This was my first time visiting Ocean Nails Spa and it was seriously one of the best pedicures I have received. I had originally walked into a different salon and they didn't greet me after standing there for about a minute so I decided to go elsewhere. I was a walk-in at this location and they had me started as soon as I arrived. I will say almost as soon as I was seated the front area got busy so I would recommend scheduling ahead of time. I could tell their team took pride in their work! My lady was very detailed in making my feet look fabulous. We did not chat much as I was working while getting my toes done. The massage portion of my pedi was so relaxing. If I lived in town I would make this my go-to spot! The pedicure I received was $25 and I honestly thought they were going to charge me more for hot rocks and the awesome massage. The staff were very friendly and helped me as soon as I walked in. The location was very clean and the pedicure chairs has USB plugs in case you need to charge a device. Totally recommend this spot! read more

First time there a week ago. I called in advance and made an appt for manicure with gel and a pedicure. Mai slapped some gel polish on and then told me I was done and could go pay. No real manicure. Also she pulled the cuticle trimmer out of her drawer clearly not sanitized. I let her know I also wanted a pedicure and made an appt for that. She seemed annoyed and sent me for my pedicure. The pedicure was pretty good but the toenail polish chipped in two days and my gel polish on my hands started peeling in a week. With so many better choices in the area, I won't be going back. read more

This place just can't do nails. I used the person in chair 3, and it was a horrible experience. They used old nail polish on me that was thick and goopy, it never fully dried so I had to just take it off. My cuticles looked better before I got the manicure. Terrible low quality salon. Went in for a mani and French pedi, this took two hours! The woman doing my nails forgot I asked for a French pedicure and last minute threw on thick uneven white lines. During my manicure she messed up one nail and then began to rush to finish the others and in the process messed up another nail. While repairing the two nails she rushed not giving the paint enough time to dry causing huge ugly streaks. Definitely not worth the money. read more

I don't live in the area. Actually my friend is getting married and moving away but since I was nearby I came in for a pedicure. I love the design, and the fact that my nail tech Amy was able to do a wonderful design that goes with every dress I have to wear in the wedding. She even made an appointment for me so when I come back for more wedding festivities she'll be ready for me! Will I make the hour trip to get my nails done here? ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Went for a pedicure. ..asked for a few certain things and was told "yes" by the girl, who proceeded to not do any of those things where I had to repeat myself several times. She finally asked another worker what i meant. And still didnt do it. I then took the foot sponge to get my own calluses off since she was apparently unable, and the owner came up to me and ripped it put of my hand and threatened to make me pay for the towel that I gpt nail polish on. I have nevet been treated to rudely by ppl who I was paying for a service. I almost left without paying but didn't feel like getting arrested. Dont bless these idiots with your business. There are plenty of nail places around where u can sit back relax and enjoy a pedicure without babysitting ypur peducurist. So disappointed!!! read more

Very disappointed with new owner and operator , Kelly. I have been a regular customer for many YEARS and always make an appointment in advance. Last week I was told by Kelly to use another manicurist so she could take walk-ins instead of me at my scheduled appt. She could have easily honored my appt and sent the walk-in customer to another manicurist. Very rude, disrespectful, lack of good customer service to a long-standing, loyal consumer! WE ARE OUR CHOICES ! I choose to use another nail salon and will not use Kelly or Ocean Nails again!!!!! read more

As I have always scheduled an appointment in advance, having her take walk-ins instead of honoring my scheduled appointment, was rude and thoughtless. I never write reviews but I am FURIOUS! I went to get my eyebrows waxed and they legit did the worst job ever! They ripped my skin slightly above my eyelids nearly off. I did not notice until a few hours after how bad it was. It had hurt thought perhaps it was normal to be experiencing this pain and redness. This wasn't just red irritated skin this was due to the fact the lady ripped off my skin. There is a trace of an eyebrow right below my brow even more so down towards my eyelid. It looks as if they waxed my entire brow off and moved it upwards 2 inches. The lady was so rough and there was no way of communicating with her. Now for the past 2 days I have been experiencing pain where she had waxed unnecessary skin off. Thought it would last at least one day but no. They are terrible at waxing brows! DO NOT GO TO OCEAN NAIL SPA FOR ANY TYPE OF WAXING! They might as well just rip off your skin and give you a third degree burn cause that is how my skin feels. NEVER BEEN SO UPSET. Had waxed my eyebrows before and never experienced discomfort before afterwards. I usually get my nails done here and experience no problems, but after a few recent trips to the spa I had finalized my decision and am NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN and do not recommend! I came one day to get my nails done and the owner said it was OK to come in although they were closed that there was no problem she would do them. Mind you there was still customers inside and would have left if they said "sorry we are closed". One of the ladies was about to leave and the owner ask her if she wants to do my nails. SHE ROLLED HER EYES AND SAID YES. I NEVER ASKED HER TO STAY. SHE HAD THE GUTS to even talk to me in her main language, Spanish, and ask me why I had come in, etc. Kid you not asked her if she would treat other customers this way like she did me, that couldn't communicate with her in her language. I CAME IN BECAUSE I FREAKING WANTED MY NAILS DONE SORRY!!! SHE HAD THE WORST ATTITUDE and had THE MEANEST look while doing my nails. She did a crappy job the supposing "gel nail polish" had chipped off the following day.......HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE. I am sure they don't even use legit gel nail polish. NEVER AGAIN!!! The regular nail polish stays on longer than that "gel crap". read more
