Caramel Cheesecake (normally includes strawberries)
Robert M.

I am in town for a couple days to attend a training seminar and found this great restaurant to enjoy my dinners. I have eaten here two nights in a row, that's how much I like their food, atmosphere, and friendly staff. The first night I enjoyed their Chicken Parmigiana and Linguine Alfredo. I also tried their Cheesecake with Caramel and Strawberries (but I asked them to not put the strawberries on mine). Both were very tasty! I especially enjoyed their Cheesecake. The second night I tried their 3 Tacos Dinner with Chicken and their appetizer Calamari. Again, excellent food! I almost wished I lived close by so that I could enjoy their entire menu!

I visited this restaurant since it received a good rating and it was close to my hotel. Once inside, I was very underwhelmed as the inside doesn't look like a typical place for steaks and seafood. I looked over the shortened menu a few times to decide what to order. I knew I wanted something light and most of their seafood was breaded. I ended up choosing the clams since they said "local" on the menu. I also added a brownie sundae for dessert....and an iced tea. I did like their iced tea quite a bit. The clams - not a typical clam dish from back home since we don't have fresh clams, but this was really good. The bread that comes with it was bad. It is just an appetizer, so it's small. Brownie sundae - this is over the top with 2 large brownies, 3 scoops of chocolate ice cream, fudge sauce, and sprinkled cocoa on the rim of the plate. Nice presentation ...the brownie is gooey and warm..what more can you ask for?

We stopped in during our travels. Food was good. My crab mac and cheese didn't have much crab and my husband's prime rib pasta had little prime rib. Clean and nautical ambience. Service was quick.

Just for a little bit of perspective, we're local. We really want this restaurant to succeed. The Centralia Chehalis area really doesn't have a good steakhouse, and that's what this restaurant promised to be. However, both times we've been here (separated by over a year), our meals have been mediocre at best. Tonight we both ordered the New York strip with a plain baked potato and asparagus. The baked potatoes arrived overcooked and were so dried out it was hard to scoop out the potato. The steaks were chewy to say the least. The side salad was the best part of the meal. The asparagus was nothing to write home about. We gently complained to our waitress: it's not her fault the kitchen fell down on this one. We were offered dessert. They should have comped part of the meal. We would perhaps try something else the next time, but our tab was $120 with tax and tip and water to drink. Better yet, we'll go somewhere else... sorry. We had better at Texas Roadhouse a few days ago.

Service and ambience were good. Food for the most part had good flavor. Started with calamari rings and found a steel wool in one as I was chewing. Husband ordered steak and eggs which he said were good. Son tried crab Mac and cheese and said not enough crab or cheese. I tried the chicken fried steak which although over cooked had good seasoning and breading.

Ocean Prime never disappoints. Hand pressed fresh turkey burger. The love and quality put into their creations never disappoint. I have never had a less than superb service and food.

What an awesome meal for an awesome birthday! Chef Ayner even came out to greet us from busy time from his kitchen. The ambiance is amazing! All nautically decorated and in good taste too! We ordered calamari for starters and they were so moist and soft! It was the best I have ever eaten! I had the salmon tacos, hubby had the fish and chips and the boys had sliders and Mac n cheese.. we ate so full, we are ready for a nap! Thanks chef!! It was delish!!

Prime Rib Pasta

What a delightful surprise! The outside and interior are not fancy, and there were only a few other tables with folks else seated - we came in for a later dinner at 8:30 on a Saturday. Highlights - the entrees! Everything was DELICIOUS. Nice big portions. I had the prime rib pasta, which was exactly what I was hoping for, flavorful and hearty, both the mushrooms and beef had the perfect texture and the sauce was just right. My kid ate my garlic bread with gusto so I'll assume it was good. Other adults in our party ordered salmon and prime rib, both with garlic mashed potatoes and a side of grilled shrimp. It all looked fantastic and everyone raved about their meals. The shrimp skewers were great, both with and without the light butter sauce they come with. My youngest got the macaroni and cheese from the kids menu, and you could see the melty cheese as she lifted her fork. Most of us took our leftovers home. Skip - we thought the appetizers were just okay, we had calamari and crab wontons, they weren't quite hot enough and just average in flavor. The entrees are so good, you won't be missing anything if you skip an app. We got marionberry cobbler for dessert. I thought it was fine, the topping was a little too dry for me, but the other two adults loved it and ice cream solves anything. Our waiter was friendly and helpful, and overall we all left full and very happy with our choice. What a great local restaurant, we'll come back next time we're in the area.

