the box down that said #22. They begin to apply it and its obviously much darker than the display. At this point I've already been here 2 hours and last thing I want to be is a "Karen". I'm still upset I spent $115 on something I hate, but I went along with it. Don't get the wrong, they were more than willing to fix my nails and make me happy....but after seeing the solid polish was the wrong color, Im not gonna say anything. They'd already tried to fix it once, I'd just look like a jerk for saying something again. Below you can see the picture of how different the color I picked versus what I got is. I know the displays probably fade over time, but they should make an effort to keep them updated. The nail salon overall was clean and the staff were friendly. It's been a few mo ths that's I've been coming here and ive always felt comfortable. Even the few times I came close to closing. ‍ Kathy is always welcoming with a smile and checking on me throughout my visit. I'm big on consistency and this is definitely the place for it. There has been at least 4 tech that have done my nails here and while they have all satisfied my nail beds, none better than Andy and Karin. They are both bright and full of life and laughter and keep the visit interesting. Talking about life and family. Andy stays busy as he should because he keeps up with the latest colors and trends and the area is full of high school and college kids so they keep him booked. Karin also is engaged in what's new and hot and she takes good care of my nails, knowing exactly what I like and need. I came in wanting a full set, I had a picture of what I wanted. The nails I got in question were not anything like the picture and the design on the nails was poorly done. I had asked for nude nails with blue designs. My nails came out clear and the designs looked cheap. When she was filing down my nail she nicked my skin a few times and I began to bleed. Also when she applied the acrylic she put it on over my cuticle, than later tried to pull my nail from under the acrylic. Bad experience and I won't recommend nor will I go back. I have been a customer for 4 years. A recent change of owner/management has come with disturbing changes. My same tech, who have always done a good job, now seem to be rushed so quality is not what it was before. On my last appointment, one of my regular techs was out. Got a pedi from someone different. She dug in on the sides of my nails (painful) and now my left big toe is hurting. Wish they still had old management. New people are not very personable. Extremely unprofessional!!! 2 months ago I had an appointment with the nail tech Teresa. I was running late because I had to drive all the way from Pearland, stuck in traffic, and I called and asked her if I can reschedule my appointment for the next hour. She said she wasn't available and I ended up not going. Fast forward to me booking another appointment this past week with her through their receptionist and the next day I got a text saying my appointment was canceled. When I called to find out the receptionist told me Teresa would let me know why. Teresa then texted me and said she refuses to do my nails because of the last time I called to reschedule my appointment. So she cancelled my appointment. Like what kind of customer service is this? You'd rather lose a whole customer? I've never had this happen to me in my 25 years of getting my nails done. I have been to this salon on 3 other different occasions and normally leave satisfied but this time was a bust. I requested black dip with a holographic finish on top. However the result was more of an overall silver color and was patchy and not smooth- looked nothing like the sample. Bryan did my nails and the result was over all sloppy with black powder residual left on my skin. Also there was this terrible odor in the shop . It was like a sick, body odor smell that kind of smelled like vomit. I'm not sure who or where it was coming from but it was so bad, they propped the doors open. I would have stayed longer to ask for better results but the odor was SO OFFENSIVE that I was in a hurry to leave and did not want to breathe through my nose. Even after I left the smell lingered in my nose.This was the worst nail salon service I have ever had. read more
