My nails look like my four-year-old sister did them, though, even she could have done a better job. I shouldn't have to sit in my car after my appointment and pick off all the nail polish on my skin and around my nails where my nail tech was too lazy to file off. They did a fantastic job with 2 very excited kids who had never had this done professionally before. They let them pick one color for each finger and made sure they were comfortable and talked to them. The service was absolutely wonderful, felt like we had been coming there forever! Their nails did look fantastic and they gave them this hard polish that was like bullet proof and has still held up on the girls, which is damn impressive. My wife loved it too. It's such a relaxing atmosphere compared to a generic nail salon, my wife loved it and said she can't wait to come back. So, for any guys looking for something this was a fantastic spot and glad I surprised the ladies in my life with this spot. The prices are reasonable (or so I am told). Politely offered beverage services, snacks, hair style lookbooks, a comfy waiting area and a full suite of products round out the amenities. ( As of this posting, ownership has installed full-spectrum, eco-responsible lighting that naturally illuminates- giving you and your stylist true color representation, resulting in effects that look great when you emerge into natural light.) As for the talent, I have my main guru Tracey, but have had to use the services of other team members when my schedule doesn't work with Tracey. Mary Jean, Nicole, and a host of others have stepped in to do wonderful updos, cuts and color, straightening, etc. When things get busy at the salon, the team help each other out. They support each other, making it a wonderful, smooth operation. It's just a solid team, working hard to make every guest feel welcome, cared for and beautiful. As for the errant negative reviews, we live in a world where, sadly, entitlement rules. People want to have *everything* delivered to them *immediately* for a cost next to nothing- and they want it done exactly like how they picture it in their minds- no matter how much it may defy all natural laws of physics. I'll stick with working as a research scientist, thank you- it's far easier than owning a salon. You can't please everyone as a business owner, but every three months or so, I get to see a group of talented professionals give it their all toward this end. Even when I don't want a huge change in style, but looking for something slightly different, my hairdresser - Cheryl - always know just what to do to style it for a little extra something without going overboard. It's also so great that she really listens to what I want and is always spot on with her execution. And she's very familiar with the way my hair reacts and behaves, so she's very in tune to what needs to be done. Aside from the hair care, I always love what a welcoming environment this salon is; the staff is always so good and friendly with their clients like the local hangout. I feel as though a lot of salons do miss this aspect. Also appreciated is the fact that there's always a plethora of current magazines. It's also right across the street from The Grove and Bagelmasters, so I can get a fabulous bagel and shop afterwards, so I make a little day out of it.

It's been a little over three weeks and my nails are polished with just a few chips which is totally normal. Service was great otherwise. I went to Martin and he worked wonders on my nails. I say worked wonders because if you saw what my nails looked like when I walked in compared to after - you would probably say he work worked wonders too. They offer paraffin and don't charge extra for it like other salons in the area. Additionally it is extremely clean and the people who work there are super nice. Everyone speaks English too, so you don't have to worry about people making fun of you or your nails in a different language which sounds terrible but by the same token is a plus. If you need a new nail salon definitely check this place out! It's 100% my new go-to salon in Monmouth County! Going back today and couldn't be more excited :)
