They did really well with COVID-19 procedure wearing mask and gloves, checking temperatures at the door as well, and making sure hands were washed before starting on the manicures and pedicures. My daughter is only 10 years old so I usually pay child prices for her they didn't look at her as a child and charge $50 just for a manicure and pedicure which I thought was overpriced for a 10-year-old child. I did see a sign saying that they had to unfortunately raise their prices due to Product price being raised. Other than that, they did an OK job and got us in and out in a timely manner. I had no other complaints other than the high price for a child which caught me off guard and I wasn't expecting so I didn't let her get the extra stuff that I normally would.

I have been getting my manicures and pedicures here for a couple of years. Last summer the tech…read morenicked the cuticle on my toe that bled immediately but they continued with the pedicure. I ended up getting an infection. I reached out to the owner who refunded me for the service. I decided to give them another try because everyone has an off day and the owner did a great job solving my concerns. I took my daughter to get a full acrylic set for her graduation ceremony- she had been asking for nails for several years and this was her first time getting them. They came out lovely. I paid $180 for the service and tip with Jamie. We went to have them removed 3 weeks later because she wanted a break for the summer. I booked a $30 nail enhancement removal with Helen. I sat at the entrance and watched as she first sanded down the top layer. I assumed next would be the foil acetone soak as is standard and what I told my daughter to expect. Instead of foils, Helen proceeded to very quickly and aggressively sand down the entire nail on all of my daughter's fingers. She nicked her skin in several places, and it bled. I am now in recovery mode trying to heal my daughter's nails, prevent infection and ease her pain. Several nails are completely sanded to the internal nail bed. Shame on this salon. Avoid at all costs.

But tipping when service wasn't up to par and saying your staff only survive on tips is a bit rude. Asking if the service was good is a moot point if the customer didn't tip. Why would someone tip and encourage uneven nails, applying the polish and allowing it to bubble, etc... if they were new and needing to be trained, it would be best to let the customer know. But that wasn't the case I assume, just a bad job and rushing through the clients.
