Visited for a regular mani pedi. I am giving 3 because I was not certain the instruments were clean. Usually the tech will take the instruments out of their sanitizing pouch. That was not the case here. It's was not the best job or the worst I've had. Their chairs and such are very old and show a lot of wear and tear. Prices were competitive. read more

I came to Ocean Nails very last minute; flying from Colorado to Florida for Christmas with my family, and didn't have time to get my nails done while I was home in Colorado. I work in a restaurant as a barista so my nails are typically in horrible shape, particularly my thumbs in the winter because my hands get so dry after continuous washing. I let the woman who was doing my nails know this and she was very careful with them, and they turned out nicely! For a last minute place to walk into the prices were great and work was good too. I had to go back and clean up just a few sections after, but nothing I haven't had to do at a number of any other nails salons. If I was back in Florida I would go back again! read more

Victoria has been doing my pedicures at Ocean Nails for over a year now. They are always flexible, kind, and attentive to your needs. Sam usually books my appointments by phone and ever after a 1/2 year absence, they remembered me just by name, and are so friendly. Each time I go, I receive a comfortable & safe pedicure exactly how I requested it, and am not shuffled in and out like a number. Nice customer service and great feet/leg massages when getting a pedicure. The store smelled overwhelmingly of chemicals and wasn't the cleanest. Upon getting the pedicure my cuticles were cut down to the quick (ouch). Overall everything came out looking good, but not sure I would return. read more

I just moved from CT and had a hard time finding a nail salon that didn't do heavy acrylic sets. They do a very natural gel set and the price was good as well for a full -35. My color is great and my nails look natural. The pedicure was great as well. They used the callus remover solution and the massage was great. Highly recommend this place. This is the third year (on vacation) I've gone here for a Mani and pedi. Rose is awesome! This is the most sanitary salon I've ever went to. The pedicure bowls are lined with disposal plastic. The tools come out in a sealed bag. Gloves and mask are worn I'm sure for their protection as well as the customer. They do not rush.....everything first class! I got a regular manicure and found that the nail polish selection was very small and I couldn't find a color that I really liked. I settled for a color I later came to dislike but I didn't change it. The technician seemed to be rushed and messed up one of my nails in the process. I was also not offered a drying station or fan after the manicure. I walked in based on yelp reviews. Walk in and I'm the only one in there. Place looked clean and the Massage chairs look nice. I asked the lady if they did stone pedicures. Answer was yes, how much I asked. $24 for regular but with stones $35. Reasonable so I pick my polish. My pedicurist walks in and rubs my shoulder...kind of weird. I sit down and he gives a pretty good pedicure except every few minutes he asks me if I'm ticklish and tickles my foot then underneath my knee. I tell him I'm not ticklish and finally ask him to stop because I don't like it. Really odd. The stones were too hot and he kept adding lotion instead of water...and only lasted a couple of minutes. Then I ask for nail art, another guy sits down and does his own design. Not what I showed my pedicurist. So I showed him and apologized, he "attempted" to recreate lines of white and red to look like peppermint. Totally messed up the lines and the toes didn't match. Ran out of time to do a manicure so I told him I just wanted red. I had to go so I already paid. When I got the bill he charged me $45. I asked the lady and she said it was $35 and $5 for the art and $5 for the stones. I left feeling creeped out, not what I asked for and ripped off. Btw bring your own music or something to do because there are no TVs, music or decor to pass the time. There's a reason why this place was empty! read more