Bread pudding

Me and the wife have wanted to try this place for awhile now and i decided to surprise her for a date night at this establishment. The dining room at first glance screams breakfast diner, but as you take in the atmosphere it says otherwise immediately after getting drinks and the menu. Fairly on the pricey side but from what I'm told the ingredients are always fresh and never frozen and that alone to me is worth the price. After ordering drinks, my wife had a soda while I chose the tangerine wheat ale, we decided on the artichoke dip for an appetizer. The artichoke dip was phenomenal, and it came with pita bread and tortilla chip assortment. For myself I got the stuffed pork chops with a side of roasted potatoes and asparagus, and everything complimented the other so well. Flavorful to say the least! My wife settled on the crab leg special of the day and wasn't disappointed whatsoever. We both decided to share a bread pudding for dessert which was so fluffy and sweet it felt like our own personal side of heaven! What's more after our dinner experience the chef/owner Eyner came out to greet us and ask us how our experience was, and with myself having over 15 years in the culinary business myself was super impressed with everything but most importantly getting to meet with the executive chef who prepared such a wonderful menu for a quaint and intimate restaurant and dining experience. 10/10 will most definitely be going back and would definitely recommend stopping by if you ever find yourself in the Chehalis, WA area. It's right off of the I-5. Thank me later.

Rambling Jacks Rib Eye - Our Always-Stop Spot on the Way to Seattle…read more We stopped in for a late breakfast on our drive to Seattle and, as usual, it did not disappoint. My husband ordered the cinnamon roll French toast and I went with the Ranch Hand scramble. We split both (highly recommend doing this if you can't decide), and the portions were so generous that more than half of my scramble came home with us. What's impressive is that with portions this big, you'd expect something to give on quality -- but not here. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere is part of what keeps us coming back. The restaurant has that cozy, rustic charm and there's a cute little gift shop up front that's impossible to walk past without browsing. This time we grabbed some Valentine's white chocolates to take on the road -- such a fun touch. This has become one of our must-stop traditions to and from Seattle, and it's consistently worth it every single time.

My previous review of The Quincy landed somewhere in the middle, which made Shelby's response stand out even more. She didn't just leave a quick public reply and move on. Shelby followed up with me directly via email, offered a sincere apology, and invited us back with a credit toward a future meal. A small business owner who genuinely listens to feedback and responds with that level of care and respect is something special. That alone made me want to give The Quincy another try. I'm very glad we did. We returned tonight and the experience was fantastic - honestly better than fantastic. The service was attentive from the moment we walked in. The dining room had that perfect Friday night energy: lively but comfortable. People were enjoying conversations and good food without the room ever feeling loud or chaotic. With our 5:00 pm reservation, everything felt smooth, relaxed, and welcoming. One thing that has always intrigued me about The Quincy is their rotating specials. They consistently offer creative options alongside a strong core menu. I tried one of the margarita specials and it was an absolute hit. If you're looking for a dependable menu favorite, I still highly recommend the white fish. This time I ordered the Mediterranean stuffed chicken and it was truly one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The vegetables were roasted perfectly, and the chicken was packed with flavor while still feeling balanced and fresh. My husband is a notoriously picky eater (tomatoes and spinach are usually a hard no), and even he was eyeing my plate and asking for a bite. My biggest takeaway now is this: yes, this is a well-run restaurant - but that's actually the least interesting part about it (and I mean that as the highest compliment). This time, the food felt thoughtfully prepared, the atmosphere is warm, and the owner clearly cares about feedback and community. That combination is rare. We're already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for having us back!

I enjoyed the fondue best out of all the items we had ordered. The sausage and the apple was the best of the 4 pieces and the cheese was tasty. I forgot the exact name of the drink I ordered but it was the Caribbean one and it was good. I was hoping it would be a little sweeter. Service was good unti the end, it was okay. I had a large party with me and the food took time to come out which was fine since there was a lot. The servers were friendly and I also had gotten a fun birthday creme brulee. The creme brulee by the way extra sweet. It took the servers a long while to get our check and we had asked a few times to get it. I would say this restaurant is a good one though. I enjoyed it till the end!
