The woman and the man is always turning me away when I come in! Saying ohhh we too busy come back another day! I say ok tomorrow then he say No busy tomorrow too! The most unorganized, rude customer service you can get! They make their time available based off of good tips and believe me they know which ones tip good and who don't! Horrible! My daughter paid $160 for 2 full sets for both of us. How I wanted my nails looks nothing like the picture I showed them. They did a Horrible job on the stiletto shape on my nails. I didn't realize how much my daughter paid until she told me the next day. When I called and said I was on my way they said they were not busy. Well 20 mins later when I get there we have ro wait. Then they take my daughter and totally skipped over me by taking 4 other walk ins after we had arrived. I will never ever get my nails done here again! Its not like we even had some elaborate design done. Just 2 different colors of polish. They didn't even have purple. What nail salon doesn't have purple nail polish? There is no justification for the price we paid and I will be calling there tomorrow. read more

I came in with daughter who is 12 I ask her to have a gel polish change and once she was done she told me she did a gel manicure ( I was sitting on out of view getting a fill ) I told her that is not what I ask for because my daughter has sensitive skin and whenever she gets her Cuticles cut she bleed and has gotten very irritated in the pass , and when she did my daughter she did cut her.. but instead of apologizing she called me cheap!! If I could give 0 stars I would. I can't believe I went there today and was refused service for me & my daughter. We were totally ignored after signing in and waiting. A woman came from the back to ask us if we needed help & once I said eyebrows another employee gestured to her No with her hands and then she walked back I'm the back. After sitting another 10 minutes I realized we would not be helped. This truly showed my daughter discrimination at it's best. Don't go here. I got a fill and they ruined my nail shaped. Left with weird bumps in gel on several fingers. Didn't see them until I had left the salon and looked at my nails in the daylight. Also a week later I had three nails break at the tip. Not sure if this was the kind of gel they used or not. But overall the quality here has gone down. read more

Been coming here for several years. Been very happy with Diana and the work she does. Unfortunately this past week I was unable to get an appointment with her therefore, took someone else - this was a Friday. I came in for a gel manicure once before and it was done decently so I decided to come back. It seemed alright the second time but much thinner than usual. I didn't think anything of it but after three days, the nails on my thumb, index, and middle finger all started to crack at the outer edges and then another three days after that, it started to peel off with my nail. A week and a half in, my nail has torn badly on my thumb and my index finger and my nail underneath is extremely thin. I've never had a gel manicure crack and break so badly, damaging my nails. The people here are rude. I went here once before and wasn't pleased with my pedicure. But i always give places second chances. Needless to say, months later i tried to give them a call because i needed a full set. I like my nails a certain shape and a lot of people can't get it right so i called to see if someone there was able to do a coffin shape nail. Her response to me was maybe you should find somewhere else to go since you're so picky. There was definitely a better way to handle that situation and for that i will always tell people not to go there. read more

I went to Nails XP on and off for years. The last two years, they have a technician there who gave the best spa pedicure I've ever had which was one of the only reasons I continued to go there. Manicures were average at best. I did not see any of the cleanliness issues others experienced, that seemed ok. However, the owner is typical, maybe worse than most, and likes to give your appointment away whether you are on time or 5 minutes late! I know whenever I get there on time, my technician is never ready for me, nor is she close to being done. So this last time I made an appointment for 3:15, then decided to ask if she would be available a little earlier and the owner said "sure come at 3 if you want". I arrived about 3:07 and as usual someone was sitting with my tech at least 10+ minutes in to their pedicure. I was livid, and not going to stand for this yet again! I left saying "This is ridiculous, I will just find another salon". The owner called me a few minutes later on my cell phone saying "why did you leave, she was almost done". Not the first time she has said that to me when the tech clearly had 45+ mins to go. I understand accommodating walk-ins but not when you have customers bothering to make appointments and then you give their appointment away! This owner basically treats everyone like they are stupid, adding insult to injury! read more

The girl I had for my pedicure was very sweet, but she did a basic job. Nothing super spectacular. I'm also pretty sure the nail clipper wasn't sitting in any solution prior to using it on me, nor was the file fresh out of a wrapper. My sister got acrylics with a french manicure and she has come here multiple times; they charged her $40 this time when it's usually always $30. The guy who did her nails had a rude demeanor. Nothing is THAT amazing about this place - you can definitely find a better salon. read more

I really love this place. It's across from Home Depot near the Verizon store. I tried a few other nail salons in Long Branch over the past year, but Nails XP is the cleanest by far. They do an EXCELLENT job on pink and white nails. I've never had a pedicure there, but I see a lot of girls getting pedis and they look great. I always get the pink acrylic with white spray and gel on top. It only chipped once after 3 weeks- other places I usually chip the next day! My nails never turn yellow and they are always the perfect shape. They don't do them too thick either. I am usually in a hurry too, and they always get me in and out quickly. All of the employees were extremely rude and standoffish, no one even noticed I was there for about 8 minutes before I was asked if I needed help. Charged me $55 for a dip mani with tips. I asked for them to be ombre, my right-hand looks great but my left-hand looks like she didn't even try it just looks like a bad french manicure. They are OKAY there. I have never once left there and been 100% happy with my nails. It's always something minor but enough to bother me. There will be a fuzz or one nail will be crooked or not the right shape. When I can't get an appointment at my normal salon and I really need my nails done I go over to nails xp. This place is so dirty! Everything looks clean but as you sit there looking around, you start noticing things. I saw 3 people finish with pedicures & not once was the tub cleaned, they just wiped it with a cloth & no cleaner. They had NO idea how to take gel nail polish off. She tried to just peel it off without filing or soaking it until I said something. The tools she used did not look clean & it wasn't out of a sealed pouch, it was already opened & when she was done she just placed it back in her drawer. She cut me multiple times & I consider myself very lucky I didn't end up with an infection. To top it off, she was texting & made 2 phone calls throughout my manicure, at a couple points using both hands while I was just sitting there staring at her. Overall the maincure wasn't that great between the bleeding cuticles, gel stuck to my fingers, the shape was vey different on each nails. I would rather spend double somewhere else than ever go back here, I warn everyone I can about this place! read more

Absolutely TERRIBLE! DO NOT GO HERE! This nail salon does not know how to take of a gel manicure the proper way. They took the electric file and filed the nail polish and then had me sit with my fingers in a bowl of acetone. This woman tried 3 TIMES to try to get off the gel manicure. For anyone who doesn't know how a gel manicure works, you are supposed to wrap each individual finger in foil with nail polish remover, adding a heated towel helps. Either way, she eventually gave up and took the electric file and shaved the rest of the nail polish and then proceeded to use the electric file on my NATURAL nails! I could feel the burning on my nail from the electric file. Anyway, she cut my cuticles, another terrible job and then applied the polish. I left and found then I can BEND my nails. They are so weak and thin now because she took the electric file to them. I am extremely disappointed because I have been trying to grow my nails out for a while and they were at a very nice length and very strong. Because of this nail salon's mistake, my nails have broken and I have had to clip them short again and start over. For once in my life, I wanted to go back and ask for my money back. Never going back here again and I suggest you do the same. Extremely upset and disappointed. read more
