    Caramel Cheesecake (normally includes strawberries)
    Robert M.

I am in town for a couple days to attend a training seminar and found this great restaurant to enjoy my dinners. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I have eaten here two nights in a row, that's how much I like their food, atmosphere, and friendly staff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The first night I enjoyed their Chicken Parmigiana and Linguine Alfredo. I also tried their Cheesecake with Caramel and Strawberries (but I asked them to not put the strawberries on mine). Both were very tasty! I especially enjoyed their Cheesecake. The second night I tried their 3 Tacos Dinner with Chicken and their appetizer Calamari. Again, excellent food! I almost wished I lived close by so that I could enjoy their entire menu!

I visited this restaurant since it received a good rating and it was close to my hotel. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Once inside, I was very underwhelmed as the inside doesn't look like a typical place for steaks and seafood.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I looked over the shortened menu a few times to decide what to order. I knew I wanted something light and most of their seafood was breaded. I ended up choosing the clams since they said "local" on the menu. I also added a brownie sundae for dessert....and an iced tea. I did like their iced tea quite a bit. The clams - not a typical clam dish from back home since we don't have fresh clams, but this was really good. The bread that comes with it was bad. It is just an appetizer, so it's small. Brownie sundae - this is over the top with 2 large brownies, 3 scoops of chocolate ice cream, fudge sauce, and sprinkled cocoa on the rim of the plate. Nice presentation ...the brownie is gooey and warm..what more can you ask for?

We stopped in during our travels. Food was good. My crab mac and cheese didn't have much crab and my husband's prime rib pasta had little prime rib. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean and nautical ambience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was quick.

Just for a little bit of perspective, we're local. We really want this restaurant to succeed. The Centralia Chehalis area really doesn't have a good steakhouse, and that's what this restaurant promised to be. However, both times we've been here (separated by over a year), our meals have been mediocre at best. Tonight we both ordered the New York strip with a plain baked potato and asparagus. The baked potatoes arrived overcooked and were so dried out it was hard to scoop out the potato. The steaks were chewy to say the least. The side salad was the best part of the meal. The asparagus was nothing to write home about. We gently complained to our waitress: it's not her fault the kitchen fell down on this one. We were offered dessert. They should have comped part of the meal. We would perhaps try something else the next time, but our tab was $120 with tax and tip and water to drink. Better yet, we'll go somewhere else... sorry. We had better at Texas Roadhouse a few days ago.

    Our yummy dessert!

We just finished our meal and a shared dessert! It was delicious and the wait staff was attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It looks like the booths were remodeled and it's nicely painted.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will definitely return when we get back this way!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Service and ambience were good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food for the most part had good flavor. Started with calamari rings and found a steel wool in one as I was chewing. Husband ordered steak and eggs which he said were good. Son tried crab Mac and cheese and said not enough crab or cheese. I tried the chicken fried steak which although over cooked had good seasoning and breading.

Ocean Prime never disappoints. Hand pressed fresh turkey burger. The love and quality put into their creations never disappoint. I have never had a less than superb service and food.

What an awesome meal for an awesome birthday! Chef Ayner even came out to greet us from busy time from his kitchen. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is amazing! All nautically decorated and in good taste too![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered calamari for starters and they were so moist and soft! It was the best I have ever eaten! I had the salmon tacos, hubby had the fish and chips and the boys had sliders and Mac n cheese.. we ate so full, we are ready for a nap! Thanks chef!! It was delish!!

We went to the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds to go to the 2023 Garlic Festival…read more As far as the fairgrounds go I don't have any qualms with the space. Parking was relatively easy to get in and out of. There are colored zones to pay attention to so you know on which side you parked at. I don't know how well it's managed during an actual fair because I am more urban in that sense and would just as soon go to the fair in Puyallup but for festivals like the ine we went to it seemed to fit the bill nicely. The Garlic Festival itself has it's own Yelp entry which I have a review for from several years ago but that entry is listed as closed probably due to the festival being inactive during the pandemic. The festival has changed since I was last there. They have a lot of food with garlic, vendors selling garlic and other things you would see at a farmer's market but they also had a whole building at the fairgrounds playing up the relationship vampires have with garlic so there were a lot of vendors in this part of the festival that specialized in more Goth type art, gear and household decor (and more) which I really, really enjoyed. Forbidden Love was the name of this sector of the fair I believe. Yes, the Garlic Festival seems to bring in more attendees each year but it seems like the fairgrounds here are still a suitable place to have this size of festival.

Review from August 2023…read more I like garlic. Do you like garlic? Well, you won't find the fair lacking. There's a place that boasts a "Mega" Philly cheesesteak for $14, which I didn't think was mega and don't think was worth the cost. Maybe that was the mega part. That being said, it was a good cheesesteak. Not great, but good. This place does have good garlic fries. I had Uncle Joe's last year, they make their own sausages, which are very good, and they had great garlic fries. I think my favorite thus far is the Frying Dutch Girl. Other than food, there are livestock, chicken/ roosters, etc. There are rides (of course) notably a Ferris wheel which is good romantic excursion at sunset. The grandstand is where a lot of the product vendors are. A/C vendors, soap and beauty products (the Cocosheama booth stood out to me), cutlery from CutCo , Tupperware (I didn't realize that brand was still a thing), jewelry, etc. There is also a booth that has multiple businesses (Strong Tower painting & siding, Azurguard Roofing, Alpha Y La Omega landscaping and Bethel Remodel), she was super nice There are also Republican Party booths, a VA booth looking for signatures for a petition to reopen a closed location (I signed). There's a booth that educates in gun rights (it is helpful info) All in all, great fun. Hot days that are cooling down. Stop by.

    ### So Bad It Was Almost Comical…read more My wife and I stopped here for lunch on our drive from Oregon to Seattle. The parking lot was completely full, so after circling around and eventually finding street parking, we figured the place must be popular. Unfortunately, that turned out to be the high point of the experience. The main restaurant was fairly full, so we were seated in a large, dark bar area in the back. And then... nothing happened. For more than 30 minutes. Eventually, a waiter appeared and took our order. Then another 30+ minutes passed before the food arrived. Somehow, even our iced tea didn't make it to the table until the food did. All told, we spent roughly an hour sitting at an empty table without so much as a beverage, and about 90 minutes from the time we arrived until we actually had food in front of us. At that point, the whole experience was becoming almost comical. We ordered a cod burger with fries, a Caesar salad, onion rings and an iced tea. The cod burger was okay. Nothing memorable, but edible. The Caesar salad was actually good. The fries, however, arrived cold, soggy and thoroughly greasy -- quite an accomplishment considering how long we waited for them. The onion rings apparently embarked on a separate journey altogether, because they never arrived. By then, we'd lost the will to ask about them and just gave up. The grand total for one cod burger with cold fries, a small Caesar salad and an iced tea? $40.00! We mentioned the long wait, forgotten food and other problems to our waiter. He was sympathetic and explained that they were short staffed, which we understand can make things difficult. But being short staffed doesn't make a 90-minute lunch, no drinks for an hour, cold soggy fries and forgotten food any less disappointing -- especially at those prices. By the end, we weren't even angry. The whole thing had crossed over into comedy. Needless to say, on future drives between Oregon and Seattle, we'll be finding a different midway lunch stop.
